The third and final book in the 'Harmless' series, 'A Harmless Little Plan' brings everything full circle. All of my questions were finally answered. Finally, we find out who was behind the attacks and what their motivations were.
Yet, despite getting the answers that I craved, I didn't seem to gain any peace. I guess that this was a story where there could be no explanation for what happened that would make it "okay". In that regard, I still feel a bit unsettled.
At the onset of this book, things are looking pretty bleak. Lindsay is again in the grasps of her rapists. Drew has been arrested and is helpless. She's waiting on a rescue that isn't coming.
However, things quickly turn around. Drew immediately implements a plan to save Lindsay. Before long, the story takes on a "Rambo meets porn-star Barbie" feel. Brace yourself for some outlandish and ridiculous plot twists. If you're like me, you'll spend a fair amount of time rolling your eyes and cracking up at the absurdity of this "rescue".
Once the person that has orchestrated their worst nightmares is revealed, I expected the story to wrap up. After all, isn't that what we've been waiting for? Instead, it dragged on for what felt like forever, before finally providing the finale that I wanted at the half-way mark.
Like the earlier books in this series, the storyline in this book could have been better executed. Although, in fairness, I did think that each book showed improvement in that regard. However, there was still a rushed feeling to many of the important parts where I craved for more elaboration and unnecessary time spent on irrelevant details. Major "reveals" seemed overly simplistic and left me thinking, "That's it? After everything, that's what I get?".
After the private moment that we glimpsed between Lindsay's parents in the second book, I was hoping that there was more to them than I had originally suspected. I'm not sure if the author thought about going there, only to change her mind, or what happened.
Regardless, my hopes were without cause. Lindsay's parents proved to be the callous, shallow individuals that they first appeared to be. They have to be near the top of the list for worst "book parents" ever. That's all I'll say about that.
All things considered, this was just an "okay" series for me. It had the potential to be a really great dark story, but it fell flat. There were just too many problems with plot holes and poor execution to win me over entirely. It was alright, but it could have been great.

While the story comes together well in this final book, I felt it was missing something for me. In some ways it felt like the issues were addressed only on the surface level, at least when it comes to our heroes. They experience betrayal but the details are vague. Their resolution feels less like a "want to" and more like a "need to". I really liked where this was going but was left with a lack of fulfillment. Especially without a epilogue to catch us up. I will say that I still enjoyed myself, especially as the pieces were coming together. The plot was not realistic to me but entertaining nonetheless. The characters were interesting, but felt underdeveloped. The writing, pace, and imagery were strong. Really good series overall. Safety: There is rape and abuse. No others for the heroes while they are together. The hero was with others while they were apart.

Book three starts up where book two left off. Things are moving fast now and with Lindsay in danger and Drew being framed. Friends become enemies and old wounds are reopened...
I enjoyed this one slightly less than I did book one and two. The whole mystery that has been building over the course of the first two books is basically wrapped up halfway into this book. And while I did enjoy seeing people get their comeuppance (for the most part. I would have liked to have gotten some sort of retribution for Lindsey from those who lied after the original incident.) After that, the book dragged on a bit for me. I really think this would have played out better over two books instead of three, but that is just my opinion. There were also things mentioned that really never lead anywhere (Anya & Monica?) I also found that the conspiracy stretched believability in its scope, and that had me rolling my eyes a bit.
That aside, I really enjoyed all the twists and turns this story took. It was pretty brutal on occasion and I had NO clue who was behind it all. Lindsey and Drew were both likable characters and there was a nice array of secondary characters that added depth to the overall story. Not much more to say. A great series that enjoyed quite a lot.

