Bad day, you think you've had a bad day! Try the string of bad days that seem to follow Helen.

Left at the altar
Client from Satan's army
Blind date no shows
and the most obnoxious Parking Spot Thief

Clearly Helen deserves a little break. She's going to get one in the form of her best friend's destination wedding. Or is she?

Trouble and bad breaks seem to follow Helen even to the island of Bora Bora. Reading her misadventures just makes you want to hug her that much more! Add in the gorgeous man that

I'm always up for a new read from a new-to-me author and when we got presented the chance to review this chick lit romance with some humor I jumped at the chance.

Going through so many ups and downs with Helen I was really worried that she wouldn't get her happily ever after, but dang did she get to enjoy a heck of a vacation. (Mostly) I liked Helen, but I was overly excited about her but I did feel horrible for her because she was dealt a pretty bad hand. And I have to say if my husband made me

A delightfully light read which came as a welcome break from a dreary October week. The Parking Space was an emotional, yet not too intense, window into the life of a woman recovering from being stood up at the altar. Twists and turns of fate bring jilted San Franciscan Helen head-to-head with a new crush while on vacation in Bora Bora. Having spent most of the novel getting to know Helen and sympathizing with her frustrations and disappointments, I wanted her to find happiness and kept rooting ...more

OMG.. Just the mention of Bora Bora already had me gushing and dreaming of paradise. But that's not the only reason I got this book by Angela Archer. It's the promise of something beautiful between two broken hearts finding their road to forever which started in a parking space.

Oh yes, that parking space, the monumental catalyst to their journey to paradise, albeit unbeknownst to both parties. Helen Wright was left at the altar, distraught and shocked at the turn of events. Her boyfriend of two

What a great read! Especially finishing it right as the weather is warming up, I could total feel the sand beneath my toes and the warm ocean air around me. Angela did a fantastic job of creating Helen's world for me to occupy with her. I ached for her, rejoiced with her, cried with her, laughed with her. This is a fantastic romance read - full of attraction and adventure, but it's "low heat" - which I much prefer.

I connected with the protagonist immediately and couldn't wait to finish this won

Fun light story.

Location was fun. Mild humor. I wanted to know more about Rick's character to make the story more intense. The parking space issue seemed out of character.

Helen Wright is left at the altar. Left reeling she tries to pick up the pieces by focusing on her Real Estate career. Her wealthy client suddenly drops her and she's left with nothing. She meets handsome veterinarian Rick Stark. Neither of them are looking for love. Helen heads to Bora Bora when her best friend decides to do a destination wedding. She is much surprised when she runs into Rick. A romance ensues though both are hesitant. Will they be able to put aside their hesitations and find l ...more
