Montgomery Bell craves adventure—the kind that knocks on your door and drags you out by your half-slept-on hair because it can’t wait another second.

The problem is, she still lives thirty minutes away from where she grew up, in college town obsessed with the one thing she hates: football.

It doesn't help that Montgomery wouldn’t know the difference between an interception a

Everything I wanted. I laughed so hard. I couldn't even handle how cute and swoony this book is. KP Haigh is a go to adorable spunky read.
She is perfect.
Baron is perfect.
Monty gets me.
I just, love this book.
This is the fresh feel that has been lacking in my life.

‘Football players and their cheerleader girlfriends sucked, and I was going to take out a restraining order on their kind until the end of forever.’

Mr. Sportsball was an enchantingly fun read from author K.P. Haigh. But then again any book that starts with a girl in a sports bar not paying attention to a game but instead is reading on her kindle has my attention from the beginning.

“Just tryin to win you over, one orgasm at a time.”

When Baron approaches Monty in the bar he doesn’t know what t

If I didn't know any better, I'd say this book was tailor made for me. All my favorite things are tucked right into these pages -- laughter, butterflies, and heat. With a strong, smart heroine, and fiercely loving "nice guy" hero to boot - you guys? Who needs an alpha-hole when you have Baron freaking Richards? That might be one of my favorite things about this book, actually. Nice guys FTW!

This book is like a giant sportsballer hug.

Seriously. Warm and fuzzy, it just feels good. And authentic. I

After reading a book that completely broke my heart. I decided that the best thing for my mental health was reading a book that made me forget the disaster of emotions I had.

Mr. Sportball was that book for me, it made me smile, laugh and blush. It's that book you read to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Easy and solid writing that you end devouring in a couple of hours. It’s a book that end it just feels good, it feels right.

Sports romance has been one of my favorite sub-genres and I love to read about sports and heroines that I can relate to. Mr. Sportsball is one that this bookworm could definitely connect with. KP Haigh has quickly become one of my must watch authors. Her writing style is well developed and her characters are endearing. There are moments of heartache and moments of passion and tooth aching sweetness. Her stories are adorable in the most glorious way.

Baron and Monty are complete opposites but when
Montgomery ‘’Monty” Bell has never lived further than 20 minutes away from her home town even though she dreams of traveling. Monty had never been a sports oriented person. I feeling cemented by a run in with some cheerleaders during high school. Fast forward nine years while Monty waits for her best friend in a local sports bar reading a book a guy sits down across from her. Baron “The Bear” Richardson isn’t just any guy he’s one of the biggest stars in professional football. She has no idea wh ...more

Fun, hot, and kind of dreamy this sports romance will have you glued to your kindle to the very last page. This story was a page turner from page on. To know me is to know I am not the biggest fan of Sports Romance but I think I just might have read a new favorite of mine. Mr. Sports ball is a great read for any sports romance lover. The writing was great, the chemistry between the characters sometimes awkward but that to me was a plus because it meant they were not p

"I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book."

Montgomery “Monty” Bell and Baron “Bear” Richard have very different views about sports.  She hates anything with points and ranking associated them and he’s played sports all his life and now he plays football professionally.

Bear can’t take his eyes off Monty, who was reading a book, at a sportsbar. Bear approaches and strikes up a brief conversation.  Monty not wanting to continue, asks him what’s his favorite sport.  Football, of

Football is my favorite sport in the world. I love reading about how life moves around the players. Being a celebrity is hard, but I think being an athlete is harder. You can't hide in your hometown, you are seen more than you are not. So how is it you can go into a sports bar, find the only girl reading a kindle and she doesn't know who you are. What a great way to start a book. I hate when you start a book and they know who you are and you

I am a huge sports romance fan and this is such a different book than I have read lately. Montgomery and Baron have a unique type of relationship because Montgomery is in no way a fan of football and Baron isn't your average cocky football player.

While waiting for her friend to meet her at the local sports bar, Montgomery pulls out her book and starts reading. I feel her pain because I don't like sports and would have probably done the same. What she doesn't expect is a handsome stranger who wan

Mr. Sportsball is a fun sports romance. When Montgomery Bell meets Baron Richards, it was an unexpected thing, sitting in a sports bar waiting for her friend he was drawn to her. Though on his part the connection was intantaneous, Montgomery has no plans to accept his proposal of a date because of who she has discovered he is, but then she does. And so it begins.