book of the series! Virtually every question I had since book 1, A Harmless Little Game, was answered!
This book picked up where the last one left off. Lindsay has been kidnapped by someone impersonating Mark Paulson (Drew’s friend). Through Drew, we realize that the a-holes who assaulted them have her. Drew needs to save her but he’s been locked up on suspicion of stalking/terrorizing Lindsay (set up!) On top of that, he isn’t sure who to trust. Even members from his own team fall under his suspicion in this conspiracy.
I appreciated the way the author used the dual character POV. From one to the next, the story grew more intense and suspenseful. Each POV gave great insight as to what Drew and Lindsay were seeing, thinking and feeling and their perspectives ran almost parallel to each other. I didn’t notice any gaps to the plot or have to question what was going on with each character.
I wasn’t so much impressed with the reason for the attacks on Drew and Lindsay four years ago and at present. I think I pretty much figured it out already. However, I was impressed with how far these evil people were willing to go to further their agendas. I was quite satisfied with how Drew and Lindsay were able to extract justice.
I loved the time the author dedicated to dealing with the aftermath of everything that happened. Drew and Lindsay’s trauma and recovery seemed authentic and it wasn’t rushed or downplayed. My only real disappointment was with the way this series ended. While there was a very sweet HFN, I wanted a real epilogue. I believe that this couple truly deserved one.
Overall, this series was incredible. Be prepared to feel moments anxiety, stress, shock, confusion, joy and good cheer!

5 What a Ride Stars
Well that answers that!!
A perfect ending to a trilogy filled with mystery, suspense, angst, abuse and a great love story.
So as well as giving us all the answers with a big 'bang', this final book has humour mixed through it which I really enjoyed.
I'm still in shock over that scene at Drew's apartment, I mean talk about shit hitting the fan! Thank god for Tiffany, Drew's internet porn star neighbor who saved the day. She was a hoot and in the middle of all that violence it was refreshing.
This trilogy was a thrilling ride and I enjoyed every second.

🌟🌟🌟🌟 STARS .
So A Harmless Little Plan (Harmless, #3) by Meli Raine is the final instalment in this thrilling and addictive trilogy.
This final part is told from both Lindsay and Drew's perspective and we come in where we left off.
Drew is in custody after being fitted up and poor Lindsay is again in the hands of her rapists.
This instalment for me hit the ceiling in realms of ridiculousness in regards to rescue plans, despite the seriousness of the storyline I actually felt like laughing which was highly inappropriate considering it wasn't meant to be humorous at all, I just couldn't help myself, the plot was so tall.
Despite this (it actually added to my enjoyment) I still found A harmless little Plan incredibly engrossing.
This is why I have still rated this so high, I know it was far-fetched in terms of plot but I still kept reading and finished in record time.
I lost count of the number of videos doing the circuit, the one with the masks, the ones without, the one with the guns and without, Lindsay's video, Drews Video geez everyone and their dog had a video but I still loved this completely.
And a quick question how the hell does a certain someone learn how to access the dark web (we find out the identity of Lindsays contact who teaches her this)
really can't see it myself.
So we do get our answers, here but in terms of closure Its one of those morality dilemmas of why?
and this does leave a bit of a sour taste as the why is really for power and fame and money.
no answer or reason at all.
I was happy we went a bit further into the future with Lindsay and Drew as I got a glimpse of the start of there HEA which is still a journey in progress as they both start to heal from there awful pasts.
My favourite part of the whole series was actually at the end when our couple are sitting in bed skyping Lindsay's mum and Dad and Drew actually giggles, yes I kid you not big bad Drew giggles, loved it.
So one last observation before I sign off I would like to award the worlds worst parents of the year award to Lindsays folks, you two are awfully awful, there are just no words to describe your complete and utter selfishness in regards to your daughter especially you Monica you vapid horror.
So its safe to say for me "A harmless little plan" was a satisfying and unintentionally funny hit,
I hope it hits the spot for you also.

