Reva Golaris is a Helios shifter who has lost everything. After her mother and two of her fathers were killed in a brutal attack on New Vega, she has no time to grieve. Her need to avenge their deaths drives her into a killing rage that no one can stop. Not even the one male she has dreamed of giving her heart to…the brother of her enemy.

For years, Lord Malik Rego never thought he would find the one female he wanted to claim as his own, until he met Reva Golaris. The fierce beauty captivated him, but everything changed when he discovered his sister, Quilla, is behind a criminal empire. Malik will bear the shame of his sister’s crimes for all time, but it is impossible to ask for Reva to do the same.

With their future in peril, Malik will have to push Reva away to save her. However, she has other plans that don’t include surrender. During a race across the galaxy, sacrifices will be made, and bonds will be broken. Will their love be strong enough to conquer the stain of betrayal, or will their savage natures be more than they can control?

Revenge is sweet, but vengeance is primal.

This is a review for books 12-14. I have enjoyed these a lot the only thing is sometimes in the books it jumps around and can be a little hard to follow. Otherwise pretty good read.

Oh yeahhhhhh baby, the 3013 world is just getting better and better. Laurie has added yet another awesome addition to it as well. Picked up a couple of spelling and grammatical errors while reading but it didn't detract from the book nor interfered with my enjoyment. One click always gets a work out when I know Laurie is putting a new book out especially when its one that is apart of 3013.

Love this series!

I love the 3013 series. Primal is Reva and Malik's story. The are on the hunt, tracking down Malk's sister Quills. I loved all the places their quest took them, from New Vega, to Earth with a lot of stops in between. Great little check in with a lot of favorite's from the previous books and introduction's to interesting new characters, who's stories I can't wait to real. Loved Reva and Malik's story! Can't wait for the next book.

Malik & Reva

There are some grammatical glitches and so many different characters who all have different powers that much is lost in translation. I still enjoyed the romantical loves that were embodied.

Cant say enough

Reva and Malik's story just has become my bet yet in this series. Lived it. It was sad. It was funny. It was surprising! I recommend this story. But. In order to really enjoy it we have to read all of them. Very well done!!!!

I’m really enjoying this series but in this book Laurie brought in so many of the characters from previous books it was had to keep track of everyone. But I was very disappointed leased with ending Quilla finally.

I adore this series. Now we deal with the species from Tartarus. Amazed at how well they tie all the species and their political woes together with Earth.

My 2nd to least favorite out the 16 books I have from the series ;(

I was soo looking forward to seeing Rego ( Malik) and Reva ,every since I 1st saw the sparks between them where they are introduced to each other when Skyler meets her father Jaden Tor... I loved Jaden's story when her got his mate and I was sure this would be as much fun ;) Yeah, well ( for me at least) I was wrong, soo soo wrong ;( Why ? For me , I found it really, really boring , ok since they'd already been together ( didn't know that before this book) and were both certain they were " fated mates" I'm not sure what else could or needed to happen but this wasn't it... Sure I knew they'd be chasing his sister down, the EVIL WICKED MONSTER that she was, I mean she seemed beyond sick ;( but Sadly that's all that really seemed to happen really was chase after his sister ... How seems to have almost Super Villain status between all the destruction, havoc and chaos she seems to reek and lives she destroys and the way that for just about the whole story she seems to almost a dozen or more steps ahead ;(
Damn that was depressing, but despite that this was supposed to be a " Love story" or "Romance" but honestly it felt like chase crazy monster sister 1st and love or romance along the way,and that can often be the case, their love just always felt like a side note, something that just fell into place as we do what's really important, chase sister.... And Yes,freeing the known universe for her grasp was very important, this was supposed to be a romance 1st and never really felt like one at all really... I saw/met several characters I'd LOVE to see get a story of their own, like a kind hearted D'Aire who lost her "gate keeper" when she was only 12 and he was 24, to young to ever bond or ever really enjoy having found her future mate but mostly I read and read hoping something would change and I'd get to really enjoy and revel in Rego and Reva but that part never can and the time sister was felt w/ story was basically over and nothing but regrets and annoyances for my memories... I also could have lived w/out Rego's brothers Lazio ( sorry if I'm m spelling it wrong) and Darius both obnoxious in their own ways, both inappropriate and whiney, with Darius also being soo negative I was always wanting to slap him , though that not the only reason...
Honestly if I didn't want the series as a whole I'd go delete it now but then again that's the same reason I didn't delete the other one I detest... Read it if you into the series like I am,it's great to catch up see some and see what's going on and to finally end this story line, but if you've Never read the series Please don't start here...

I have loved this series from the start and was delighted when I was offered a free copy for an honest review. This is not a book to read if you have not read any others in the series as it will not make any sense for the first half of the story because it seems as though all the characters from the previous books are active or mentioned in the first few chapters. I had to go back and refresh myself on how many of them fit into this new story. It would have helped to have a glossary of the characters to make it easy to refer back to them.

In this story Reva who is a Helios shifter is after revenge against the person responsible for killing her parents who is also the mastermind behind the kidnapping of women to sold into harems of some of the rich and depraved Tartatus. Malik, Lord Rego of Tartatus. is also out for revenge/redemption to clear his family name and find his sister who is the evil mastermind behind the chaos unleashed on his world and out into the far reaches of space.

