First I want to thank J.C Hannigan for having a Blog release blitz so that I could be part of it, because let me tell you book two was just as good as book one! I definitely felt all the feels, and there was a lot going on throughout!!

I love that we got more of Elle and Braden. I so wanted to read more after Tessa and Brock's story. Elle and Braden's story is heartbreaking and beautiful. Yet at the same time, this book leaves you with a feeling of hope and love. This book will run you through so many emotions. It is definitely one book, you will not be able to put down though.
It was great seeing how they have grown and changed since the first book and their journey together is definitely one to experience.

Once again, JC Hannigan gave me a roller coaster of angst, hurt, pain, attraction, love... This book had all the feels! Rebel Heart is an emotionally gripping second chance romance and book two in the Rebel series. That being said, it could also be read as a standalone if you haven't read book one. (But seriously, go read book one! It was excellent!)

J. C. Hannigan's Rebel Heart is part stand alone and part continuation of the story told in Rebel Soul. The cast of characters is basically the same, but this time the focus is on Elle and Braden, who were prominent secondary characters in the first book.

This was my first book by J.C. Hannigan and I wasn't disappointed. Once I started this series I couldn't put it down and finished it in one weekend. Tessa and Brock had me rooting for them from the beginning and I enjoyed the story line from start to finish.

Rebel Heart by J.C. Hannigan is the second book in the series but can absolutely be read as a standalone. In Rebel Heart the reader follows Elle and Braden's journey back to each other. This book deals with a very serious issue, post traumatic stress syndrome and how PTSD can affect one's life more than you could anticipate.

This book was really hard for me to get into. I put it down and came back to it a few times before really settling in to read it. I liked the slow build and the burn was crazy but overall, I didn't like more about this one than I did like.

Although this is the second installment in the series, it can be read as a standalone. I however, recommend reading them in order- I think it would be more enjoyable that way.

Elle and Braden's story was almost as addictive as Tessa and Brock's. A completely different perspective and one, I'm sure, many of us ladies have battled with at one time or another: To feed our hearts or to feed our brain and insecurities. Rebel Heart ended a bit abruptly, with no finality and leaving me wanting to see how things turn out. A crazy, insatiable tale of cat and mouse love - great work, JC!

The second in the series is Elle and Bradens story. First love and the emotional turmoil of it all. Second chances and the emotions of dealing with PTSD. This was an amazing story beautifully written and dealt with it all so well. I can't wait to see if there is more in this series to read with some of the other characters we met in book1 and 2. I would highly recommend as a must read series.
