Norwegians, North Dakota, lefse, and "uff da;" this is my heritage right here.

This is a growing-up story, a grieving story, a learning-to-cope story. There are struggles, arguments, stormy feelings, and resentment towards change.

But there's also growth, and learning, and forgiving; loving gestures and sacrifices.
Simply written and a bit tedious as Tori mourns for her father through the whole story, thinking things that bother her without talking about them to alleviate her fears.
