Would You Sacrifice Everything For True Love?

At twenty-six, I was already a legend. A musical genius with more money than I could spend, and more women than I could I sleep with.
I had everything I wanted, except what I needed.
Until I met you.
You were a simple girl from a very different world.
But we had something in common. We were both lonely, in desperate need of a conn

Love's Composure had me a emotional mess, I am talking gut wrenching ugly tears. It has been awhile to read a story that seems so personal and feel like I am witnessing true passionate love that is three decades of finding love, loss, insecurities, heartbreak and finding yourself.

Emily is a college student and has a chance to audition for one of the world's most famous music producer and composer. That audition does not go as planned but Emily is bright and will take her moment even if it means

3 stars - this was a perfectly fine story, but the writing style or the way the story was told was just not for me. I need a lot more tell and less show - and this story lends itself to large gaps in time and not a lot of background as to how they got there. Don't get me wrong - Emily and Sebastian's story was very emotional, but I never felt I got completely invested in them. I'm definitely going to pick up another story by these authors!! ...more

I almost gave this four stars. Don't get me wrong, the book was amazing. Something I'm coming to expect from this duo. The LOVE of these two people is something that's indescribable. I mean the love story was just beautiful. It was an irrevocable, unbreakable love that transcended time, and space and all the small things. I hated the time jumps though. But, after reading the book, I realized they fit the story. I'll be honest, this is the saddest, most heartbreaking book I've ever read in my lif ...more

I was given this book for an honest review and I am thrilled that I accepted the offer.
This was one of the best love stories I have read. I couldn't put it down as I wanted to see where it went and how it ended.
The story is written in ten year increments. Each of the main characters - Emily and Sebastian - give their POV for a particular event in a separate chapter. This style gives the reader an opportunity to understand where each person is coming from. There are Occasionally chapters by one

Love's Composure would have been a 5 star read for me. I don't want to spoil it so I won't say why, I am sure if you read other reviews you will find out. The book ends at approx 80% and no that's not the reason. It started for me as a beautifully written dual POV love story that was done so intricately that I was able to read this book in a few hours. It spans 30 plus years 2016 -2046. Ms Grey puts an interesting spin what life may be like in 30 years and I sincerely hope on one level - she's c ...more

There were many moments in Emily’s life she had forgotten, but that day 30-years ago would never be one of them. It was the day Emily was supposed to meet her biological mother, but that reunion never took place. Disappointed, angry, lonely, empty and unloved, these were the emotions that she put into playing the violin the day she met Sebastian; not only that, love blossomed. Sebastian’s mother had raised him on her own and sacrificed a lot for him, but she always reminded him that women couldn ...more

This story has left me a crying mess. It is a beautiful second and third chance love story of finding not only your soulmate but also what makes you happy. Get ready to open your heart and keep a box of tissues nearby.

Sebastian Lewis is a musical genius and the hottest producer and composer in the industry. His manager, also his mother, wants him to stay that way. She has instilled in her son that women cannot be trusted.

Emily is finishing up college and plans on returning home to her adaptive

Between every line of this story there is a message. Never take life for granted. This was truly an emotional read and Emily was such a strong woman to endure all the pains she went through. Helping her parents at the winery but always longing to play her music. Sebastian and Emily were inevitably soul mates. They were each other's inspiration ! I received this book as a gift from a great friend and I am so happy that I did. ...more

I've always loved the violin. Always. The richness of its tone, the loneliness yet strange togetherness in the sound of the strings, and it's ability to haunt you. This book was like a violin concerto that spans 40 years...and it will haunt the best possible way.

Sebastian Lewis is a musical dynamo and the world loves him. His fans love him. His agent loves him. His mother loves him (or obsesses over him). But does he love himself? Not really. His life is st

So Disappointed

I cannot believe this was written by the same Authors as "Healing Melody" I loved that book do I was looking forward to this book. What a disappointment. I fell in love with Emily & Sebastian in the first few pages. That was easy. But, I disliked that how the years would pass and we never saw the in between. Come On, after meeting and falling in love at first sight, Emily & Sebastian don't see each other for ten years?? I disliked how the book moved into the future, that us as th

5☆. Wow, this book had a great premise about it and it more than delivered. Whilst writing this review I am still an emotional mess. A lot of books can make me shed a tear or two but with this story I literally sobbed and had to stop several times because I couldn't see through the tears, and I got through a whole pack of tissues. It was so emotional and I felt like I lived every emotion with Sebastian and Emily, all the ups and downs and the happiness and sadness that they felt throughout their ...more

I received this book free as an ARC for my honest review.

This is the 1st book l have read from this author and l enjoyed it immensely. Emily is a violin player nearly graduated from college with a marketing degree. Sebastian is a music producer, composer and player. They meet in the men’s toilet at an audition Sebastian is holding, he encourages Emma to play and she gets the recording contract for the new album he is producing. Sebastian is drawn to Emma and they wind up spending the night toget

Oh my heart! The story of Emily and Sebastian's love was told through several POVs (but mostly by the MCs). The spans 40 years in 4 parts with each part jumping 10 years. While I'm not a fan of putting actual years in book, the story itself had me so invested that I was able to over look my pet peeve.

