I'm still disappointed that this series took a left turn into REVOLUTION!!!! near the end of the first book, but this was (a) a perfect beach read and (b) so much better than book 2! Full disclosure, I have not read the first two books in this series but this book did not grip me enough to want to go back to read them. It's basically Hunger Games in space (at least this third book paralleled the third book in the Hunger Games series very similarly).
The one thing that kept me reading was the setting and the plot. The setting was fairly imaginative, taking place in the distant future where humans have colonized the moon and where the bulk of the remaining humans on Earth live

War has come, to both Earth and the Moon, and Phaet finds herself on the front lines, making decisions for the good of all, while endangering those she loves most. A fitting end to the trilogy, but tough read, facing what actions some will take in war.

Dove Alight was just as good as the other two books! The epilogue was my favorite part!

This series was ok, but could have been more. Never had the focus that it should have had.