No puedo poner en palabras lo que este libro me hizo sentir. Creo que todo lo que diga está demás, ni siquiera sé porque escribo una reseña este libro es de esos que deben ser leídos sin recomendación. Es de los que te sorprenden y te hacen adicta a sus palabras. De los que te envuelven en su historia y te hacen sentir.
Porque oh, Dios... cuanto sentí. :(
La historia continua justo donde el libro de Drew nos deja. Habiendo conocido ya su pasado y el de Lindsay la historia se vuelve más profunda, sentimental y desgarradora.
Pero la tensión y el suspenso están ahí desde la primera página. El amor está implícito y las oscuras aventuras que pasan estos dos son para pararme y aplaudirles.
Es que, QUE PeUTeO valor tienen los dos!!!
Aquí me enamoré de Drew. Su personalidad arrolladora, su dolor, amor y fortaleza. Este hombre es de los que ya no existen, He’s the kind of man who isn’t going away... Y a pesar de haber sufrido tanto el que siga estando ahí para Lindsay es para poner mil corazones en mis ojos. ❤❤❤❤❤
Uffff y de Lindsay no puedo decir nada más que: SORPRESA. Ella es ese tipo de mujeres llenas de fortaleza y vulnerabilidad al mismo tiempo. Lo que le pasó, lo que hizo, lo que vivió y como lo soportó. Bueno, ni siquiera puedo imaginarme que haría yo en su lugar.

Como personajes destacables están Silas y Mark, que aunque con muchas dudas son personajes confiables y entrañables.
Tiffany.... JAJAJAJJAJAJA como me reí con esta mujer!!! No sé cómo lo hizo pero cuando Tiffany entró en escena mi corazón se desgarraba!!!!... mientras moría de risa.
De los villanos. No voy a hablar. No se lo merecen. Y me duele tanto que existan este tipo de personas que ni siquiera puedo explicarlo.
La narración sigue el mismo estilo que los dos libros anteriores, pero en este libro la sentí mucho más emocional, quizás por todo lo que pasa, no sé, eso fue lo que sentí. Pero sin duda sigue teniendo ese ritmo ágil y adictivo de los anteriores.
Si, hay muchos detalles destacables que no me terminaron de llenar. Al 50% era un libro 5 estrellas pero para el final fue decayendo y me encantó un poco menos. Me hubiera gustado un final más extenso y bonito después de tanto sufrimiento y oscuridad. Por cierto, NO ES PARA NADA SEXOSA, por las portadas pensé que sería un libro erótico pero nada más alejado de la realidad. Creo que hubiera sido demasiado jjajaajja

The Story:
This book picks up where the previous one left off. Drew is in jail and Lindsay has been kidnapped. There are plenty of twists and turns to keep the reader occupied and some guessing as to who is involved and how high up the food chain it goes. Lindsay’s mom is still awful with her lack of compassion, but her dad does seem to thaw a bit towards Drew’s presence in her life.
The conclusion of the series fell just a little flat for me but it’s completely my issue and nothing to do with the author’s writing or story.
I was really hoping that this book would go down a path where the tormentors and puppet master had their lives shredded bit by bit by the good guys until they faced absolute and total destruction. I wanted them to suffer 100 times worse than Lindsay and Drew suffered. However, the author wrote it her own way so I can’t deduct any stars just because I wanted to see it play out a bit differently.
The writing was good and the story entertaining, so for that reason I’m giving it 4 stars.

This is the conclusion to one wild, no holds barred, captivating series. I was hooked and read the series in a little more than a day. If you are easily triggered you may want to avoid it as the subject matter is rough. If you aren’t then dive in and hang on for the ride. 5 stars.

The last part of the story disappointed me ... angst was lost, and on the other hand, there were still huge questions left unanswered. Suddenly, HEA was among the heroes, which you really want, but it's still a bitter touch.
But as a whole series, it deserves a score of 4!

All in all, an edgy, suspenseful political series with tons of twists and turns to keep you guessing.
While this wasn't my favourite book in the series, I appreciate how the author ties the story together and ends it all. A job well done.

This trilogy was my first time reading this author. Her writing is impressive, particularly her beautiful descriptions.

Lots of fluff. If that's what you're going for, and you don't want a single sympathetic character with depth, this is a good one. You will not have to think hard, it is short, and there is sex and a happy ending. If you're looking for a clear, believable plot or compelling characters, you will want to keep searching.

