I will start by saying that I have read the first book in The Timekeepers series and I thought that this one was much better than the first. The writing got much better in this one. It was easier to follow who was who in this book. The author didn't switch back and forth between characters first and last names as much in this book, actually rarely at all. It made it much easier to follow.

Disclosure: I purchased a signed copy of the book “The Last Timekeepers and the Dark Secret” by Sharon Ledwith at a gala hosted by its publisher. I have met the author and have had encounters with her on various occasions. We reside in the same area, and are both active in many book related events and activities. I had no communication with Ms. Ledwith at any time about providing a review. The comments that follow are my own personal opinion. I received NO compensation of any kind, or from any o

I enjoyed the prequel to this series, as well as the first actual book of the series, so was excited to get the opportunity to read this one. When I learned that it would deal with WWII, I was even more interested, as that is a period of history I have always had an interest in and love to read about it.
I was definitely not disappointed by this story. The timekeepers group get themselves into some suspenseful, frightening situations with the Nazis and with their time traveling nemesis, Crowley. ...more

This book proves that there is no I in team. The last timekeepers band together to protect a special book that the Nazis don't want to come to light. The team is at the top of their game in this one. Once again I loved the interactions of the characters and the plot kept moving forward in order to keep time safe. Five golden Diaries go to Sharon ledwith for writing such a wonderful story. Keep them coming. ...more
