Dated but nice to have a book describing various ruins I’ve visited in Mexico.

While this book is dated, it is still a great addition to any personal library. Having visited Tulum, Mexico myself in 2015, it was a delight seeing the photos of Tulum in this book. Our guide told us that the locals prefer not having their temples referred to as pyramids and out of all the historic sites, Tulum was considered the Holy of Holies. Tulum itself, is a 2000 year old walled city that rests on the coast facing the Caribbean Sea. This book does a great job covering as many of the historical sites as possible, including many photographs along the way.
