Short read, part of a series. The first third of this story is also in the Prelude to Jack's Magical Beanstalk. The rest of the story is about Jack and Sam helping Sam's family. Danger everywhere but love wins out.

I received a copy of this story through Candid Book Reviews, and this is my unsolicited review.

Quite a good interpretation of the original story but I found the story a little hard to follow at some points.

This is the 2nd book in this series and it is as great as the first one! I really enjoyed reading this book and seeing more of the adventures that Jack and Sam faced.
I volunteered to read this book and leave an honest review.

Jack’s Magical Beanstalk and the Jeweled Grotto has it all: steamy sex, infinite riches, giants, adventure and even a little deception. What more could a fan of gay romance want? The main characters, Jack and his lover Sam, are wonderfully illustrated. Jack is a big, brawny, good-looking farmer who wooed Sam from the land above the beanstalk. He’s forthright, strong and honest—a hard-working individual whose only aim is to keep his family and farm safe from harm. Sam isn’t quite as robust, but n ...more

In Book 2, the story line starts evenly and with a smooth transition from Book 1. This story, however, has several added depths of new villains, new characters and new challenges. This delightfully spun fairytale demonstrates the author’s own writing style deliciously in steamy sex scenes and charming humorous banter and circumstances. It is an evenly balanced story with substantive descriptions and imagery so tangible, you will dream

This is the second installment in this series.
I liked how the story picked up where that last one left off giving the nice even transition to the storyline. Like most series it is nice to read the stories in order so that you don't miss anything. It also helps in making things more clear.
The characters had that same feel to them. You could and can relate to what they are going through. The author brings them to life.
In the Jeweled Grotto...Sam strays from Jack a little. A tiny indiscretion. He

This sequel to Jack's magical beanstalk is a fun sexy m/m short story that is filled with laughs and steamy hot scenes. This book picked up smoothly from the first one and was an easy continuation of the story of Jack and Sam. In this book Sam is anxious to get home to see his family even to the point he does a few things that he knows Jack will frown upon. The author brings to life this fun continuation with a great feel for the

I love the fairy tales and I'm always interested in reading different takes on them, but I ended this book feeling rather ambivalent about it. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either. The characters were interesting enough but rather predictable and as the storyline unfolded it just failed to hold my interest.

what happens when Jacks partner Sam needs to go back up the beanstalk but must find one first and yet keep it a secret , from Jack . can he keep it from him and can he hold off with one of the farmhands advances on Sam or will it be too much to fend off . find out to see if Sam makes it to his family to save them and can Jack find a way to save his home .

So this was a good story but it was pretty repetitive for me.. i feel like i was reading the prelude and first book again.. with a few more things thrown in.. i did enjoy it and the writing was good but that was my only problem. i am glad i got to review it
