Dance With Me, Baby is book four in the Yeah, Baby series by Fiona Davenport.
Declan McGowen lives in New York and is head of Pediatric surgery in the hospital where he works. He hasn’t had a day off in ages so when he finally does, going to the ballet is the last thing he wants to do. But his best friend’s wife dragged him along. Then, he saw her! He couldn’t take his eyes off her, the ballerina with the violet eyes, and he knew that she would be his.
Juliette Moureaux has been working towards this for as long as she can remember. This is her last night in New York and then she is leaving for a four month tour. When Declan approached her at the after party, she felt so drawn to him. She couldn’t say no.

At the end of her tour, Juliette had been feeling under the weather and a Dr. appointment confirmed that she was pregnant. She knew exactly who the father was, the only man she had ever been with, Declan.
True to form, this is a sugary sweet, over the top, insta love, growling alpha hero love story. And I loved it. Declan is a successful, ambitious, highly intelligent doctor but he’s so hilarious when it comes to the woman he wants. I loved that he loved Juliette all the more for her dancing. He didn’t just insist that she marry him and give everything up. He actually loved her all the more for her love of dance.

This series has been so much fun and this one didn’t disappoint. I can’t wait to continue with book five, I’m Yours, Baby.

Declan McGowen is a pediatric surgeon and one hot guy. He's been celibate for two years and knew at first sight that the beautiful ballerina he was watching was his. He found her after the performance and she was as taken with him almost as much as he was taken with her. There was one major problem, she was leaving the next morning for a four-month tour with her dance troupe.
He was going to have to wait until she returned from the extended ballet tour but the wait wasn't easy for either of them. He was so anxious to see her again. He finagles an invite to a welcome home dinner party being held at a local restaurant but there's a bit of confusion. His friend's meddlesome wife who has been trying for many months to set up her friend with Declan has been working overtime to get him to set a time and place. He continues to refuse over and over. Juliette has taken over residence in his heart and there is no room for anyone else. When the friend's wife offers him a chance to go to the party welcoming home the ballet troupe he makes it clear that he would go but he refused to be fixed up. I felt Declan's best friend's very pushy wife was way out of line multiple times! I was a bit disappointed that Dec didn't come right out and tell her he had someone. He wanted to keep it just between Juliet and himself until Juliet made it back home. I was sick to death of this meddling friend and there was no way she could take a hint, not even when he bluntly tells her NO FIX UP...NO BLIND DATE! She wouldn't even abide by Dec's decision when he flat out told her he did not want to go on a date. She sets it up behind his back. She doesn't realize he is already in love with Juliette Moureaux.
But I have to give him credit. He made it very clear to said friend that he would go to the welcome home dinner party but there would be no blind date, period!! It had now gotten to the point his best friend's wife was harassing him and causing these women to be disappointed because Dec never came through for any of the dates. I wouldn't have been able to hold back on telling her off. It is her fault the OW ended up hurt. So when he shows up and is searching for his Juliette the fixed-up gal is there waiting for him and quickly comes up to him and tells him she is his date.
But, Dec realized that his fix up had actually been talking with his true love. He finally sees Juliette and he sees her eyes filled with tears. She takes off. When Dec realizes what has happened he quickly and bluntly tells the OW that he was seeing someone else and didn't want to lead her on. He quickly escapes and finds his woman in the restroom.
The rest of the story was lovely and I highly recommend it! Loved this book and read it every month or so.

3.5 stars. The smutoholic author Fiona Davenport delivered once more a highly enjoyable tale. This sticky-hot, sweet insta-love story and baby-making is a perfect bedtime read. My favorite book in this sexy and romantic series, full of hot alpha males!

Dance With Me, Baby was the perfect complement for the Yeah, Baby series, and my favorite of the these installments.
Declan took one look at Juliette and knew without a doubt she was his, but after spending a torrid and loving night with her, he knows he can’t just demand for her to give up her dream turned to reality of a international ballet tour, so waits for his moment to strike and make her completely his – although in his mind she already is, LOL. What he doesn’t know is that Juliette has a surprise of her own for him, that their only night of passion resulted in an unexpected pregnancy…
I adored this couple, but Declan was absolutely best-book-boyfriend material. His perfect combination of über sexy, dirty talker and devoted and caring was lethal.
“This pussy,” I moaned. “Damn, Juliette. I want to fucking live between your legs. You’re so wet, I could drink from you and never go thirsty.”
But one of the things I loved the most about his character was the way he selflessly didn’t interfere in her artistic accomplishments! Lord knows how difficult that must have been for a true Alpha like him! It just proved to us readers how wonderful and in love he was with her.
Every thrust into her, I released more of my love until we reached the height of ecstasy together. I would have given her everything, all of me, but the truth was, she already had it.
Juliette is a talented ballerina, and the night before leaving for her breakthrough international debut, she met the man of her dreams. After their night together, and even living her life dream she can’t forget him, little did she know that he was just bidding his time to truly get her.
Her character was amazing and strong, with a certain hidden innocence and fragility in her, but sassy when provoked. Their interactions were everything I could have wished for in this read, with scorchingly sex scenes, sweet and loving moments and some funny scenes to complement.
This was a wonderful, steamy, little story – topped up with an amazing epilogue -, the perfect smutty read for the end of your day/night. Guaranted to leave you with a smile on your face and warmth in your heart (and maybe some other parts *wink, wink*) !!!! <3

