I picked it up, I went to Jamaica, and it's as advertised. If you still read books, and are not relying on Reddit, this is a quick and thorough way to slog through the details and expectations of smaller countries, where internet goes down frequently, you cannot get service, or your phone dies. Useful with or without a device, I found picking this up a better way to know what to pack, what to expect, what to tip, how long it would take, and was never disappointed.
Despite hurricane damage, the passage of all 20 years, and an ever changing real estate market and eroding beach front, the mainstays of falls, dolphins, beautiful beaches, and (hopefully eternally) enchanting culture, this book holds true to a travel guide, and is the next best thing to the people holding your hand and supporting you as you climb up Dunn's Falls. Bon voyage!

Decent for what it is, but I am so used to the Lonely Planet that the format of this guide threw me off.
