The wonders of healthcare information technology are endless. Using this book I was able to get a grasp on what it takes to manage an information system and the data that it collects. One of my favorite parts of this book was learning about HL7, which is a standardization of codes that allow for information systems to speak with each other. This type of innovation is what will help the healthcare community provide continuous and integrated health care across the United States.
