Glory was one of those books where I just couldn't seem to pin down my feelings for it. I never felt as if I couldn't stop reading, this was definitely not a one sitter for me. Perhaps because it seemed so heavy at times, perhaps because MC isn't a normal genre for me. I keep wanting to love the genre, but I just can't seem to like it as a whole. Despite that, there were so many moments in this book where I found things to love.

"We spanned the room like two ends of a rainbow. But the only thing you

I really quite enjoyed this book. I really enjoyed the characters. For me it was like a Kit Rocha's Beyond Series meets Kristen Ashleys Chaos Series meets Jessica Sorenson's emotional New Adults. And that all worked for me. I am really looking forward to the next book in the series. Im hoping its Lucky and Seven...

One thing is the sub-plot was a bit weak. Its all a bit vague as to why it all got started and why it continued. But whatev's it created the needed conflict.

I enjoyed it but there were some things that kinda threw me off about the world and also the characters, for instance the hero is supposed to be alpha and a member of a MC yet he knows designer shoes there is just no way he knows that. His best friend uses a turn of phrase that no man will ever use. It's things like this that drew me out of the story and took away from my overall enjoyment of it.

Glory is the first book in Ana Jolene's Glory MC series, set in a dystopian future where solar flares have decimated the population and the government has collapsed. The area has been split into different sectors and Glory Motorcycle Club control ward 4. There is some rivalry between the different wards but we're yet to find out exactly what happened to cause this or who is in charge of most of the other areas. Indy and Hastie meet when she starts working behind the bar at the Glory MC club house, he's insta ...more

I was given a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.

I am so sorry Miss Jolene. I wanted to like it, I really did. I just couldn't get into it. I think my main problem was the fact that I couldn't stand Indy. I couldn't connect with her, I didn't understand her. I realize bipolar is serious, trust me I get it. The emotional connection between Indy and her sickness was just not there for me to connect to. Yes she would make offhanded comments about "I can let go and be free" or "Had

One of the best parts of being a reviewer is getting an opportunity to read authors I never would have found on my own. I was unfamiliar with Ana Jolene and while the blurb for Glory looked interesting, that’s never a guarantee. I’m glad to say, the book lived up to my expectations.
Jolene creates a detailed, intriguing world. Solar flares have destroyed civilization as we know it and continue to wreak havoc. Without a functioning government, Glory MC has established order in Ward Four. ...more

I was given a copy of this for an honest review.. This was the first book that I have read by this author. I absolutely loved this book. Glory is one of those books that you can easily love to read over and over again. This book covered a very difficult topic for some people. I am a person that deals with bipolar issues and she covered it with kindness and gentleness. I love the chemistry between the two main characters and the understanding that Hastie has when he finally learns what Indy is go ...more

This is my first book by Ana Jolene and let me tell you it was amazing. This book is a MC/Dystopian and the characters are really relatable. Diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, Indy works very hard to keep it under control with meds that are fast running out. Ian Haste is the VP of Glory MC? When he firsts sees Indy he's not aware of the secrets she keeps. But how long will those secrets stay under wraps?
I'm glad I read this book and I'm super excited for book two!

Received this book in exchange for an honest review

The world as we know it is transformed when solar flares raze the world destroying buildings, land and the population. Government and police organizations have been dismantled and MC’s have taken power over society. The story starts 6 years after the first flares with the heroin, Indy (India) landing a job at a bar. The very same bar that happens to be the clubhouse for glory MC. Whilst I loved the first sentence of the book, it started a littl

I must confess that I normally don’t read future-fiction books where the earth and his people are in jeopardy but I do love stories about motorcycle clubs and the blurb left me curious enough to give this book a try. And I’m so glad that I did because I really enjoyed this story and I look very much forward to reading the second book in this series.

“Glory” by Ana Jolene is an action packed MC book with rivalries, romance and a hint of dystopian theme.
“Indy” Beaumont, whose real name is India, is one of the main characters in the story. She’s a nineteen year old girl who recently applied for a job at the headquarters of Glory MC, Neptunes. At first Hanna, her boss, was hesitant about giving her the job, but eventually she did. Hanna is seeing Knuckle, who is the Glory MC’s head man, thus the reason why they settle at

The story is set in an apocalyptic future where the world is terrorized by sun flares that burn everything up. The story follows Indy, a girl with bipolar disorder which she tries to hide. And Haste, a member of the Glory Motorcycle Club. A club that happens to run Ward 4 where both characters live.

I received a copy of this book from the author.

The premise of this book was pretty awesome. It's set in an apocalyptic future where sun flares have caused the world to burn, and the government has fallen. Now there are Wards, and Ward 4 is run by the Glory Motorcycle Club. They are badass bikers who live by their own rules.

Indy was an interesting character. I didn't really connect with her, but I did like her character. She tries to hide the fact she has Bipolar from ever

Very realistic depiction of a girl with bipolar disorder. I appreciated reading one where things were coped with in ways that were helpful. I liked the red soled shoes. Very sexy. The story goes slow enough between the two mc's that you actually get to enjoy it develop. It isn't just the typical biker read with slam, bam, and pass it around again or hot and heavy instalust. Glory MC is having to adjust to the solar flares. The remaining people in the area are as well. I liked Hanna and Knuckle. ...more

Although I never read a dystopian MC book before, I found it to be a unique experience . I enjoyed it very much, it was different than any other MC I have read before. The main characters, Indy and Hastie have a complicated relationship. Indy is scared to tell anyone that she suffers from a bipolar disorder, unaware that Hastie will always love, her even thought she gets depressed.
I highly recommend this book to people who want to try something different/unique in the MC world.

First time picking up this author's book and I'm in love with the beginning of this series. Even though it's not typical of most MC books I read, it was a nice change this MC.

I actually enjoyed it :) But it's not the best MC book I've read.

the story was quite good, I am just not a big fan of distopian stories. Having Indy suffer from Bi-Polar made it a different story as well.

She meets Hastie not just a biker but a member of the ruling class in this new world order. There is no cops, no government these bikers rule. It was a lot of fun reading a motorcycle club romance! It was also a learning experience about mental health as the main character had bipolar disorder and it is the main issue/secret throughout the story. I thought everything resolved well and it was a sweet and action packed romance that got through some hard times!
The Book Junkie Reads . . .
Never trust anyone was the way India had to move on through life. She was different and did not want to stand out as beings such. Just getting by day-to-day was a struggle. Her finding a semi-permanent place to lay down roots was a good thing for her. Meeting Haste was not initial a good thing for her. She had to keep things on the low and she was not doing such being notice by him.

Haste was hot, sexy, young, commanding, young and fixed on India. What was it about her? He was not sure but willi

I got this book via a FB exchange based entirely on the cover and was asked only for an honest review. Unfortunately, this book just didn't click for me.

My problem is with the little details that need to be in place if you are going to write a dystopian world book. Glory is set in a time in the world where solar flares has destroyed to world as we know it. The author says more than once that there is no government anymore, no police and the local MC (Glory) is the law. BUT... she has her heroin

So now to the story it was very interesting how Indy and Hastie connected. I was given a free copy for an honest review, MC along Torn Dystonia type society... Romance tossed in.. Lots of action, and well written. Can a bi-polar woman fall for a man who maybe just as crazy as she is? Think Joker and Harley Quinn...