Throughout the book I was able to laugh, smile, get angry, or annoyed at the characters but at the end I was all tears. The sadness of the end, the beauty of their love story, I ended this book wit

Absolutely amazing. A love story that pulls at your heart.
I was given an ARC copy for my honest review and I fell in love with Em and Sebastian. I was captivated from the beginning, a story of life falling in love, experiencing heart ache, friendship, forgiveness. The life that Em and Sebastian fought for and then knowing thattime always moves on, we love and experience loss throughout our lives and this story takes you along for the ride. I was bawling by the end, it's not a tragic story but it

Sebastian Lewis has been a musical prodigy since he was a small child, who grew up to be the best producer, and composer in the industry by the time he was twenty-six. Although he has more money than he'll ever spend, and any woman he wants to sleep with, he's starting to feel empty. He decides to shake things up by holding a last minute audition for a violinist to play a part on a new album he's producing. He didn't quite think it through well enough, and tons of people came out, so he will hav ...more

This is kind of like a lesser known Nicholas Sparks story for music lovers, which is a very good thing as far as I’m concerned. I absolutely loved the very real way the author discussed the role of music in these characters’ lives and in their relationships. I consider myself quite a music lover and, while I am out of practice, I play several instruments. Music has always been a very big part of my life, and it is refreshing to see that sort of love accurately portrayed in a novel. Personally, t ...more

Sebastian is a Famous musician yes he has won all the awards that can be won and played everywhere he has set his mind to but he feels lonely, he has everything a Man could ever want except love. Emily plays Violin very well but that wasnt what she went to school to Pursue she went for business so she could run their business when they retired. On the worst day of Emily's young life she got the chance of a life time to play and Audition for Sebastian and he was blown away by your performance he ...more

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I don’t know if I like this type of book. I like my books to have an HEA. In my book world, my hero and heroine (and every secondary character) never gets old or die. They have kids and the kids grow up but they remain hale and hearty forever. Of course, this is unrealistic, but hey, this may be the reason I read romantic fiction with HEAs. That being said, this book was really good. I found that I was rooting for Sebastian all the way. I wanted to shake E ...more

This was an interesting story, Emily narrates the story of her life, love and heartache.
Having learned that she was adopted she set out to find her biological mother only to have her mother be a no-show for their meeting. Making her way back home she receives a call from her best friend about a last minute audition for violinists that is being held by Sebastian Lewis, the hottest music producer and composer in the industry. She plans to audition and encourages Emily to do so also. Emily does me

This was a great story and I couldn't put the book down once I started reading.

I loved the comical way that Emily and Sebastian met, with her running into the men's room and that turning into a spontaneous audition. But that encounter sparked a romance that would span the next 30 years, for better or worse. Each portion of the book jumped 10 years into the future, which didn't bother me, but it would have been interesting to see more of the in between.

The story was beautiful. The end of the boo

This is the first time that I've read from Priya Grey and wow...I was amazed by their story of Emily and Sebastian. As I started to read their story...I felt I had to continue on reading to what we happening next.

After Emily auditions for a bathroom...there was a connection. They go their separate ways. Later he invites her to LA...and that's gotta read it to find out!

This book really drew me right into the story from the start. It then captured and held my attention till the very end. The unusual format was interesting - following narratives from one character to the others.

The emotions were excruciating. The sex scenes were beautiful and I laughed - cringed - worried - cried and let all my emotions take over reading Sebastian and Emily's story. Wow!!!!! I really fell in love with everything about this book. So much so I went and bought another two of Priya

A lovely love story

This is a multi purpose love story. Its about love of lovers, family love, love of music, how to stay in love. Is story covers the adult lives of Abby, Sebastian, Samantha, and Emily. Emily and Sebastian have a chance meeting that changes their lives forever. The other characters fit into the story some supportive and others destructive. I was drawn into their story. It was very compelling and realistic. It wasn't all a bed of roses. My only negative observation is the voice o

Wow, what can I say!! This is the first time I have read any of this authors work, and I will certainly be 1-clicking in the future. Emily is a violin player, and Sebastian is a player, composure, and music producer.
This is a beautifully written emotional, second chance love story, which spans over many years. I was captivated from the very beginning, and this is a story which is about friendship, heartbreak, forgiveness, and love. Awesome job

I love dual POVs. It helps me connect with the story and the characters. I want to know what they are feeling and thinking but I couldn't get into the way these characters POVs were written. It felt choppy and stilted. I felt nothing.... No emotions or passion from these two. I was told they felt this way but I didn't feel it. The book was so blah... When the characters had a chance to show passion and fight, all I got was blandness. So boring. Received a copy in exchange for an honest. ...more
