Thirty people. Two hours. Only the strong will survive.

When Riddle decides to put on a slave hunt, the Subs Club is on board. Tops hunting bottoms in the woods with paintball guns? Yes. Captives strung up on whipping posts, at the mercy of their captors? Hell yes. But on the morning of the hunt, nothing’s going according to plan. Miles and Drix are at odds over Miles’s rel

There will be some totes random pics/gifs off in here that won't make a lick of sense unless you read the book. Yap! Call me a tease, I can take it.

I hate to break the bad news but... this really did feel like an epilogue.

ugly crying does not help the separation anxiety, in case you were wondering.

Look, I'm not even going to front - I totally got this book for Kamen. Because I love him so much. And he's awesome in this. But, of course, he would be.
’Cause a blowjob is basically just a ballad you sing with the back of your throat.

So, Slave Hunt comes from the POV of Kamen, Dave, Miles, Gould, Maya, Drix, Kel, D, Ryan, and Greg. There's a lot happening, and because there are so many different voices this had the very real possibility of being too much, and while I could have done without c

That’s what this is. An expertly woven blanket, fluffy and worn like the one you always grab for first on a cool autumn eve, with the characters we all love as the threads of friendship, love, forgiveness, vulnerability, anxiety, illumination, and the innate desire to hunt… or be hunted.

I wished for this all along.

I haven't written a review in a long time. It wasn't because the books I found the time to read didn't leave me with thoughts about them I would've liked to express, but because putting those thoughts into words proved to be a more difficult task than I remembered. Even if it was a book I loved reading like I did Slave Hunt. I'm rusty. I kind of just want to thank J.A. Rock for writing another story set in that universe and letting me hav

I think D's POV was my favorite though Ryan's shouty caps POV was definitely the most humorous. He made me lol for real. The set up for this book reminded me of Jet Mykles' last Heaven Sent book that focused on the four couples. Fortunately Rock pulled off the balancing act (of giving the reader enough time to visit with their reading friends but also giving enough plot and new characters (or in this case POVs) to keep things moving and interesting) where Mykles wasn't able to. All the things th ...more

I read the other books in the series and they were a mixed bag for me for different reasons. I bought the bundle and read them and for the most part I kind of enjoyed them because I liked the characters.

This one came out after I finished the bundle but when I read the title and the blurb I had a major WTF?! moment. So, a bunch of people hunt a bunch of other people in the woods to drag them back to whipping posts and it's called a "slave hunt". Right. But, oh, yeah, ok. It's a fun sex thing, so

I don't think I've ever seen a book so lacking in social awareness. Like, I get it, sexy BDSM naughty funtimes.

But the author is aware that slave hunts are a thing that happened right? That slaves were hunted down like dogs, beaten (with whips, amongst other things), and either killed or dragged back to their owners.

Is it safe to assume this book is full of white people and only white people? Because I'm trying to picture asking my friends to participate in something like this, and how much they

In the last two years, I’ve read quite a few stories written to “tie up” the loose ends in a series, and this is by far one of the very best. In fact, it’s so good that I actually rated it higher than most of the other stories in the series. Highly enjoyable and extremely clever in its execution, J.A. Rock wrapped up the series and left me with a memory of the guys of The

I have loved this series since the first book. I've spent most of the books with this look on my face --> 0_0. (oh the things I have learned). But at the core it's been a emotional tale of four friends learning about themselves, dealing with grief and other emotional issues and finding the people that they love.

This story was told by each of the four original guys as well as their partners. While this had the potential to be a mess it wasn't. The story flowed flawlessly and it was great to s

And so the series ends.

