A very sweet picture book that my son and I both took to right away. Bud, the fat orange cat narrates the story: "Hi, I'm Bud, this is Gabby. I guess I'm the bossy one. I always get the comfy chair." In spare, simple language he tells us all about his companion, Gabby, the little black and white cat, and how special and talented she is. I'm a sucker for a picture book with cats... But this one has a great story. Bud and Gabby are great friends, but can this friendship survive when Gabby gets sick and has to go to the vet? This one tugs at your heartstrings.

Bud and Gabby are two feline friends who remind me of two my cats, Rusty and Oreo.

This was such a sweet story about friendship between two cats!
It reminded me of two cats that my mother had, a male and a female, who were best friends. Cat lovers will enjoy this.
