This is a great book for anyone interested in business coaching. It details the essential elements of the coaching relationship and focuses on leadership effectiveness and other important topics, such as the importance of developing a coaching environment.

The book is a collection of articles, some of which I found insightful, some of which were not. As they are written from very different notions about both the role of the executive coach and the process of coaching, the collection might be a bit confusing if you know nothing else about coaching. Some of it is also a bit outdated (e-coaching).

An exceptional resource and compilation of topics within categories and from a wide range of leadership coaches including Leider, Kouzes and Posner, Ulrich, etc. It's not complete without a chapter from Hudson/McLean though!

I am going to try the process Goldsmith outlines for team building without time wasting it seems incredibly practical and he swears it consistently works. I really like how it will add on-going capability building for the team.
