I thought this was a great book to begin my journey for understanding gifted learners that arrive in my classroom. It had a nice balance of the science behind what makes someone gifted, as well as some ways to implement changes for those students into your curriculum. It doesn't have TONS of ideas for what to change for them, but as a first book it had just enough. Sometimes I find a book full of differentiation strategies to be overwhelming; especially without enough of the "why should I do this?" mixed in. I also felt that many of the means for modifications could be applied to the highest learners in your classroom as well as lowest. I highly recommend this one if you want better insight into how to keep those tippy top learners engaged and happy about learning.
