“I need her in a way that won’t take no for an answer.”

When Catalina walks in the door, my heart stops.
She’s my best friend’s little sister, Etta’s babysitter,
and hot as hell.
The timing is all wrong.
She’s too young, lost, and doesn’t know what she wants.
I have a baby and don’t need another person to take care of.
But then I take her against the wall and she finds her w

3rd bust in a row. I couldnt exactly tell what this book was about since the author did that annoying look at characters inner thoughts thing rather than a real blurb telling me the basic plot outline of the story. It sounded like h fleeing an abusive ex though which is quite possibly my favorite trope, and the dude on the cover was hot and tattooed so I decided to give it a shot. Almost immediately I realized this wasnt going to go well. The book has shifting 1st person POVs, which can occasion ...more blog~

This was a struggle to finish reading.....the characters totally sucked. Jude, the tatted up bad boy, yeah right made me want to cringe....Evie was a bitch, Holden was an asshat, and don’t even get me started on Cat. This book just didn’t work for me.

When Catalina sees Jude and her reaction ... you know your baseline is a pretty hefty suspension of disbelief. [And then the archaic view of how a person can/would get custody - of course the birth parent is important but it isn't and hasn't been the end all be all for a long time.]

ANYWAY. Cute story overall, I like how sometimes the heroine just had no fucks to give - which made her more mature and stable - but other times things just didn't make sense.

It was nice though that Jude had the bac
2.5 points. Max.

I am torn.

Seriously, this book just wasn't it for me.

Well, I can't really say, probably mainly because of the characters:

I liked the main characters, really did.
Jude's a great dad, doesn't care about blood and all that, he just loves his daughter.
Cat? Well, I had my difficulties liking her. She did nothing for six months. Literally nothing but Netflix and chill. And I mean, yeah, she had a reason for that but come on, that reason wasn't that good! Plus, she never figures her
2.5 stars.

This was a quick and sweet read. But there are some issues, that I just can't overlook and that bother me really.

I liked Jude. He was sweet and 100% there for his little daughter. He tried to save his baby mamma, but she wouldn't have it. And you can't help someone, who doesn't want to be helped. He was sweet with Cat and didn't treat her like a ONS.

Cat, well, this girl has problems. I know that what happened to her was really cruel and sick. And I can understand that she needed a new

My Rating: Four Sinfully Sweet Stars****
Great Read! This is my first time reading Frankie Love's work but it certainly won't be my last. Saint Jude is a cute, well-crafted, fast-paced, easy to follow contemporary bad boy romance with a clearly defined his and her first person narrative. There were a few minor boo-boos but nothing that distract

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Frankie strikes again! I think I was most intrigued with Jude's story while reading all of the LA bad boys books. How can you not love a guy that wants to help everyone. He and Catalina were two broken people desperate to be put back together. Loved it! ...more

As with the other books in this series a pretty good story. Jude is a fixer. When he sees someone broken or on the road to self destruction he has to step in. This is all due to something from his past that he feels responsible for. He wasn't there for someone when he should have been. He is also rich and produces great movies. Cash Flow, Hollywood Holden and he are like three Amigos. After his girlfriend Rachel leaves him with a 6 month old daughter he needs help. Holden's sister Caitlyn is run ...more

Saint Jude and his bff little sis

This was a quick read. I wouldn't quite classify Jude as a bad boy. His baby-momma walks out on him and their 6mo daughter. He's in a bind and needs a sitter. His bff Holden sends his little sis...after all, she's just been sitting around his guest house foe the last 6 months. Jude and Catalina share a connection and before you know it, they're friends w benies. But is everything all sunshine and rainbows? Each has an ex rather left in the past...will they stay t

Jude and Catalina

Absolutely loved book three in the LA bad by series. Jude is my all time favorite in this series and Cat is the perfect person to save Saint Jude. I cried, laughed and fell in love with their story.

My heart was breaking there for a little bit. But if course this author brings it in for a great HEA. This is another on my reread list.

St. Jude by Frankie Love
I don't want to be mean and bash this book because I am sure that Frankie Love worked very hard on it, but it didn't really do much for me. I think any good book makes the reader either want to be the characters, be with the characters or be friends with the characters, but I don't feel any of that. I found no connection with 22 year old Catalina who has been living in her brothers guest house after running from her ex-boyfriend 6 months ago. She has little to no aspirati

Jude was a little too weak for my liking. At the beginning I felt sorry for him when his girlfriend left him with their six month old baby. Then Jude started seeing Catalina, who obviously had issues of her own but seemed nice enough. It was when Jude stood by and allowed his cousin to bad mouth Cat that I lost any empathy for this guy. He just stood there and let his cousin basically bring Cat to tears. Not good in my books. Later we find out that Etta isn't his child and he pretty much knew it ...more

St. Jude and Cat Save Each Other

Jude, last of the LA bachelors, is living a private upheaval; but then, so is Catalina, Holden's baby sister. It might be a bad idea for them to hookup, but it might be the best idea, ever. Love closes the series combining two unlikely partners - a newly single dad and a frightened, lost soul. But somehow, it works. Both characters allow circumstances to draw from their best natures, and neither needs a lot to grow up, once they have a reason. The secondary chara

Great father and baby story

I really enjoyed Jude's love for his baby girl, Etta and how he cared for her after being abandoned by little Etta's mom. Jude has serious issues of being a fixer. Then along comes, Catalina, his best friend's little sister . Cat also has issues of her own, including an ex who won't let go. The two hook up for a steamy night that leads to problems for both of them. Love this tale but I don't see Jude as a bad boy at all. But this story is still worth the trip, complete
