Having never read a Debra Anastasia book before, I wasnt sure what to expect when I started this. All I knew is after reading the blurb, I couldnt not read it. First and foremost, I have to say that 'For All the Evers' was one of the most romantic, epic tale Ive read in a long time. This story is about finding your true love, your soulmate and finding your happily ever after, but its also a story that honors war veterans as well. I loved how the author did that in such a

This story is dedicated to the authors uncle who died with honor serving our country during World War II. Thomas F. McHugh may not have had a wife, or children, or any descendants other than his siblings, but through his niece's imagination she has gifted him a romance that is beautiful and timeless.

The authors love and want to gift something to her uncle whom she had never met is a thing of beauty. Her imagination gifted a story so interesting and

"Don't cry, my pretty Fallen. This. What we just did here? It will be the light in my darkest goddamn hour. Memories of time with you are my sanity."

First of all, I read this book in one sitting (I finished it around 4:30AM) and used a lot of tissues because I was crying my eyes out. Debra did an amazing job and this book is one of the most beautiful way to honor her uncle Tommy. For All the Evers was such a magical, beautiful and

The start to this beautiful love story was a letter the author wrote for her uncle Tommy, who was the inspiration behind this book. Although he died in WWII, his spirit lived on with his family.
"After people read this, you will be known. You will be remembered. And you will be loved."

Debra Anastasia was not wrong. This story was heartbreaking

This is a book the main purpose of which is to honor the war veterans, especially the writers great uncle Thomas McHugh.

With all my respect to him and all the other war veterans all over the world, I really expected a tear jerker book but instead, what I found was a fairy tale for small children under the disguise of a paranormal romance.

OK, I can also dream of something crazy something that can happen only in dreams and base my novel on that plot and keep my explanations as to how it happens

Sorry guys but this is going to have to be a no frills review with no spoilers..

FOR ALL THE EVERS: Reading the 'Prologue' it feels like it's setting us up for a fall as we're left spiralling into an emotional abyss that you can just feel is going to come at us full throttle. An unconventional romance.

No question, this is a beautifully written romance, however it is a paranormal/time travel read, and not my usual genre of choice. I really wanted to love it since it involves a military hero, but I just found it difficult to connect to the storyline, although it did keep me guessing as to the conclusion. I really think this is a case of "it's just me" and not the book.

This is a love story where the present collides with the past, and the H and h are trying desperately to combine the

I have a major case of The Feels. This unique story had me questioning everything and hoping for all the things even when I was a ball of anxiety. Debra Anastasia wrote an amazing story that had me completely comfortable with suspending disbelief and making me a believer of true love ever after.

Fallen and Thomas don't live the same life. They don't even live at the same time. But one dream connects these two and from the moment they meet, they are forever changed. But the

When I saw you? When you looked at me? I felt like Id been waiting to see you my whole life, that my soul was off center until you put your arms around me. I felt safe, and until then I hadnt even been sure what safe was.

This is a very difficult book to review in too many words as its so easy to ruin it with spoilers, which we have always vowed never to do, as we ourselves hate knowing anything that will impact our enjoyment of a story. So as per usual, we wont. Debra

From the start we know that this is a story that the author holds very dear to her heart. I will admit that right at the start, this story was so unique and I loved seeing and feeling a more personal connecten like I did with tommy.

I won't go into too much detail but I really enjoyed Fallen character. She had this huge weight on her shoulders and the time she spent with Thomas really seemed to help her relax.

Thomas was so perfect. He was an alpha male trying to survive and fell in love with

I am a big fan of Debra Anastasia's work and this book was completely different to anything else she has written before. It had such a unique plot line and is a story about fighting for your happy ever after.

Fallen is struggling to cope with raising her teenage brother on her own. Their alcoholic mother has once again left them to deal with the financial mess she has made. Fallen works hard to put food on the table and make sure her brother is taken care of, despite having to give up

ARC received for an honest review.