A quick smutty read with a very lovely epilogue.
The story is about Declan and Juliette.
He's a doctor, the head in Pediatric Surgery. He went to a ballet show unwillingly because of his best friend's pregnant wife.
Juliette is a ballerina and he watched her dance on the stage, so captivated by her.
They had a great night together but she had to leave the next day for her four-month international tour.

This was just an OK read for me. The beginning was really good, but once they got back together after she returned from her international dancing thing, it turned into a SNOOZEFEST of epic proportions. It had a cute epilogue though...so there is that.

This was just about the most perfect story of a love found in an unexpected way! With an unwilling acceptance to the ballet from the pregnant wife of a friend. A total chance encounter.
But is it any wonder with two really amazing people like the celibate hero and the virgin heroine.
They have a one night stand using expired condoms.
He should have known better but deep down he wanted her to have his baby and even says so in his inner monologue.
However, he was a practical guy and wanted to wait until her dance tour is over before baring his soul bare to her.
During the 4 month tour they are both completely faithful.
Awesome plus the epilogue rocked.
It was just so sweet.
Their kids are going be so cute it's sickening. lol not really its just sweetness overload.

It didn't have a "deep" story, but it was only about 100 pages so not much time to get into it.

After reading the Mafia Ties series I have become addicted to Fiona Davenport sassy books. She always delivers what I need to have a good time. *If you know what I mean, LOL*
The moment Declan saw Juliette on his side of the stage, he fell head over heels in love. After a one-night stand Juliette had to leave for her first international tour. Declan knows that he has to let her go but that is not going to stop him to get her back after her 4 months tour. Bur SURPRISE, SURPRISE, she got pregnant from that night and now Declan is determined to make her his. Baby, wedding and all.

Mí humilde opinión:
Regla #4: No caer en una aventura de una noche.
Declan McGowen supo que la hermosa bailarina con ojos violetas era suya en el momento en
que la vio por primera vez.
Él no quiere dejarla ir después de su noche apasionada juntos, pero no tiene otra opción. No cuando su primera gira internacional significa el mundo para ella.
Juliette Moureaux pasó cuatro largos meses soñando con su noche con Declan. Nunca pensó que lo volvería a ver, pero subestimó su necesidad de ella.
Declan la persigue su primera noche de regreso, justo después de descubrir que está embarazada de su bebé.
Dance with me, baby fue una lectura linda sin mucho sucediendo pero con todo era una buena lectura rápida.
Este sí era insta-love con un héroe que me agradó.
Declan es un personaje que aparece brevemente en Baby, Don't go, un médico pediatra. No había quedado muy bien parado en ese libro ya que lo calcan de snob y Jack lo manda de paseo.
Me gustó Declan, dulce y posesivo, que se enamorara tan fuerte de Juliette. Me mató cuando la deja ir a la gira de baile aunque fue duro para él no rogarle que se quedara, que respetara su profesión. Me encantó que él se haga la promesa que la espera de regreso y nunca la dejará ir de nuevo. Eso es amor!
Juliette dudaba todo el tiempo y eso me dejó con la sensación de que no sentía lo mismo por Declan hasta que parece darse cuenta sobre el final de todos los detalles de amor de él y que está enamorada también.
La pareja estuvo bien pero hubiera estado mejor si hubiera acumulación de tensión y persecución por parte del héroe. Le hubiera dado otro ritmo a la historia ya que Juliette y Declan se juntan no bien ella regresa de la gira.
No estuvo mal el librito, dentro de todo es entretenido pero quizás con un poco más de detalle y más capítulos hubiera estado mejor porque me quedé con ganas de conocer a los personajes.
Los epílogos son para comerlos con crema batida, tan dulces!
Seguiré apostando a la serie!

