Excellent translation of this beautiful, masterfully designed and inspiring kakawin.
If you want to read Sutasoma in English, this translation will do justice to you. It's language is clear yet not really simplified. It comes with great notes and will guide you through the piece in a wonderful way.
The explanations of the Buddhist topics can also be interpretted in a non-Buddhist way at time, ex:
As well as some interesting philosophies like non-duality and Javanese ideas.
The author also relates Sutasoma to SHK and other texts giving it context and a more thorough explanation of the text.
I definitely recommend the translation.