A Harmless Little Plan finally brings together all the players that have been trying to destroy Lindsay Bosworth's life. Just to recap, four years ago Lindsay, the daughter of a powerful politician, was brutally raped and beaten by three men she knew. And sitting there watching all of this unfold, was her boyfriend Drew Foster. But as disgusting as this was, the attack was filmed, the video released and went viral. It was edited to look like Lindsay wanted rough sex with these men. For reasons that later unfolded, they were never arrested or prosecuted. It seemed like these monsters never paid for what they did and never will. There are parts of this trilogy that I found hard to read about. Brutal rape and torture scenes are difficult to digest and those scenes stayed with me. They may have been fiction, but they still shocked and sickened me.
This series was well written and planned and executed. It is a romance but it has so much suspense and mystery that it crosses over multiple genres. Once I started it, I had to finish, I had to know what would motivate anyone to do these things, and I had to see if they would pay. These books will keep your attention, while both shocking and riveting you to get the answers you must have!

I have to admit I was a little nervous in reading this book as I had read the previous ones and loved them. I also am the type of person who gets a little anxious when I know a series that I have enjoyed is coming to an end as I start to worry that I might be let down. Unfortunately, I did feel that way with Book #3 A Harmless Little Plan as I loved the previous two but found this one a bit lacking especially when you discover the whole beginning of why the incident in Book #1 happened. I felt that this needed a bit more of an explanation than what was given as I was like -really he did all that and went to all those lengths for that reason - that reason alone. I felt like I was missing a lot more backstory. In Book #3 the guys are back, and they have kidnapped Lindsay once again but this time they are going to finish what they started four years ago and frame Drew for the crime. Of course, Drew is smarter and has a team of men this time around who can help him and who he can rely on. Can Drew and Lindsay finally get their HEA or will they discover that in their lives, they are never destined to get an HEA? The other character I hated now that the series is over was Monica - Lindsay's mom, as just when you think she cares it's all about Politics and the press. I was like Argh, get over it, and I wondered if she had an ulterior motive throughout the books and wondered whether she should be the one running for office and not Lindsay's dad as at least he seemed to have empathy for his daughter. Overall The Harmless series was a good New Adult romantic suspense series. One that I do recommend that everyone read as it does also delve deep into the nasty side of politics and what having great power, wealth and connections can do to a person. It also shows what people will do to stay in the person with power's pockets.

I loved, loved, loved this last book of the series.
So intense and thrilling I was literally hyperventilating throughout Lindsay's rescue. I bow to the author for writing such an awesome trilogy!
Drew had stolen my heart long ago, in the very first book in fact, but he stole my breath in the second and in this one- he stole my soul away. Now I want my own Drew!!
Lindsay - I got no words to describe her. All I do is, bow to her and ask her to give me at least of her strength.
Harry, at last, proved he's not the asshole father who cares about his campaign more than his daughter. Monica on the other side.... I just hope no one gets a mother like her in real life.
Jane and Anya - I felt for them so much. Silas- I want to date him! Mark - I want to read more about you, so I'm going to pick up Homecoming Series next.
John, Stellan & Blaine - ROT IN HELL YOU ASSHOLES!
I felt so connected with each character whether good or bad, I really appreciate author's ability to give such real-like feel to her characters.

Finally, we have the highly-anticipated conclusion to the Harmless trilogy! A Harmless Little Plan was just as fast paced and suspenseful as the first two installments! Book three takes place right where book two left off, so If you haven’t read the first two, you should go and start at the beginning- this trilogy should really be read in order.
While it wasn’t my favorite in the series, AHLP was still a thrilling ride! All questions are finally answered and I enjoyed how everything came together in the end. I recommend this series if you are looking for something fast-paced, intense and full of twists and turns. The Harmless Trilogy will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end!

This series could have been a great dark story but it failed to deliver. It had potentials but the execution was weak. The author left too many plot holes and no explanation of quite some things. All in all it was an ok series. I'm not sorry I've read it but a bit disappointed.

Thrilling romantic story, with some nice "evil plans" to unravel, horrific incidents, many secrets, undying love and very outspoken characters. (don't get me started on the mother)
But it could have been fitted in one book instead of 3.

