I like my alternative histories, the idea that if something was done differently or if a certain side won a conflict they originally lost could change the course of history, and how the repercussions of that would echo throughout the ages. The power of a ‘what if?’ story can be quite an eye-opener.

I had such high hopes for this, and, sadly, these hopes were not favorably rewarded. I admit freely I have very little to almost no experience with tabletop wargaming other than buying, painting, and building a few dozen figures for three different games. I haven't actually played any of them (yet). I'd like to, but I haven't yet. Still, this game was appealing mainly for the setting: an Old West game mixed with a tinge of supernatural seems pretty much right up my gaming alley, moreso than ...more
