Drama, drama, and more freakin' drama!
Seriously, how can one series (and this book specifically) have so much back and forth conflict?! I didn't even know it was possible.
The amount of times Adam and Mia fought, broke up and got back together is too many to remember or even count. It was extremely frustrating! I understand having some conflict but this was just ridiculous. They were so bad at communicating! The whole second book - At Any Turn was based around Mia being distant and hiding someth ...more

Barely read this book. Just kept turning the page to get the gist of what was going on. Were they banging? Were they not banging? (It took so long for them to bang!) Wow! I am totally blown away by this book! First, I'll just say that the first book in this series was one of my favorite books ever. I love Mia and Adam and their unique story. In book 2, I was devastated by Mia's situation and her secrets. Now in book 3, Mia is faced with the most difficult decision a woman could ever face. My heart broke for her and at 5% in, I was already crying and had to take a little break. I don't know what I would've done if I was in her situation. Adam is an amazing ch

Okay. So that was amazing! I'm not even sure what to say. I'm kind of speechless. It was beautiful and painful and heart-wrenching and sexy all at the same time. The way I, as a reader, lived with Mia though her darkest days was expertly handled

“At Any Moment” is a book that will resonate with readers long after the last page is turned.
Sigh. I’ve waited a long time to write this review. I needed to collect my thoughts. It pains me to review this book, because once I do, it’s over. The trilogy telling Adam and Mia’s story is finished. And I’m not ready for that. Yeah, yeah, the author (Brenna, who is super sweet) mentions that they will pop up in the companion spin-off books, but it’s not the same. Better than nothing, though.

I just don't know what to say. .Did this series have potential? Absolutely! But it was grossly exaggerated and had an abundance of unnecessary, drawn out, drama. I understand the idea behind all of it and trying to make it "real" but it ended up being incredibly immature and aggravating. I won't be reading the follow up characters stories since I barely made it through these books and skimmed A LOT!! ...more

What a sad, shitty, depressing series!!
Hey if you're feeling kinda good and need a kick in the nuts you can read this series. This is series is about a couple loving each other but always fighting, breaking up, staying apart to deal with their feelings, and oh yes a whole book of dealing with cancer and going through chemo.
I was so aggravated by the actions and choices of the MCs I almost couldn't finish. The whole book is so depressing (most of the 3 books are) and they only have sex and choos ...more

I have every intention of writing an honest to God full review of this book (and the series) but right now this roller coaster of a series has my brain all scrambled up.

Simply put - I loved this trilogy. These characters and their stories have captivated me and I fell in love with them very quickly.

Too soon? Sorry, had to.
Anywho - go read this. Brenna Aubrey is a fantastic writer and this series is an undervalued gem in the New Adult genre and that is the gospel truth.

Honestly I am not a fan of how this storyline turned out.
It had nothing to do with the original plot and somehow turned into a cancer book, which I normally don´t have anything against but not if the series started out completely different.
I was still annoyed with Mia and Adam and honestly I was done with the story.
I think the book could´ve been an awesome book if it ended after book one cause like I said this had nothing to do with the original storyline.

This is just too depressing. A far cry from the auction where this started. I liked Adam & Mia in the first book. But I just can't continue. I tried but this is draining the life out of me!

Slightly, very slightly, better than book two but it was still blergh. Only continued because I was curious if adam and mia would stop making up obstacles. Spoiler: they didn't but suddenly in the last chapter they were forced by the author to get together anyway

*A big thanks to the author for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review*
*Guia has entered the world of Yondareth*
From the very beginning of Adam and Mia’s journey, this series has been a book after my own geeky heart. AT ANY MOMENT brings the story to a conclusion in ways that you would not have expected it. It’s definitely not how I envisioned the series would play out but it does not make the story any less addicting.

Baggage. We all have it. When we enter into a relationship we all have baggage. Some more than others. The real question that we have to ask ourselves is 'How do I overcome mine and his too or can I?'
Adam and Mia had a very unconventional beginning. Then they had their honeymoon period. Then they had their secrets. And their secrets led to their destruction.... or did it? Now they are dealing with a tragic event that could possibly shatter them forever. But it is how they deal with it, or the la ...more

So I balled yea sad tears, happy tears, moved tears, and even proud tears, At Any Moment was gritty and real. As I mentioned before the ending was HEA but it did not come easily. Being by Mia’s side through the biggest fight of her life was difficult and moving. I admire her character so much because through the agonizing pain she remained a brilliant beam of light in every room. Once she was able to overcome her own stubbornness we were allow ...more

So we've come a long way since the controversial virginity auction. Things between Mia and Adam fell apart in the second book, and slowly get pieced back together in the third. With the cancer storyline, this is a much darker story, and sometimes it was hard to read. It was authentic, and didn't shy away from the hard decisions of treatment or from the effects of chemo. I've come to love these characters, and this book told an integral part of their relationship and the reasons why they behaved

Absolutely was on pins and needles going into this and mostly reading through it. The tension, guilt and love between Adam and Mia was so prevalent that my heart took such a beating. (No pun intended..haha) Rooting for this fabulously geeky couple to get their heads on straight was a no brainer.
I will say the author did a wonderful job with making this story seem realistic with the issues at hand. I felt like I was on this journey with them (like a fly on a wall). This book had its moments wher ...more

I have loved this series although the gaming parts bored me to an extent. Amelia and Adam made me laugh, cry and groan in frustration. This book was intense and made me dread turning each page, hoping they would have their HEA but doubtful that they would make it. Adam was so strong for Mia but they were each so vulnerable. Adam made me weak with the love he showed for Mia. "How could I think when she was every other thought? How could I breathe without her when she was my breath? How could I li

The first 3 books of this series are beyond powerful.
Life hands people problems. Problems with work, finances, family issues and the hardest of all, health issues.
Being in a relationship is hard. Mia and Adams has never been easy. Contracts and money make it difficult from the start, followed by head strong stubborn personalities.
When you throw in life and death situations, it's finding the strength to make it through.

4+ stars ... This was a beautiful conclusion to the gaming the system series. I felt the emotional roller coaster that these two characters went through--the insecurities, the need to wanting to be together, but unable to--it felt real and so close to home. If you enjoyed the Gaming the system so far, I'd say, go ahead and read this as well, because in truth, without this, Gaming the System would feel incomplete.

This book was another very emotional roller coaster ride of a beautiful story. Both characters have drawn so much emotion out of me over the last 3 books, it has given me whiplash.
I went from hating Mia and wanting to punch her in the face in book 2, to feeling sorry for her in book 3. And then wanting to kick Adam in the balls. I was okay with Adams actions in the 1st half of the novel. I would have been disappointed if he had just ran back into Mia's arms a ...more

Reviewing the first three books-
I wanted to LOVE this series. I liked it but it wasn’t a 4-5 star book or series.
The idea of selling her virginity to help her mom and as an FU to patriarchy was a great set up. Who wins it and his history and intentions were also interesting, but the way they interact is problematic throughout the series.....I love you enough to move in with you but will hide a HUGE secret from you, that effects my health and our future....nope. I can’t buy that. The constant on/ ...more