Oh my. This was at least as suspenseful and thrilling as the other two books if not more. It felt kind of like reading the script of the TV show 24. Haha! There was so much action going on in such a short time which really had me on the edge. Though it wasn't throughout the whole book and the ending brought me down slowly from the high adrenaline rush of the beginning.
The Story:
Lindsay knows what's going to happen to her though she's sure that Drew will come and save her but for now she has to play for time. Drew on the other hand is locked up and worried about Lindsay. He has to get out of jail to save her. He must have to stop the guys wanting to hurt Lindsay and finally stop this deadly game they play. Will Drew be in time to save Lindsay? Will they finally find out who's behind all of this?

The book is in Lindsay's and Drew's POV and I was really glad about this because in the first two books I always wondered what the other one was doing or thinking. Now we got the full experience.
I devoured this book. It was such a quick read that I couldn't put down. It was a great conclusion to this series even though I wished for a bit more at the ending.
Who was behind all of what happened to Lindsay? We know about the three men from four years ago but already in the second book did we notice that there must be people with high influence involved. I just felt a bit let down by the way the bad guys got revealed or not revealed and about their consequences.
Since I'm already mentioning the things that bothered me a bit I have to say that even though I kind of liked the ending it was a bit too open for me. But maybe it's just me. From the first book on I couldn't wait to know how Lindsay will live and deal with everything that'd happened to her and the ending didn't really satisfy me in that matter. Especially regarding her parents and Lindsay's role in her father's career because this was an issue most of the time.
A lot of things that were unclear and left open from the first two books got wrapped up nicely in this one and now I'm kind of sad that it's over, mostly because I'll miss Drew.

This third and final book is a great conclusion to this trilogy. There is plenty of revelations, all your questions are finally answered and you're left with a full and satisfying ending. Drew's harmless little plan to finally save Lindsay and give her real freedom and sanity is one you never saw coming. There is still all the exciting action and drama as the other two books but also a lot of deeper, emotional moments.

Rounding up to 5 stars because it was exciting, had me smile at the end, had me laugh out loud once or twice, was deep/made me think
Damn okay, this book. So what one would think of the climax happens midway through the book & then there's just falling action and the resolution but it's not boring at all, and since this was a trilogy, it's appropriate to wrap loose ends up (not that there were many loose ends).
Omg, I loved Drew. Also, Tiffany, Drew's neighbor who was a sex cam model until her acting career took off (I doubt that it will since she's in her 50s) & a stereotype upon a stereotype (Drew's words) was the hero we didn't know we needed, but the hero we deserved in the form of comedic relief when the whole showdown was going down.
I would have liked to know more about Anya's & Jane's role in the whole thing because it wasn't super clear and sort of glossed over. What the Senator, Lindsay's father, said, which was the last sentence of the book, made me smile & kinda redeemed him a bit in my eyes. I think he did genuinely care about Lindsay. The mom was definitely a worse parent. I wonder how intelligent the dad was, whether I would vote for him or not. I noticed how the author never mentioned which party he was a member of. She never even mentioned Republican versus Democrat. All we know is that Corning was in the same party.
I want more of Lindsay and Drew tbh (don't their names just go so well together too?). Since this is the end of their story, I could have used an Epilogue. Maybe I'll read Mark's story just to get more info on what's happening with Lindsay and Drew in the future, though Mark's story is another suspense and even though this book made me realize that I would like to read more romantic suspense in the future, I think I could use a break right now. That was intense. I read the whole trilogy in about, a little more than a day, with attending 2 college classes too.
God, and I really hope Drew & esp. Lindsay get a break, rest, relax, and recuperate. They really, really deserve it.

I enjoyed this series. It was very different from anything I've ever read and after everything Drew and Lindsay went through, I am so happy for a happy ending for those two. I still cannot stand Monica, Lindsay's mother. What a horrible piece of parenting she is. The dad just seems weak most of the time and I wasn't sure I could trust anyone's motives. Greta trilogy! I will definitely go check out the rest of her books. I already bought them. ;)

The final book in the Harmless series and it. Is. Explosive! Meli wraps everything in a nice little box with a big ass bow on it in this finale. Drew must save Lindsay from her captors and still figure out who set it all in motion. From the very first page it keeps you on edge. Guessing.
Without giving anything away just know it all builds up to a HEA that will make everyone happy.
