My son just received an appointment to USMA West Point. My friend, an experienced WP mom, with two sons who are cadets, gave this to me as a gift. I learned a lot and it will be a great resource over the next 4 years.

In Spring of 2022, my daughter accepted her appointment to West Point. This book was recommended to me by other moms to assist with the many overwhelming questions and concerns that we have as our child begins their journey through the academy. This book answers questions you have, and questions that you didn’t know that you needed to ask. I highly recommend this book to any new family to the West Point experience.

While I will admit I'm biased because my wife wrote this book, it's full of valuable information for moms, dads, and anyone else who wants to learn how things work at West Point. This summer, you can buy the 3rd (and final!) edition!

A good and eye opening read. I think a few details have changed since the book was published but definitely gives you a good foundation regarding what to expect.
