I should have taken the title as more of a literal title than a theoretical one. I was more hooked on the post-title, which discussed a development and transition of a play in communist China right before Tianimmun Square. yes, there are annotations in the book, but fairly minimal and very rare mention of the current events. all in all, this "book" is more a director's log than current events record like I had envisioned. This is probably moreso drawn to the theatrical artists rather than a hist ...more
