Fun, quick read. Especially enjoyed the setting as I'm very familiar with the town.

So far it's really pretty cheesy, typical wise-crack-talking female private investigator. But at least the author has LIVED in Mendocino for 20 years so she got the landscape and culture correct. ("If it's yellow let it mellow; if it's brown flush it down." Yes, I have seen these posters around town!) Her in-depth depictions of life in the town is what is keeping me reading it.
