I very much enjoyed using this book while studying German. I kept it long since graduating and through several moves because I still enjoy revisiting the stories and still find that the book is a useful resource, especially for the more nuanced forms of the German language.

It seems like most language learning gets to the the difficult grammar and then just kind of stops. This book is about learning the cliches and words to use in specific situations. It has great insight into what mistakes English-speaking learners of German make the most.
