Scaled down to approximately half the size of books in the Look at Me series, this book presents the same illustrations found in the original, with a slightly abridged story, perfectly sized for little hands.

These books offer child-friendly portrayals of baby animals and their mothers, and use simple language to show how the mommy animals keep their babies out of trouble. In Little Chimp, Mom teaches Little Chimp how to swing from trees, gather food, and more. Toddlers will love the pictures and the story, and will be delighted when their own Mommy or Daddy reads it to them.

I think this book is decent but my toddler LOVES it so I'm rating it 5 stars for her.
Her favorite parts are: the shape and size are ideal for her tiny hands, the pages are easy to turn, the pictures are delightful (especially momma snuggles, riding on momma's back, and babies eating fruit), and apparently it's delicious if you chew on it. Sigh.
