People fear what they don’t understand. Maybe that’s why they all fear me. I’m sure they have their reasons, I just couldn’t possibly care what any of them are. As long as they’re afraid.
Born to a drug dealer father and a drug addict mother, I’ve been through enough to make a normal person lose their mind five times over. I’m not normal. Normal is for weak people, and I'm

description~WRITING - PLOT - PACE~
So this book started out quite good. The writing was great. The pace was good. The characters and plot engaging. That said, around 40% it started to fizzle out and I struggled to finish it. This was a LONG book. Too long in my opinion. The author really needed to tighten this story up A LOT. I mean the heroine (Reina) isn't even in the book from 40%-65%. And as much as Soloman King's character intrigued me, reading about his rise to baddie fame just wasn't that interesti

Born to a neglectful junkie ho, deep in the clutches of poverty, he knew the only way he was going to find a way out was by his own blood, sweat and tears. Armed with an almost cocky attitude and a chip on his shoulder, he and his best friend, Nix, start on the path to success. Once a stick-up kid, he’s graduated to armed robbery. Hmm..this was an interesting read. I'm not quite sure what to think about this book to be honest. Madman did capture my attention from the very first chapter but 35%- 40% along the way, I honestly lost interest. I felt like as though the storyline was dragging a little to long with so many unnecessary 'details'. I felt like as though the characters were trying to be something they really weren't- Almost psychotic. I feel like as if they were trying to be all 'sadistic' and 'crazy' like Joker an

Madman by WS Greer is the First book in the "Love & Chaos" series. This is the story of Reina Wilde and Solomon King. This does end with a cliffhanger setting us up for their continuing story.
Solomon grew up with a drug addicted whore of a mother and had to protect himself and get things by robbing people. His only friend if you would call him that was Nix Malone. Solomon at the age of 17 had grown a reputation of being bad and would fight easily with anyone. One day while walking to the Ar

Watch out world! Here come Solomon King.

Growing up in Strawberry Mansion with a junkie for a mother, Solomon King has done whatever he needed to do to survive. He takes what he wants, when he wants, from who he wants. When you have nothing, you do everything.

Reina is the girl from the other side of the tracks. One who has it all handed to her, no questions asked. The thing is though, she doesn’t want that life. She sees what is wrong in the way

It has been a while since I have had the chance to beta read, and when I had the offer from Author WS Greer on his newest book, I jumped at the chance. Reading a book form WS Greer, you never know what you are going to get, but you know it’ll be a wild ride, and Madman, did not disappoint. It was completely on target and kept my attention the entire read. WS has amazing attention to detail in his story telling so much, that he truly pulls you in to the book like you are

"When it's all said and done, I'll be the King, and she'll be the Queen at my side. The two of us will reign supreme over everything we lay our eyes on and we'll bring fire and chaos to anyone who stands in our way."

Let me preface that if this book was not being released next year, it would be in my list of Top Reads of the Year. I'm a sucker for a good lovable sociopath, and these two put Harley and Joker to shame. They are addictive insanity at it's best!! Solomon and Reina are a force of natu

Anyone who knows me knows that mafia romance is my jam. I'm absolutely obsessed with and it and love the alpha hero and the strong woman that is his exception. I honestly could not get enough of Solomon and Reina.

Solomon King is from the wrong side of the tracks. Born and raised in Strawberry Mansion, he's been the king of the streets before he can remember, rising from a drug addicted mother and a poverty-stricken upbringing to becoming a boss. But when a beautiful young girl from his

I LOVED this book, freaking loved everything about it the story the characters Soloman and Reina are like Bonny and Clyde on steroids only much more maniacal.

Soloman is the bad boy from the wrong side of town, he lives with his drug addict mother with no love or affection and no hope for the future. Reina is the girl who should have it all, she goes the right school, wears the latest fashion, has rich parents but she goes looking fit something more and meets Soloman.

I stayed up until 2am reading

Madman is crazier than you expected. It's more twisted than you hoped. He is both the Joker and Harley Quinn without the bad make up.

Chaos. Absolute chaos is caused by one man, Solomon King. Once you get to know him, you will fall under his spell. You will also question your own sanity. If you like your men bad, you will love Solomon. Those looking for good boys- run, run far and fast!

Ok seriously? Solomon King is mine! <3 He's all types of twisted and I loved every minute of it.

So much happens from when Solomon and Reina meet as teenagers and years later when their adults. It's what shapes them to be who they are together.

Every time I read a book by WS Greer, I get more and more addicted to his writing. I love when I am done with a book and I can't help but smile. That's when you know you've read a damn good book. Twists and turns I didn't expect, page after page..just h

Wow, what an amazing story this is! Reina is the golden girl, who can have whatever she wants, but she does not want this lifestyle. Solomon has had a tough upbringing, doing whatever he has to survive, and which has left him as a dark and ruthless psycho. When these two meet as teenagers, they are instantly drawn to each other, and when they reconnect as adults, life has shaped them into the characters they are now. I liked the writing style of this book. I liked that the author started us off with a look into Soloman's background and how he came to meet Reina. I also enjoyed Soloman's crazy side. I loved that he was psycho enough to fear nothing and was wholly unapologetic about it.

That being said, I also felt like the author gave me a look at Soloman's crazy and then just flooded me with it. After a while, he was no longer the mysterious bad@&$ and I was over it. While that didn't truly d

This is the first book in the Love and Chaos series. This is also the first book I have read by this author, but it will not be my last. It has dark themes and a hot alpha bad boy that is the KING. I must admit though, in the beginning, it was a bit slow for me. I had a bit of a hard time engaging with it. Once I was finally engaged, it began to drag on a bit. It is told in two parts. Part one is the early years. I liked the concept and the people. The writing was good and I liked it fine. When ...more

This is a man that learnt early on in life that life is tough and in order to survive it you have to not only be tough enough, but you also have to ensure that those around you understand just what you are willing to undertake in order to cement your standing…there was nothing that Solomon wouldn’t do and that

I enjoyed WS Greer's detective story, Red Snow so when I saw this I decided to give it a go. Madman is the character driven, detail laden story of the rise of Solomon King. Solomon started as a street kid with a junkie mother who had the drive, brains, and reckless crazy to rise to the top of Philly's underworld. With his best friend Nix, Solomon steals, cheats and intimidates himself out of the slums of Strawberry Mansion.

Mr. Greer is exceptional at building a character from the ground up. Sol

After reading the story and enjoying it I of course go to write a review and read what others have to say... I do agree on a few things - I did feel like it was a long story BUT that is only because we are set up to invest in Solomon and Reina so when they are apart and Solomon is doing his thing you kind of hang on just because you want Reina , like where is she what happened and when will she come back. Great Story.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It's my first from this Author and I'm definitely looking into his other books.

This story builds up really slowly setting the scene for what's a thoroughly engrossing read.

His life is tough and he's has to struggle to get by.

Having such a rough start made Solomon grow up fast he looked out for himself anyway he could.

Solomon didn't have an easy childhood, as he grew up with a junkie mother, so by the time he was 17, he was taking care of himself by fighting & robbing people, in order to eat and protect himself.