I have loved all the Debra Anastasia books I have read previously, but For All The Evers is something completely different to what we have had recently.

The premise of the story is a love story, but the execution is something quite unique. It is hard to describe the book without giving too much away, but let's just say there may be something a little supernatural about Fallen and Thomas' story.

The story is a little bit like the first line of Bohemian Rhapsody...

2.5-3 stars. This could be a case of "it's not you, it's me," as I see lot's of 4.5 and 5 stars for this one.

What I liked: I appreciate that this is an ode to a deceased war veteran relative. One who was so beloved that everyone knew his stories. I like that and the factual similarities between the real Thomas and the fictional Thomas. What a great way to honor him.

What I didn't like: I never connected with any of the characters. They seemed kind of one dimensional to

Debra Anastasia has delivered a unique and powerful story of love, depicting that it can overcome anything, even time. This story has mystery, elements of supernatural, romance, and suspense.

The characters Fallen and Tom are really enjoyable people. Both of them are rare and sacrificing for the people they love. Fallen sacrifices everything for her brother, often puttig herself in unsavory positions to make sure he is taken care of and has not

I saw this book and knew I had to read it. The idea of love across time is such a delicious one that I tend to snap up books with any variation on that theme. Though I've know Debra for her romantic comedy, and may have shed tears laughing at both her books and her Facebook posts, this novel gives us a different look at her writing chops and the stories that fascinate her.
This story is a bit contemporary, a bit magical realism, and a lot love--the sort that romance writers always seek to capture

If I had one word to describe this story it would have to be Enthralling!!

Fallen and Thomas's story had kept me tangled and twisted until the very end! It was a story that had you traveling from one time to another! Fallen was fighting up until the very end for the love of her life, Thomas. Nothing, and I mean nothing ,was going to keep her from finding her dream lover! Not her mother, brother, and especially not her evil boss, Mr. Orbit! I felt that she was willing to take on anyone if it

Debra Anastasia is a 1-click author for me, so when I was given the chance to read an advanced copy of this story I jumped on it right away!
I've been following the teasers, and her comments and posts about the story, so I had a pretty well-formed idea of what I was walking in to. Turned out I was only partially right.

I love time travel romances and the premise of this one was just too good to pass up. Even though I found the plot quite fascinating and it kept me glued to the pages I wasn't wholly invested in the story because I didn't fully connect with the characters, I also felt like there was telling rather than showing going on especially in the last chapter and also I didn't fully believe the explanation. That said it was an enjoyable read and I look forward to reading more work from this author.

I want to get this out of the way first. Reading this book is the perfect example of why you should never just read one book by an author. I will admit that I read another book by this author and could not finish it. It pains me to say that because if you know me, I will do everything I can to power though a book. I dont like leaving things unfinished. Yet, I had to with that book. When the blurb for For All The Evers came out, I knew I needed to read it. It was completely the opposite of what I ...more

Ive never read a book quite like this one before.

Fallen spends her days working in order to take care of her younger brother, after having essentially been abandoned by their alcoholic mother. Their mom still makes the occasional appearance in their lives, but its only when she needs something. Eventually Fallen lands a job working in a hotel, where shes assigned to take care of the fifth floor. Room 514 is never frequented by guests,

I loved Debra Anastasia's Poughkeepsie. I thought it was unique and well written. So I had high hopes that this book would be no different.
Whilst I found the storyline to be incredibly unique, to the point that I had to know how things concluded, that I'm afraid is where it ended for me.
It was the main character, Fallen Billow, where I started to have my doubts about this book. Her personality appeared too naive, obsessive to the point of annoyance and generally just weak, especially when it

Starting with this, this book is on my top 5 list. I had a list of top 5 it changed after this. It is tied for top book.

This is not the first book I have read by this author, so I thought I was well prepared going in. I wasnt. I did not want to read spoilers or anything to give any indications as to what may happen or what was going on. This was an amazing and gripping journey for Fallen and Thomas. Not at all what I was expecting.