I found their personal story to be lovely and heartwarming, through adversity and personal pain, but I found the rest of the story to be too cluttered with crisis after crisis which brought in more characters from past books making the flow of the story quite choppy. Regardless, I love how Reva & Malik got their story and chance at love, I love the humorous cheeky interplay between characters, also the new elements added to these worlds and space stations this is where Laurie shows us how 3013 has become so descriptively beautiful and interesting.

Will I buy the next in the series....YES, was this one my favourite.....No but I did like it.

Rage, betrayal at the deepest level, and sorrow have made their impact to the characters of Reva Golaris and Lord Malik Rego. Malik feels shame and betrayal for what Quilla has done to not only his work of Tartarus, but for the lives that have been lost throughout the galaxy due to her actions. Reva feels shame for not being able to protect her mother and two fathers during Quilla’s escape from New Vega, and now all she can think about is vengeance. Yet when Malik arrives at New Vega, Reva begins to start to feel again, and Malik is determined that he will claim her once and for all. Will these two strong personalities be able to overcome grief and shame while hunting this criminal? Or will the danger that they walk into be the end of them?

3013: PRIMAL was a whole jar full of awesome sauce! Old characters are introduced along the way, and new characters are given more of an introduction. But more than that, PRIMAL brings together two of my favorite characters in the series for their own HEA. I have loved the characters of Reva and Malik since they were introduced, and they make the perfect couple. Dangerous and deadly on their own, but throw them together and they are an unstoppable force. PRIMAL shows the rage and pain that Reva is going through, and also shows the level of honor Malik has since he feels shame for Quilla’s crimes. There is a lot of soul searching in this story and more twists entwined within the plot. I highly recommend this latest installment to the 3013 world!

You know I was never much for reading series, I’ve ran across a few series that I’ve loved. 2013 is one of them. I was all on the first book that came out 3013 Mated and now about 13 books later I still love the series. They catch and captivate you, you come to love the characters as if they were part of your family and like a new baby arrival you’re anxious for the next release. 3013: Primal continued in the footsteps as the books before.

Easy read with detail not being bogged down but flowed well with the story and fit the characters.
4.5
The Characters full bodied, fun as well as exasperating at times. Primal sets the stage for a male that has always thought he’d live his life alone. He’s got a bit of baggage he is sure no female will understand… the sins of family shadows him.

When you’re sassy and have a habit of being in ones face, you need to be able to back it up. This gorgeous helio shifter can more than back it up. When she feels her heart tug she doesn’t fight it..mostly. But you see revenge for her family clouds her thoughts and she knows how the old saying goes revenge is a cold bed fellow.

Scorching scenes, drama and action makes this story a page turner and a great addition to the ongoing series. Oh you could muddle through it without reading the others, but you really want to start from the beginning. Recommend I do, grab it, read it love it. Enjoy

Laurie Roma has written some the best books in the 3013 series, but this one isn't equal to those stand out novels. Riddled with typos, the book is confusing, largely due to the many, many characters who embark on the chase to find and kill long-standing villain Quilla Rego who has wreaked havoc for several books. While I've ready every book in the series (some several times) and am familiar with all of them, even I was overwhelmed in several scenes. Add in the introduction of what will clearly be future heroes and heroines and you have a recipe designed to put this book down, which I did repeatedly. Attempting to wrap up a story arc is always a challenge, but by shifting the focus away from Malik and Reva, characters I adored in other books, meant that this installment felt more like an adventure novel with some romance, rather than a romance novel. I would loved spending the kind of introspective time in each character's head as they wrestled with whatever was holding them back from their mating (Roma's specialty), but it was sadly not to be in this work.

I love this series. The characters and the stories. You have to look around the sex at times to get back to the story, and I would prefer the stories to be a little more in depth. I'm always happy to go back and visit with all these books.

Am not thrilled that the price has gone up on the last couple, but I'll keep reading if they don't get too greedy. As I said, the characters & storyline are great, but the editing is a bit lacks and there are a few continuity issues. Also, one of the authors has dropped out of the group due to creative differences I think... and that bugs me too, because they were all coming up with good stories, so they should have got their shit together and sorted it out.

I liked it a lot (Yay for Reva & Malik having their story). However, there were a lot of editing issues that I have never seen in anything else I've read by Laurie Roma. It may have been due to this being a kindle copy or something, but the glaring errors messed up the flow of the story. There were a few time where I had to re-read the sentence to figure out what she was trying to say and that throws me off. The story itself (ignoring all the errors) is fun, fantastic and all the good stuff I've come to expect from this series.

Great series

I enjoyed this addition to the 3013 series, but wish it had been proofread or had better editing. I had to stop and reread several parts to figure out what the author was saying. The story deserved five stars, but due to the many wrong/misspelled/missing words, I had to deduct a star.

The 3013 series has some really good stories but I think this one is going under favorite! Malik and Reva's story wraps up the story arc involving Malik's sister Quilla, and man, I loved this story! Lots of action, plenty of surprises-Amari was my favorite character in this one, and a mini reunion of previous characters all tied together for one brilliant read!

Not my favorite in the series, a bit disjointed but overall it helps to finish up a protracted storyline.
Nice to see my favorite characters again. Can't wait to see what happens with the new Dragon Warriors.

It was a nice read and if you follow the series you will want to read it.

Great story

I loved this story. The love between reva and Malik was very touching. That was in shocking contrast to the brutality of qwilla.
