Baby Surprise for the Doctor Prince by Robin Gianna is a February 2017 Harlequin Medical romance. The story captures your attention from page one with beautiful prose and a captivating heroine who you instantly fall in love with. Aubrey Henderson is sweet, caring and spirited. Her arrival in Venice takes her breath away. But her shock when she meets her new boss will leave a lasting impression on her. Prince Enzo Affini is a man who knows exactly what he wants. Meeting Aubrey again only makes his heart rate speed up. He is captivated with her but he knows the child she carries would put them both in a position where they must decide what’s best for their baby. As they reconnect, Aubrey and Enzo realize if they want to be happy they have to look past their issues. Overall, I found that this book tells an emotionally stirring story, with a sensual romance which adds that magical touch to make you sigh with contentment. I will surely reread this one sometime in the near future!

MS Gianna has taken me on a magical and sensual journey to Venice the city is beautiful and the journey to a HEA for Doctor Prince Enzo Affini and Nurse Aubrey Henderson is one that will have you turning the pages as Enzo takes Aubrey on a tour of the city and they find love that neither was prepared for.
Aubrey is in Italy working for The World Wide Health Organization and while in Rome meets the gorgeous Dr Enzo Affini who is there to question her about her friend Shay who is to marry Enzo’s brother Dante, but those questions lead to a night of passion a night that will not be forgotten. So when Aubrey arrives in Venice to take up a new position for four months she is stunned to find that the Doctor she will be working with is none other than Enzo but she is determined to put the past behind her and keep it business only because Venice and its beautiful buildings mean a lot to her but will she save her heart.
Enzo has a lot going on in his life at the moment and is shocked when his new nurse turns out to be Aubrey the one night stand he has not forgotten and feels that he needs to get her another placement but Aubrey convinces him that they can work together and keep emotions under control while she enjoys Venice so they decide to go for it but feelings and emotions are hard to keep under control as they get to know each other.
This is a beautifully written story one that ticks all of the boxes for a fabulous medical romance it is fact paced, sensual and very moving as Enzo is so sure he is not a good bet as a man to have in any female’s life and Aubrey knows what a caring loving man he is and when stress concerning Enzo’s family home becomes involved and they are both being a little stubborn well a baby makes them both realize how much they love each other and left me with a big smile yes I loved this one thank you MS Gianna for another keeper.

A heartfelt romance is expertly interwoven with medical emergencies in the latest story from talented Robin Gianna, where emotions are frequently conflicted and lives are forever changed. Two people who enjoy helping others find themselves experiencing unanticipated desire for each other. One of them might be willing to see if they can actually be in a relationship, but the other is too fearful and will not take a chance. As this couple tries to keep anything from affecting their ability to work together, genuine feelings for each other continues to grow stronger. I never knew for certain how these main characters would react, but it was always with frank responses. BABY SURPRISE FOR THE DOCTOR PRINCE entertains with one engaging scene after another.
When Aubrey Henderson went to Venice, it was to offer any needed assistance to another nurse who had just married. During the two days spent in the city, she became intimate with Prince Enzo Affini who is the brother of the bridegroom. For the next two months, Aubrey was in Rome teaching required skills to new nurses. Now she is looking forward to being back in Venice for several months and working in a clinic before returning to the United States. However, Aubrey’s joy turns to shock when she realizes Enzo is the doctor with whom she must work. Though wary of their being able to behave professionally at all times, he lets her stay on after proving she is a very capable nurse. While the couple may get closer, Enzo feels there can never be anything permanent between them. But an unexpected disclosure may alter his thinking.
Although BABY SURPRISE FOR THE DOCTOR PRINCE is the second book in the Royal Spring Babies series, it does not have to be read first as plenty of facts are cleverly provided. Aubrey loves helping others and often puts their needs ahead of her own. But Enzo lets numerous suspicions affect his opinion of her in the beginning, as he has had many women pursue him. Yet his new nurse is certainly up-front in letting him know just how wrong he is about her, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching her get this point across. Aubrey and Enzo are very convincing characters, from their conduct with each other to how they perform medical procedures. Many of their conversations are filled with quick-wit, and I loved their intelligent comebacks. The author let this couple express their desire for each other with kisses and touches that are always sincerely conveyed. BABY SURPRISE FOR THE DOCTOR PRINCE is passionate, amusing, and constantly packed with honesty.
Past events greatly influence how Aubrey and Enzo now act, and I anxiously waited to see how many of their scenes together would play out. Robin Gianna knows how to make every moment in her story seem candidly realistic, and I truly believed the trueness of every situation as presented. From working through personal troubles to trying to fix a medical problem, any incident was always conceivable. There are also lots of activities taking place that could only happen in Venice, and I got a sense of what it would be like to visit.

