A Cross to Bear is the college life story of a young man who knows what he wants, but is unprepared for what he gets. Logan is happy to be at college; he has a full scholarship on the swim team, he has other classes to keep his brain active, he meets the girl of his dreams, and finds friends that he never knew he was missing. Of course, not everything is peachy, and both Logan and Bree have things to deal with, both in their pasts and present.

This book starts at the end, and then you go to the

I love Logan and Bree's relationship and how it grows.
Ethan I could hit from the first time I met him, not the first chapter(flashback) part. He loves himself and thinks everyone else should too. Tommy is a wimp, he just does what Ethan wants and says. He needs to grow a pair and stand up for what is right. This comes out at times right through the book but especially with the transvestite.
Drake I loved from the beginning.
I love Jet, she knows what she is and what she wants and doesn't care w

I received a copy of this as a gift with no requirement to review.

I went into this book expecting to feel every emotion and I was not disappointed. This book was dark in some places and sad in others but it is an incredible story. I absolutely loved both Logan and Bree, Ethan on the other hand? Not so much. I loved how the book starts at the end and then moves to the beginning before taking me back to the end. I haven’t read a book like that before and it was a refreshing change. Another great

This book was unexpected.

It’s a dark, raw and at times compelling real story that managed to surprise me completely.

I wasn’t expecting a happy go lucky college romance, but the twists and turns took much darker paths than I was expecting.

The blurb leads us to believe that this book is about Logan, but personally I don’t think it is. Logan is a small player in a much bigger stage and although at times he takes centre stage, for

3* read.

This was a unique read in that it started at the end and works back to the beginning and then back to the end. Quite a dark read in places which I wasn't expecting, and a lot of twists and turns to keep you gripped and guessing. There's a lot of themes crammed into the one book which was a but much at times. I felt there should have been less as some issues seemed to be thrown in and not worked to there full potential. Also I struggled to relate to the characters to the point where I fou

Title: A Cross To Bear
Author: Julieanne Lynch

4 unforgettable stars

I came into A Cross To Bear without one single idea of what I was getting into - maybe I expected a story about a college guy who meets a girl and tried to balance school, swimming and a relationship. The last thing I expected however was a novel that touched all the subjects you'd never think would be brought up in one single novel: depression, manipulation, doubt, love and so many others that I had to wonder just who Juliean
