In the small town of Abbott Creek, mystery is as much a part of daily life as The Sweet Shop's sugar cookies.

Amelia Simpkins may be a great cook, and have a head for business, but sweet treats are out of her league and the owner of the Irish Blessings Cafe says it's because she adds the tart to the Sweet Shop's new dessert that Katie Chupp insists is only filled with lemo

The third book in the Amish Sweet Shop Mysteries is a simple, wholesome story and a brisk read, although not what I consider a mystery. I’ve read many fiction books with much stronger mystery elements that are still classified as fiction; I would classify this book as fiction also. Even after I had finished the book, I had trouble determining what the mystery was. I wrote this review last night and now this morning as I think back I realize that what I thought was the mystery element is probably ...more

LEMON TART MYSTERY is the third book in Ms. Miller's Sweet Shop Mysteries series, and fans will want to read the first two, Blueberry Cupcake Mystery and Christmas Cookie Mystery. These books are light on the mystery (for those who don't like their reading material sprinkled with dead bodies) and heavy on the sweetness and the humor. This book has a few lemony recipes included and one orange one, so if you like citrus-flavored treats, this is your book.

I enjoyed reading this book, and spending

The sweet shop mouthwatering covers do not stop here! All the covers for this series are beautifully designed. This series is a wonderful, heartwarming, sweet cozy read. The author has created wonderful characters that come alive in the pages. In this edition you will see what happens to various relationships -- including one that appeared to be blossoming between between Mrs. Simpkins and Mr. O'Neal. Easy read, great storyline.

Welcome back to the third installment of Amish Shop Mysteries. I am so excited to share my thoughts about this book. It was quite intriguing and I could not stop reading it. We return to the bake shop where Katie and Freida work. I loved how the author described the baking procedures that Katie worked on. I could see her working the dough and adding lemons to make special desserts for customers. The aroma of peanut butter cookies filled the shop. Can you imagine walking in and smelling fresh bre ...more

I enjoyed being back with Katie, Freida, Travis and the rest of the characters in this series. Reading these books makes me want to visit the quaint town of Abbott Creek, especially the bakery and café! The people seem so nice and inviting, and I can just picture myself taking a stroll down the main road saying hi to everyone.

For those of you with a sweet tooth, you are in for a real treat! Included in this story are recipes that I cannot wait to try. In fact, the only reason I haven't made them

The Sweet Shop baker, Katie Chupp, is branching out with new recipes using lemons. Lemon desserts have just the right about of sweetness and tartness, which is an analogy to the lives of the characters in Amish Sweet Shop Mysteries. Amelia Simpkins and Andrew O'Neal had a budding relationship but look out--here comes some tartness in their relationship as the story progresses in Lemon Tart Mystery. Will Katie and Frieda intervene with trying to restore the two or will they face their own "tart" ...more

Lemon Tart Mystery is book three in the Amish Sweet Shop Mysteries by Naomi Miller. This story is full of faith, love, devotion and so much more. The recipes sound wonderful. Characters and a storyline that leaves you wanting more. I received a complimentary copy of this book. This review is my honest opinion. 4 stars!

A Tart Mystery

I love the sweetness and tart taste of lemon desserts and Naomi Miller's book cover for Lemon Tart Mystery makes my mouth water. Blended into this touch of mystery story comes a heaping portion of chaos in the bake shop as two friends sweet on each other begin to have a difference of opinion to put it mildly. Over what is a complete mystery to us all.
Katie Chupp questions where her friendship with Englisher , Travis Davis is heading, while her coworker Frieda would like nothing bet

I believe that Lemon Tart Mystery tells a sweet story about the folks in the Abbott Creek community; not only their faith and forgiveness, but their resolve to help one another.

There are more than enough books to read about murder and mayhem, not to mention vampires and zombies. . . but sometimes we need a sweet story that gives us hope and faith.

The Amish Sweet Shop Mystery series has been compared to the Nancy Drew series, and it’s perfect for young readers, but I’ve heard from many readers —

Lemony delightful

THis is book Three in the Sweet shop Mystery. Another novella.
The relationship between Katie and Travis has been growing. With her Amish and him English, Katie has been fighting these feelings because she wants to stay Amish. A story has been developing with the bakery shop owner Amelia and Andrew o'Neal. This is still developing. Mrs Amelia Simpkins has now decided she needs to take a cruise to get some space. This may be worked out in the next sequel. Katie's friend has been a

This is book three in the Amish Sweet Shop Mystery series. I was happy to read about Katie and Freida and to see that they are still working together at the bakery. Katie and Travis have grown and they have feelings for each other. They are not sure that the other knows so they don't say anything. Katie is Amish and she doesn't want to leave her family or the Amish. Travis is an Englisher and he doesn't want to become Amish. I enjoyed reading this book. I can't wait to read the next book and to ...more

Another sweet addition to what has been a delightful series. This is the third book in the series, but it can be read as a standalone. I do recommend reading the first two books in the series not only to learn more about the characters but also because they are fun reads. I thoroughly enjoyed catching back up with the residents of Abbot Creek and The Sweet Shop. The wonderful characters and story line made for a delightful read, and this is another one from this author that I certainly recommend ...more

Lemon Tart Mystery by Naomi Miller is book 3 of the Amish Sweet Shop Mysteries. I've really enjoyed all three and can't wait for Pumpkin Pie Mystery. Katie and Travis continue their friendship in this installment but they're both fighting stronger feelings. Her being Amish and him English is definitely a problem where love and marriage is concerned. I highly recommend this series. It is such a sweet, faith filled series.

Another wonderful story by Naomi Miller.

With each exceptional installation in Naomi's Amish Sweet Shop Mystery series, we get not only a terrific story, but a wondrous message. We learn more about the characters we've come to love, the town we all wish we lived in and the secrets that lurk beneath the surface of it all.

I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves cozy mysteries, sweet mysteries, Amish anything, bakeries or just a great story.

Lemon Tart Mystery is the third book in Naomi Miller's series Amish Sweet Shop. This story continues the story of Katy Chupp. In this book Katy is busy inventing new recipes using Lemons. I enjoyed this story and will be eager to read the next story to see what will happen next.

I love the characters the author has developed to tell her story and find them likeable. There are many amazing recipes included in this series and they will definetly make the reader want to try them. I also like the Ami

I like these short little books by Naomi Miller. They provide a brief distraction from my day. Plus, you get recipes for yummy treats.
For me, this book felt like a 'middle' book. By that I mean it's a look at characters we know and love as they move through their daily lives. A bit of emotional growth and some confusion as to why two formerly good friends are on the outs. Normal life. The mystery is very light leaving me wanting more.
I will continue to follow the lives of the people in Abbott

A hit
D.J.

I’m allowing Naomi to speak for her book…

After Christmas, with yummy, sweet cookies, I think it’s time to switch to something a bit tart — and that makes me think of Amelia Simpkins.

Amelia has a story to share about her past, but I’m not going to reveal too much about it today. It’s something she’ll be sharing with Katie and the man who has had his eye on her for awhile — Andrew O’Neal.

In the meantime, Katie has a decision to make. What will happen if she gets involved with Travis? Will she be s