Fast forward 4 months later she finds out she's pregnant, she knows who the baby daddy is and she wants to tell him. But is abit scared since it was a one night thinking he moved on and doesn't care. She puts it off going to tell him tomorrow she has a work event and meets another dancer who goes on and on about a blind date when she spots him she sees its Declan. Shes upset and runs away, he isnt even here for the other woman he knew Juliette would be at the party and he's going to get his girl. Explaining he never dated anyone during the 4 months, and finds out she's carrying his kid.. he goes OTT alpha lol like everyone else in this series he wants a ring on her finger and her moved into his place..
Now i notice the gals in this series really dont fight back once the guys gave a mind set lol atleast fight back tiny bit lol 😂😂😂

I absolutely loved this book. Declan, OMG so swoon worthy, all alpha and loving and protective of Juliette. He was a take charge kind of man and damn if I didn't eat that up. Declan needed Juliette to realize that she was his forever, Once she realized it was not just a one night stand she had a little surprise for Dec and he didn't go running off and he couldn't be more happy with the news. I loved these two together they were so adorable.

This is the fourth book in the Yeah, Baby series by the two talented authors who make up the alias Fiona Davenport and their books are automatic one-clicks for me. Their books are short, steamy novellas that are entertaining as hell and perfect if you want a quick, enjoyable read. Declan McGowen is head of Pediatric Surgery at a New York City hospital, he's very busy and doesn't have time to date in fact it's been over two years since he's had sex. His best friend's very pregnant wife begs him to go to the ballet with them because a friend of hers just joined the ballet company, so reluctantly he agrees but has no desire to be "set up" with her friend. While he's watching the performance he locks eyes with a gorgeous ballerina who completely mesmerizes him and he cannot look away from her. He's never experienced such intense feelings before and that's why when his friend suggests he attend the party afterwards for the cast he agrees hoping his ballerina will be there. Declan walks around the party about to give up hope that he'll find her when he sees her outside on a balcony laughing with friends. When he sees her in such a relaxed setting he's determined to get her alone and see if she feels the same palpable energy between them that he does. Juliette Moureaux is a ballerina for a NYC ballet company and she's about to go on an international tour for four months. When Declan approaches her at the party she remembers the handsome man from the audience that she couldn't stop staring at. She's never felt such a strong attraction to a man so when he asks her to come home with him she agrees but she does tell him first that she'll be leaving the next day for four months. Declan is shocked to discover Juliette is a virgin but is honored to take the treasured gift she offers knowing he will be her first and last. They have a night of mind blowing sex and are to excited to realize the condoms he had were expired. The story skips ahead four months and Juliette is back in NYC at her doctor's office where she's told she's four months pregnant. She's scared to tell Declan thinking it was just a one night stand but he has other plans. Declan waited patiently for four months because he did not want to interfere with her career but now that she's back and carrying his baby he's not letting her out of his sight.

What's better than a doctor? One who falls in insta-love with a ballerina!
This story is so cute. I adored it from the violet eyes of the ballerina and her shy crush to the male character's alpha-male claiming of his woman.
They share overwhelming passion one night, and it produces an unexpected pregnancy that they both welcome wholeheartedly despite barely knowing each other. I found it very sweet that she is unsure of his feelings and wants to be loved, not just an obligation. Also, it was fun to see how adamant he is about her reservations. He's definitely making a life with her.
Beyond the utter sweetness of the story, I enjoyed everything related to ballet, especially when she manages to continue her training adapted to her new state. Very interesting. There is a very funny scene too happening in a cab and with the driver's tip.
I can't say no to this author's little romances. Too good to ignore!

I'm uncountably partial to books that involve dancers in some way. This short fabulous book has a ballerina, a super sexy and possessive man who is determined to make her realize one night was all that was needed to maker her his AND a unexpected baby. Juliette has been waiting what seems like forever for her international ballet tour!
Right before she is set to leave she has a sizzling one night stand with Declan. He knows that she is the one for him, but he can't stand in the wash if her dreams. Luckily he is a patient man and is willing to wait to get what he knows is his. As soon as Juliette returns home he makes his move, much to her surprise. When Declan was invited to the ballet, he couldn't figure a reason to not go. His friends wife determined to set him up, he figured he would get the introduction over with. He never expected Juliette though and they spend one night together before she leaves on tour. She didn't expect to be pregnant and now has to tell the man she spent only one night with she is carrying his baby.
Love a good insta love story, this pne was a bit unusual because there was time separating them. I enjoyed both characters in this one and look forward to more books by this talented author.

Such a adorable story of insta love- baby boom and sweetness between Declan and Juliette.
Our heroine is a ballerina with whom our hero falls in love. Loads of protected expired Condom filled sex- four month and a surprise bump- later- the couple meet again and the previous sparks burst into flames.
Short and lovely. Just what I expect from a FD.
