You can dish it but you can't take it. Nothing is truer in this sequel as Monty Banks is dealing with Candy finally getting tired of his cheating ways. She is so over all of the things that he has put her through. They've agreed to be civil parents, if nothing else, but even that proves to be difficult at times. Love may be blossoming for her in the form of an unexpected visitor who is now in Augusta, GA to stay. Mona continually feels that something isn't right with Rico and his baby mama, Monica. She still doesn't trust the witch, but tries very hard to trust her fiance. Even after having their baby, things seem to still unravel as Monica's deceitful ways come into play and the contents in Rico's cell phone continue to cause him trouble. Dee finds herself in a compromising position that causes her to rethink every good thing that she ever believed in love. And once again, Monty finds solace in MiKayla, but will this undetermined love affair be the thing that he truly needs to get over Candy? Things surely heat up in this game of love and war as each relationship bares its ugly truths. The women are finally taking charge of their lives and one thing is for sure; Play Time's Over.
This was the best out of the three that I've read. The dialogue was a bit better, the characters actually came across as having memorized most of their lines. There was still too much label dropping or describing the wardrobe. I'm actually looking forward to the next. Peyton, was a nice addition.
Well damn!!! Playtime is most definitely over! I was saying wow throughout the whole book but the ending took the cake. Monty seemed as if he really hadn't learned his lesson. He may have been doing what was necessary for his business but he continued hurting Candy without a care in the world! Even though he always sorry, his actions showed otherwise. When is Rico going to appreciate what he has with Mona? It was crazy how he would do his dirt only to act as if he had a conscious afterwards. My how texts can always get you into trouble. Dee was straight up crazy. I understood she was hurting but I still think she should've respected whatever Maurice sexual preference was and not go around telling. Monica and Trina both need some help because they're doing the most. I couldn't believe Kina thought she would be building something. I wonder what other information Payton has. Talk about people coming from the dead. Well, well, well MiKayla!!! I truly believe Candy has finally hurt Monty in the worst way and I can't wait to find out how she tries explaining herself.
This book was long and drawn out. I'm getting bored with the series. I will say candy is on some hoe stuff. I don't care how hurt u r two things r off limits friends and family. Even though monty cheated its a code to certain things. So even though her and bren haven't had sex the fact they are spending time together is too much. The fact that she would cause animosity between family shows her true character she's not the innocent person she plays to be. Bren is equally wrong. I don't do that to family. The other thing that bothers me is that all of these characters lack self control. No one is faithful or loyal to each other. Mona talking to her ex, rico sleeping with monica. I hate how the author had Maurice character turn out. I would have liked to see one good dude in the book.
I LIKED CANDY AND MONTY RELATIONSHIP IN THE BEGINNING BUT THAT DUDE IS A DOG AND THINKS HE CAN DO WHATEVER WHENEVER AND TO WHOEVER HE PLEASE. I AM GLAD CANDY MOVED ON AND NOW HE GETS TO FEEL HER PAIN.. CHECKMATE SHE TOLD HIM SHE WOULD GET THE LAST LAUGH BASICALLY. I FEEL SORRY FOR MONA BECAUSE MONICA HAS THE UPPER HAND WHEN IT COMES TO RICO. MAN TIECE THESE DUDES ARE STRAIGHT DOGS BUT MAURICE HAS TO BE THE WORST DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING. GREAT READ I'LL BE LOOKING FOR PART FOUR, I KNOW IT WILL BE GREAT
All I have to say is that this keeps getting better and better.. Tiece I'm so glad I got the books, you wrote this to make it sound like I'm kicking it whit my girls. Love it..... So will Monty loss his mind??? Bren sounds like such a cool dude someone I would want to kick it with, and I love how they are legit business men now. Love all the charters your really made them come to life. Be UPS to you girl!!!!! you're doing your thing on this on. Thanks.. Loving it!!!!!
Some errors but not enough to make me but this book down. Tiece did a great job on this one poor Candy all she wants is to be happy but I don't think Monty is the man to do that. I hope her and Bren get together forget Monty he had his chance he blew it. Mona and her baby daddy I hope she leaves him alone can't wait for the finale. Great book
As always Tiece has done it again. I'm so glad that Candy is trying to move on. Monty is getting a taste of his own medicine! He truly deserves it. I hope Mona and Rico can work things out. I'm soo looking forward to the next part of this saga! Loved it!!!
I absolutely loved this book...... Great Story.... Can't wait until the 4th book comes out to find out what happened between Candy, Monty, and Brendon.....
I am just speechless this book was phenomenal. Tiece has done it again. I have become lost in this series. I do not know how she comes up with this stuff but she is great. I can't wait for part 4 a I don't want to stop reading I need more.
OMG!!! Monty is at a loss for words lol who's the playa now? Where is part 4?? I'm in edge ready to see how this unfolds. Everything's out on the table. Poor Mona a women's instincts always never leads them wrong.
It had been a while since I read the last installment, but once I started reading, everything fell back in place. Storyline remains on point as some of the crew finds out shocking information. Off to read how these situations are handled in next part!
This series get's better each book the suspense was real it is about to go down with all of them mona&rico candy ,monty and his cousin off to part 4 just read the series you won't regret it.