This is a light easy read and I loved it after reading a few heavier type books over the last month .
Two very strong characters , Aubrey and Enzo have a one night stand but discover each other again in a second trip Venice . She is a nurse and he a doctor but they both have baggage in their background which make a relationship very difficult. Instead they decide to not become involved but just keep their relationship purely professional .This is the first book I have read by author Robin Gianna and I loved the wonderful description of the canals and buildings of Venice, she certainly took me on a wonderful journey to a very special place . It is a inspiring story about looking at what is most important in life and learning to trust .
I read a large print copy and it was much appreciated as sometimes the print is very small.

I loved this book, the story is great, the characters are amazing and the style of writing seems effortless and flowing. A highly entertaining and easy book to read.

This story as Robin Gianna always does keeps you reading till you finish. It is heartwarming, delightful, and you feel like you have traveled to Venice too.

Robin Gianna does it again. She gives us another wonderful, quick read with "Baby Surprise for the Doctor Prince." This is the conclusion of a two part series 'Royal Spring babies' and we see Aubrey Henderson coming to Venice to help out after a fellow nurse gets married. Aubrey first meets Dr. Enzo Affini and they have one night of hot, no stings attached, sex. Aubrey returns to Rome to teach nursing for a couple of months before she returning to Venice where she finds Enzo, and also finds out that they will be working together. This becomes complicated when she finds out she is carrying his child.

Oh wow, loved this so very much Robin as always utterly beautiful ending to a fabulous story, I always end up yelling at characters stubbornness but then again they wouldn't be them without it lol, thank you Robin for another fantastic book that proves love is the best medicine

By now everyone must know I'm addicted to reading Robin Gianna and love her romance books...including Robin Gianna herself, so it should come as no surprise to anyone that Robin send me her latest , March release "Baby Surprise For The Doctor Prince"! It is part of the " Royal Spring Babies" series that she did with another author I love Amy Ruttan and I can honestly tell you that these two author out did themselves writing these two stories that are stand alones as well as books that can be read together....Medical Romances at its finest!
Prince Enzo Affini has a hard time trusting people especially after the way his own father screwed him and his brother over. So when his brother Dante's fling comes back into his life announcing she was pregnant with his baby and married her Enzo couldn't believe it so he set out to find out more about the woman from her best friend, Aubrey Henderson.
Like his brother and Shay, the chemistry between Enzo and Aubrey couldn't be denied and one thing led to another which led to them burning up the sheets of the bed they fell into.
Nurse Aubrey Henderson left Venice for a 2 month stint in Rome for the World Wide Health Organization but came back to work in a clinic in Venice and realize her mothers dreams of preserving the architecture in the area she had come to love, a way she can realize two dreams at once, only that dream isn't sure a dream when she shows up at the clinic and realizes the doctor she is going to be working under is non other than the man she had experienced ecstasy under two months before, Enzo, the same man who said he'd be in touch and didn't bother to call breaking her heart in the process.
Aubrey won't let the man derail her dreams or break her heart again and made no bones about making sure he knew it too but Enzo didn't quiet believe that it was coincidence that she was back in his life and trust was hard for him to give even to the woman who's stolen his heart. And with a father of her own who used her and hurt her like Enzo's father did him can she really trust him again?
Can Aubrey and Enzo learn to trust each other again? And when two lines appear on the pregnancy test will it destroy the knew found trust or destroy it forever?
I fell in love with these characters completely and found myself wanting to find their fathers and beat the crap out of them myself for hurting them and causing the barriers they had erected to protect themselves against eachother because of them.
Beautifully well written this Captivating romance grabbed my attention and held from beginning to end, so much so that I was able to read it in one sitting.....but I'm not surprised because that is all Ms. Gianna ever does, grabs my attention and captivates me with her characters and storylines!
I can't wait to see what she has in store or me next time!
Run out and grab a copy today cause its a romance you don't want to miss.... and even better..... its Ms. Gianna's birthday today so it would be a perfect way to say "Happy Birthday Robin!" from her fans like me!!!

April 25, 2017Robin Gianna has several fun twists in this story! Aubrey and Enzo are strong and stubborn characters who have a few fears holding them back. Watching them steer through the murky waters is a lot of fun! A great read!
