I just read "George Lucas: Creator of Star Wars", a biography by Dana Meachen Rau and Christopher Rau. This book captures the life of the iconic filmmaker George Lucas, the maker of the famous "Star Wars" films. It explains how Lucas was drawn to filmmaking and tells of his major motion fails and successes. My favorite part of the book was when Lucas said that creating the first "Star Wars" film was not very fun and extremely exhausting. I was very interested in this part because it surprised me that Lucas didn't have thrills when he was creating one of the most well-known movies in history. I think the Rau duo wrote this book to explain George Lucas' life and his rise to stardom. This book was very informative and descriptive.
I connected with this book because I love "Star Wars" and a lot of Lucas' work, like the "Indiana Jones" films.
I learned a variety of things from the book, like that George Lucas was an average teenager cruising around in his Fiat with his friends. I would definitely recommend this book to whoever respects Lucas' work and whoever wants to learn more about this star. "George Lucas: Creator of Star Wars" is an excellent biography packed with lots of George Lucas info, in a fun and exciting way.

In this biography about the story of the creator of Star Wars was only half completed because it only included half of the movies in detail and took a page to go over the other three movies. George Lucas's success impressed me because he followed his dreams and unlike many other people who fail or give up really exceeded standards. I liked ther.e theme in the book but many portions of the book are in no detail and give you no real emotion is shown. If they had taken there time to go over everything in detail it would be very good but the fact is they simply neglected to acknowledge any of his later life making this book a utter failure in terms of following his life.

It is a great read if you love Star Wars and Indiana jones. I think this book is written for many generations, and the Raus are fun and informative writers.