And it is an imaginative and creative series with such diverse couples who each have really diverse kinks. I enjoyed this series because there is actually a real story here. A group of friends have to come to terms with the death of a friend at a local sex club. This changes their attitudes towards the Dom/Sub scene and they decide to make it safer by creating the Subs Club. Each episode shows how the friends each find a love of their own that allows them to express their

This was a great end to a great series. When i read the first book of the series, i wasn't sure if I really liked it that much because, although it was discussing important topics, i wasn't sure i wanted to read about all the interpersonal drama and arguments. But, as the series continued, i really fell in love with all of the characters and kamen especially ( he's hilarious). The kinks in the book are very realistically represented also. The books are honest about the risks, rewards, an

Slave Hunt! I can't begin to explain what a happy read this - what I assume is - the last installment of this series was for me. I thought Rock was brilliant to choose this way to give us readers closure. With the addition of Maya & Kel's points of view I was in heaven. Oh how I laughed at what my sweet Kamen did. Dave made me proud, so did Miles, Gould and the rest of the gang.
Maya sums them up, "I love my boys because they were such dumb assholes. I mean, really, they were awesomely stupi

Great ending to the Subs Club! I liked getting all of the different POVs. This book highlighted each character really well. I appreciated this ending!!

*I did not read book#4 in this series. I LOVED Gould after meeting him in book#1 and I personally wanted a different story for him. After reading reviews I decided to skip it and was still really happy with this book and getting Goulds and his partners POVs.

I loved how this was done, showing the distinct voices of all the Subs Club characters. I couldn't keep from bursting out laughing many times while reading this, and there were even a couple of happy tears near the end. What a great ending to the series!

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.

It is a few years after the beginning of The Subs Club and Riddle has decided to run a Slave Hunt. Doms are the hunters, the Subs are the hunted and the winners get gift certificates to a local kink store.

Reading this was an absolute blast. I loved getting to see where each of our couples are now and what issues they were dealing with. We get the points of view of many different characters including Ryan whose point of view

Oh, this was such a fun story! We reconnect with the entire Subs Club series gang for a day of fun and craziness. If you have read the series, it will not surprise you that when all of them get together, there will be insanity and hijinks and lots of humor, but also a lot of heart. Rock gives us a story that is incredibly fun, but also a chance to look in on the relationships these men have with their partners and their friends and see them strengthened over the c

**This only has a minimal BDSM scene in the book, it is not like the other stories in this series**
I was given this book for an honest review by Wicked Reads.

First off, you should not read this story unless you have read the previous books in the series - you won't know the characters or their dynamic without doing so.

This was a fun read. It was a hunt between Doms and subs within their close knit group - it involved pai

Dude!!!! This book was everything for me! I loved every single minute of it, and once I started it I couldn't put it down. I laughed through so many scenes. Gah Kamen is stupidly loved. I freaking loved Ryan's pov in shouty caps. It was a perfect conclusion for them. I even was a little joyed at Gould, Kel, & Greg's scene. Nice seeing a pov for all of them. Dave & D was able to surpass a major milestone! Most of all I looked forward to Miles & Drix. I love them so freaking much. They

What a great ending to this series. I'm glad the guys all got their HEA's, especially Dave and D who made my heart sing at the end of the book, and Myles and Drix who were all kinds of painfully adorable (pun intended). I think JA Rock deserves kudos for making each pairing, each person really, as distinct as their kinks. It's hard enough to make dual POV's work effectively, but to have, like, 9 of them? That shit takes talent. Also, D's field notes were fucking awesome. A must read for f

Loved it. The story was from everyone's POV. What I loved that we got inside their heads and what they were thinking. This made me feel closer to them & understand them a little more. Just can't stand Cinnamon. There just isn't anything about her that is likable. I did feel a little sorry for her in Manties in a Twist but apparently that didn't last long. I wouldn't be upset if we didn't lay eyes on her again. I can't wait for a vac bed scene.
If I am honest, I was disappointed with this book.
I wished it was about our 4 main subbies and not a bunch who I really didn't care about. I didn't read Gould's story as it had an F in it so some of the other subs might have been introduced there.
I think this was an opportunity missed although I did like Miles waffling on as he was tied to the whipping post.
I guess this was the last in the series and at least our subs were all left in a good place.
3.5 rounded up.

Quite enjoyable and some parts are funny enough.
But I got dizzy, too many people and MC in one book. I think it's a reunion, or farewell.
And there's m/f scene. Dang. Not my cuppa. Honestly, skimming through the m/f.

my fave MM book this year. it had everything and was so much fun to read. emotional too in a good way, and not exaggerating like a lot of books this genre can offer.

anyway, with this kind of writing I do wish the author would write bigger books.
