I have previously read and reviewed Metro Diaries which was a collection of short stories about love and relationships. It was a good experience and as such I did not want the chance to read this collection pass me by. Metro Diaries – 2 is the second collection of stories from the author and this time her focus is on a much broader subject – LIFE.

There are 20 stories in this book and each titled in a way to create curiosity in the reader. In some cases it is easy to guess what the story is about

Metro Diaries 2 by Namrata consists of 20 life stories all the stories are heart aching that has power to sadden your heart but these stories will raise some incurable questions in your head as to what life wants from us -to be noble souls ?.

Namrata has essayed each and every story with such a great intensity that your mind will stop wandering and will start recognizing itself with XYZ character .For a normal blogger like me it would be difficult to write stories that will make your heart move t

Metro Diaries - 2 is the second book of stories by Namrata. These are stories about the man and his relationship to the many aspects of life that make him trudge along day in and out. The author has personified the many characteristics that personify life thus, asking her readers to live and not just exist in this humdrum of every day.

This book consists of 20 unique stories, and each of them left a trail on my mind and heart. More so since none of them are fiction. They have either been told,

This book is a collection of 20 life stories. The book cover reflects the theme beautifully. That life is a journey and an enthusiastic storyteller. The last story of this book, "The Last Goodbye" is the perfect example of this fact.

'Not all journeys of life take you somewhere, some are meant to mislead so that you know what the right path is!' I loved this thoughtful quotation from the story 'Labour of Love'

Talking about my favourites - I really liked "Magpie of Memories" where Cara, a confused

Metro Diaries 2 is a collection of 20 life stories that will surely make you think and introspect. Unlike Namrata's first book Metro Diaries which is a collection of love stories, this book reflect the various shades of life, both colorful and grey.

The book starts with the story "Charlatan" which is about a girl who stood up against injustice when she found about the truth of her husband. As I read the first story, I was totally impressed by the author's storytelling skills. The

The anthology has 20 tales taken from our daily life, of commoners that we come across in our routine days woven with such intricate emotions that you would complete reading the whole book in a night's time. There is no set theme for the stories and it has stories from all walks of life. For instance, Magpie of Memories narrates the woeful tale of a trans-gender while it leaves you smiling at the consequences of small misunderstandings with the Stain o

Metro Diaries 2 is a collection of 20 short stories about life. Each story depicts a different perspective of life, leaving you with heartache. With each story I was enforced to introspect life in a special way. These stories left me with a feeling of living more while we have the time to do so, rebounding from the setbacks, putting yourself in others shoes.

The narration is so simple and well written. The flow was gradual, story after story. If I have to pick my favorites, they would definitely

This is the second part of the Metro Diaries series by Namrata and is a collection of 20 stories that revolve around life.

These fictional 20 stories of Metro Diaries - 2 are like an aggregation of varied human emotions that are plying on the edge of exploration.

The stories overall are engaging and strike the right chords of emotion which you might have experienced sometime or the other.

The stories may n

I liked it. A collection of 20 touching stories.

Stories that caress your heart and pull some strings. make you stop reading and make you feel nostalgic and thoughtful at times. You begin to imagine yourself in the stories .. especially since quite a few (or is it all?) are written in first person narrative

Want some heart-touching eye moistening read ... pick this up.
