You know how everyone these days seems to want that bad boy with an attitude, the alpha male with a quick tongue and even bigger muscles, the star athlete or rockstar? I love how Kelly writes real characters with real issues. I don't know about you, but I can't say I often come across a bad boy who needs to be reformed or a rockstar who's home on tour. But you know what is a possibility? Stumbling upon a cop with the biggest heart imaginable. I love how real it all felt.

So, long story short,

Wowza! Hooked On Trouble is just the ending of this series I never thought it would be! It's a blend of angst, roller coaster of events, issues and romance so passionate and real. The title of this book has never been more true because I was Hooked On Trouble!

I have been a fan of Kelly Siskind and this series has become my addiction. She does not disappoint, instead she will give you a story worth your sleepless night. In fact, she had me with her words and lines with

This is third in the series and the friend group and much of the main couple's backstory are laid out in prior books. You should probably read the first, at a minimum, if you want to ensure you have all the right emotional details.

I was looking forward to this one because I just love the big, caring guy who works hard to help those he loves. And Raven just drips with cool and that she teaches art at a middle school just slew me. And then I started reading. And it turns out that Raven hated her

I’ve been waiting and wanting Raven and Nico’s story, but I knew that when their beautiful story of what happened between them that night in Aspen finally released, their story would bring the end to the fantastic Over The Top companion series by the awesome author Kelly Siskind. But whatever Siskind has planned next, I will be ready with open arms. Siskind is a talented author that can make me feel her characters, she touches my heart with her laughter-filled stories of heartbreak and

This book definitely lived up to the title! Nico and Raven both have similar family issues. Nico's brother Josh has gotten himself in some hot water and Nico will stop at nothing to clear his name. Raven is on the hunt for her missing sister Rose. She finally finds her and everything should be good but it's not. Rose isn't what she appears to be and Raven feels guilty and wants to help her because that's her sister. Now, I understand where Nico is coming from but him of all people

I have thoroughly enjoyed the Over the Top series and I'm sad to see it come to an end with Hooked on Trouble. But what an ending it is! Raven and Nico's story is the perfect conclusion to this trilogy, it's everything you could want in a contemporary romance.

Nico is my favorite type of hero- strong, protective, compassionate, caring, and best of all vulnerable. He really is a big softy! His loyalty and love for his family is so admirable, they mean everything to him- it's driven him to become

There are some authors who can write, and then there are some authors who can create magic with their words. Kelly Siskind is that magical type, who paints visuals, stirs emotions, and angst and sexiness with a single line or word. Hooked on Trouble was a novel filled with pages and pages of magic that I absolutely adored.

Nico and Raven spent a sensual night in Aspen together a few months back and their paths have crossed again, proving that their chemistry wasn't sparked from the drinks they'd

It feels like I’ve been waiting for FOREVER to get my hands on Raven and Nico’s book. The chemistry between them was intense and I needed to see how they’d work through their issues, and though I knew it would be an angsty read, I did because there was no way it couldn’t be, but holy hell, these two took the cake. Thankfully there was a good dose of sweet, smexy and humor to help balance it out and make Hooked on Trouble a great read.

Wow. This story is completely responsible for my grogginess at work today! Stayed up WAY too late to finish it, because once I got to THAT moment (you'll know it when you get there!) it became impossible to put down the book. Nico and Raven are fabulous characters who leap off the page straight into your heart. A fabulous read!

I grew up reading romance, but it wasn't until recently that my love of the genre was fully rekindled—and I absolutely credit Kelly Siskind for it.

The Over the Top series is sexy as hell, but even more than that, these books capture the emotional vulnerability of falling in love, and all the complications that come with two strong personalities entering into a relationship. They're raw, honest, smart, and fun; basically everything you could possibly ask for from a great romance novel!

Let’s lay the cards on the table.

Nico and Raven were worth the wait.

Yep. Even though I kept looking over my shoulder at them as I read through My Perfect Mistake and A Fine Mess, I’m glad that they waited to tell their story, for a variety of reasons.

1. Kolton and Shay had to go first. There’s a kid involved and unrequited love for them over 2 years wouldn’t have been fair to Jackson. Plus, they are the foundation of the series.
2. Sawyer and Lily had to be next because these two needed each

Title: Hooked On Trouble
Author: Kelly Siskind

4 unexpected stars

For my first taste of what Kelly Siskind has to offer, I couldn't have asked for a better introduction than Hooked On Trouble. It was the kind of read that gave me butterflies in my stomach and had me laughing at some of their antics. The suspense in having Raven search for her lost sister was something that had me at the edge of my seat and I couldn't wait to see what would happen next.

Kelly Siskind is one of my favorite "new-to-me" authors from 2016. My love affair with her books started when I began reading Chasing Crazy on a plane. (Which, if you've read this book, you understand why I feel the need to mention the plane...) I laughed so hard I cried and then I swooned and melted all over the place as the book went on. It only took that one book for me to be totally hooked on Kelly's writing. Since then, I've promptly

Hooked on Trouble is the third and final book in Kelly’s series, Over the Top. And it’s one I have been dying to read.

“To show someone rise, you have to show them fall.”