Montgomery is fun and sweet, she's not a sports fan, she's got a past with a bad spot in it with another football player and she doesn

By now you know that I am a huge fan of sports and sport themed books, I mean hello hockey, football, baseball, soccer, you name it and I probably love reading about it if not love it in real life. So I couldn’t wait to start Mr. Sportsball, I wish though that excitement would have continued once I started the book. First off I have to say it because I am from Michigan, I am a huge University Of Michigan fan, have

I loved K.P's first book Only Fools Jump so much that I immediately put her new book on my TBR list immediately and eagerly awaited any morsel of news about this book as it was being written and now upon its release. I have been just getting into sports romance novels and so I thought boom! K.P's writing style plus a sports romance with a complicated hero? Put me in Coach! Put me in! Haha

I loved this book from the laugh out loud dedication up to the very last page. Montgomery is a girl that eve

KP HAIGH has done it again. And I know she will do it again and again. I reached out to KP months back wanting to review “ONLY FOOLS JUMP”. After finishing that book I knew I was a fan of KP. I contacted her to review “MR. SPORTSBALL”, which didn’t at all let me down.

Let me start with KP’s dedication that reads; To every girl who has ever watched a football game and thought, “Damn, I wish I were reading.” This fall I was that girl, literally! My husband took me to my first SEC college football g

Montgomery Bell is a reader, photographer and the one thing she is not is a lover of football. I mean what is really the point. They smell, they think their on top of the world and how is it people even fond the game interesting. Baron Richards is a famous football player and there is more to him than just the game. "I don't think I'm going to be able to think straight until I do."

Guys, mad, crazy, intense book love right here. Which is, we can all agree, the best kind of book love.

This is my first read by K.P. Haigh, although I bought her debut, Only Fools Jump based on the cover and blurb when it released. I'm just...slack. But I am slack no longer, because Mr. Sportsball has made a believer out of me.

Montgomery Bell. The picture in my head is a gawky, green eyed, brown haired introvert that doesn't have the best way with people. While trying to navigate her way through life she chooses the safe way. Always.

And to borrow the description of Baron "Bear" Richards straight from the book he is " one of the star players on Detroit's football team. He's a beast on the field and sex-on-a-friggin-goalpost off it." Yeah, go your face too. (You know you want to!)

K. P. Haigh does it again with Mr. Sportsball! A great plot, writing that flows and a swoon worthy hero come together to make a great read!

Montgomery "Monty" Bell hates sports, especially football and she's not afraid to give her opinion. Her hatred of the sport stems from a humiliating high school experience that she has never been able to let go of. Now, she is a 23 year old photojournalist with a complex and lack of an adventurous side. Then a hot guy approache

I was lucky enough to get this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

Monty doesn't have the best history with football players, yet when Baron comes up to her in a bar while she is waiting for a friend to arrive, she is intrigued. He is a big time football player and celebrity, but she doesn't see that. She doesn't even recognize him. Monty just sees the hottie across the table from her. It is an unlikely match, but they find that they connect more than they could have guessed. She get

Ok so this author is a new author to me and I really have to say I feel like I have found this amazing hidden gem... That although I need to share with the world I feel like I just wanna keep it to myself...

Monty and Baron were this truly amazing couple of characters that I just fell head over heels with..

This book has all those things that I think romance books need from the sexy times to the angst .. But it has this really great element that I think some

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! I freaking LOVED this story. LOVE!

Every emotion felt so real to me. It was easily one of the most relatable books I've ever read. I loved M's journey to finding herself. At the end of the day, that's what this story is about. But it is also more. So much more.

That's just my little tidbit for now. I'll have my full review on release day.

Two people so very different from each other but the connection there is so sweet and romantic. Bear is totally a hot sports star but underneath it all is so much softer and has so much depth than his hard sculpted body gives the impression of. Montgomery is so much fun to read she has these hilarious thoughts and i know lots of readers, myself included will see her quirks and totally relate to them. Very worth a read as this is a different sports romance to what i usually read

I won a copy of this book from a facebook giveaway. I honestly don't think I would have read this book otherwise. The writing was done well, but that's about it. I didn't think the characters were very well developed. And I'm not even sure how the ended up together. They are way too different to be with each other and could of been happier with someone else. It was weird, I've never read a book and hoped the main couple DID NOT end up together.

K.P. Haigh joined the adult world as a project manager. After spending years in spreadsheets, she put her love of blank notebooks to good use and started spinning words into love stories.

In a perfect world, K.P. would have a never-ending supply of coffee, carbs, and sticky notes. She corners the market on ridiculous facial expressions and is happiest when she's cooking for people or making them la