This is Nico and Raven’s story. And let me tell you, it’s one hell of an emotional ride. Raven has always kept her heart locked up. She doesn’t do feelings and has always been one to put her feelings in little compartments and lock them away forever. Until Nico. Until that one night she gives him a glimpse of who she

Oh lala! Kelly Siskind has written yet another amazing novel with downright sexy and honest characters that will charm your pants off!!! I don't know how she does it but she makes her stories come to life and her characters so endearing that you will think they are your own best friends. I absolutely adore her novels and I think many would agree that she is an author that everyone should have on their TBR. With that being said, I swooned

From the very beginning I was wondering what happened between Raven and Nico that night is Aspen and finally now I know. Sixteen months ago they spent the night together sharing many personal things but then Nico had to leave and she has been avoiding him ever since. Now that she is has moved and is living in the same city she knows she will be seeing a lot more of him.

Nico knows he hurt Raven and she has every right but he will stop at nothing to win her forgiveness in the hopes she will give

Sweet baby Moses in a river basket...

First, off this was the final book in the Over the Top series. Based on couplings between two groups of friends. The characters originally meet in book 1, but book 1 or 2 do not need to be read in order to read book 3. Characters from early books are reintroduced flawlessly and easily (though there are a one or two spoilers, so be prepared if you do skip books 1 & 2).

This is the third book in Kelly Siskind's Over the Top series, and it's a totally satisfying finale. I've been wanting to read Raven and Nico's story since A Perfect Mistake, and Hooked on Trouble certainly delivered. Nico is a giant of a sweetheart, while Raven's compact, but tough. Yet, they fit together perfectly, and their chemistry and heat lights up the page. Loved the cameos from Kolton and Shay, Sawyer and Lily, like seeing old friends again. Kelly has such a way with scorching hot ...more

Hooked on Trouble is the first book that I have ever read from Kelly Siskind, but it definitely won't be my last. I really enjoyed this one and it is always such a great surprise to discover a new author. Though I am new to Kelly Siskind, this is actually the third book in her Over the Top series. I didn't have any problems understanding anything though as this is easily read as a standalone, and I am really excited to go back and read the

Raven has held a grudge against Nico since their night in Aspen 16 months ago. She finally let herself be real with a guy and then he leaves with no warning and she doesn't hear from him again.
Nico knows he screwed up but he has so much going on trying to save his family that he neglects to keep in touch with Raven.
He is now ready to pursue a relationship with Raven if she will give him a chance. He offers to help her find her sister which brings them closer.
Really enjoyed this book. Nico and

From the first two books of Kelly Siskind's Over the Top series, we know that Raven and Nico hit it off in an electric way the first time they met in Aspen. But we also know that since that night, they've barely spoken, even though the electricity continues to fly between them. Now in HOOKED ON TROUBLE, we finally see these two come together at last. But Raven's search for her long-estranged sister will put her at odds with by-the-book cop Nico, a man who will do anything to protect his own ...more

Having now read all three installments in the "Over the Top" series, I’m more convinced than ever that nobody writes meaningful, flesh-and-blood characters like Kelly Siskind. While these are definitely stories about people finding their one true love, even better, they're stories about people finding themselves. Their lives are messy, convoluted, painful, and totally relatable. They make mistakes, like we all do, but by working through their problems they show that you can get

Wow!! This was such a great read!! Hooked on Trouble is the 3rd book in the Over the Top series but can be read as a stand alone. I will be reading the other 2 books ASAP.

Nico & Raven- can I just say HOT! Their chemistry leaps off the page. Their story is one filled with drama but there is a HEA so all is good.

Thank you, Forever Yours!

In case you were wondering, YES, Kelly Siskind ended her Over the Top series on a high note. Not that one could doubt that after reading her previous books, right?

Hooked on Trouble is the story of Nico and Raven, the last couple from the group of three women who met the men of their lives in Aspen. In case you haven’t read the beginning of this story, go check My Perfect Mistake. You won’t regret it.

This review is going to suffer b/c I wasn't able to immerse myself in this book like I normally actually took me an unprecedented week to read, and it had NOTHING to do with the story. But as such, I don't have my thoughts all nicely gathered as I normally do. So bear with me.

I find I'm really loving Ms. Siskind's writing and characters.

I’m so happy I got to change to read and review an ARC for Hooked on Trouble. I’ve been in love with Kelly Siskind’s writing since reading Chasing Crazy almost a year ago, and I was lucky enough to review the previous two books of this series, My Perfect Mistake and A Fine Mess.

I’m a big fan of Kelly’s writing, as you must have gathered by now, so no news there. I think the book has a perfect mix of humour and seriousness, though I have to say that I found this to be the

I've loved Kelly's writing ever since I read My Perfect Mistake and I think I swore it couldn't get better than A Fine Mess, but the author has really outdone herself here!I loved Raven and Nico. These two were so beautiful together!

Oh. My. Lord. I don't even know where to start with this book. It was a roller coaster that had me on a ride of emotions from the very beginning, with number 2. I loved the camaraderie and love that was very evident between Raven and her friends. They were easy to read about, loveC and laugh with, over and over. Lily reminded me most of myself, though I wanted to be more like Raven. Shay was the breath of fresh air that was always ready to back you up or take care of something for you. They were ...more
