Keieve, the established hairstylist never thought love would find her again. After love knocked her down once, she’d given up on finding the perfect man until she met Malachi. She thought he’d be the one she would settle down with, but her fairytale spins out of control when Malachi’s secret lands on her door step.
Sabrina still hasn’t gotten over her first love. When she moved back to her hometown of Maryland she was looking for a fresh start. She hadn’t planned on running into the man who captured her heart or was she? Their relationship wouldn’t be so complicated if she didn’t have to deal with his baby mama.
Ciara has started her life over fresh and the correct way. After participating in the scandal that nearly ripped her family in two when she stole her sister’s husband, she was back on the right track. With her new center for abused women and children up and running she isn’t necessarily looking for love but maybe its found her. Doc, a very special friend, holds a special place in her heart. He knows about her past and has never judged her. Each passing day their relationship continues to grow, but Ciara isn’t ready to give him what he’s asking for. Will she let her complicated past hold her back or will she take a chance on real love again?

AMAZING!!!
No amount of words can express my love for this book!!!! It was amazing!!!! This books take you through the emotions. I felt like I was walking through the lives of these ppl. I’m so happy everyone got their happy ever after and Mia got what was coming to her. I knew I disliked her the most. I absolutely loveddddddddd this book. Loveddddd it! A million star read I swear!!!

Review
Reading this story made me appreciate my husband more. Just like other relationships we have our ups and downs, but we work it out. Someone should have told Mia that before she made a fool of herself.

Wonderful
I really loved all the ladies (except for Mia of course) and their men. One thing I loved was that this story is so relatable. We as human being always seem to think that the grass is greener on the other side. Sometimes we need to be just happy with what we have. Also we do have to go through heartbreak and separations before we truly find our true love. I would definitely recommend this book. Until next time💛

Inspiratinal
I don't read too many love stories. This book is believable. It has a little bit of everything. Love, friendship, jealousy and empathy. Kia let's herself be literally turned by Eric's lazy ass. She got what she deserved. She lost everything behind a no good ass man. Eric did not change her, she was always who she was. Very good read.

Love shouldn't be complicated but most times it is....
This story deals with the complicated love lives of four friends, Mia, Keieve, Sabrina, and Ciara. Each dealing with different issues with one common theme: no one seems to realize what they have in front of them.
I thoroughly enjoyed this standalone. This was only my second time reading this author's work but I will be going through my list of books to read more from her. She did an excellent job with the development of her characters and executing each characters story. I felt as if I knew each of them. I laughed out loud and shed tears while reading this drama filled read.

Love got complicated
Wow this book was something. Light editing issues however, it was good. I can't believe Mia went out like that. I would've like to know how ciara lost her baby. I'm glad Titan and kieve found love in each other. Sabrina got her happily ever after. Mia got what she deserved in the end.

Keieve,Malachi I thought that he was the one. Sterling is in love with Sabrina. Teriyaki ain't having that. Mia and Titan a cute couple. Mia did that cod Eric. I was glad Sabrina knew the signs. Ciara and Doc . Doc wanted Clara. The twins Kristen and Tristen was a trip. Trent mom Rhonda wanted to change . This book was a good Stand Alone Novel.

When Love Gets Complicated
This read started off slow, but it was a good read. My first by the author. I was excited that they book wasn't filled with King pins, it was like fresh air. These woman are all going through different things when it comes to relationships. Mia hit exactly what she deserved and I loved Keieve! Great standalone!

Love was DEFINITELY Complicated!!
A GREAT read, with a slew of developed characters! Through ALL the lying, betrayal, backstabbing, & deceit that was exposed (with some these women)- ladies kept their friendships and Sisterhood intact! The book flowed seamlessly and I thoroughly Enjoyed the storyline by this author. Definitely.......an 'Awesome' read!!

Love Conquers All
Excellent story and character development. A few errors, but did not take away from the story. A good read that I would recommend to all. There were lessons that everyone can learn from. Look forward to reading more from P. Dotson!

Wow this book had me all in my feelings! I loved everyone except that damn Mia she was just sorry and let a man run her pure crazy. I felt so sorry for them kids...bless them.

Loved it! Really enjoyed the story line and the friends had each other's back. Also, enjoyed seeing Ciara and her sister's from Enough of the Drama in this book and catching up with their lives. Very captivating read.

Once I started reading, I couldn't stop. I'm so happy Sabrina and Keieve got their happy ending. As far as Mia, she got exactly what she deserved. Like they said, Mia has gone from a bored house wife, to jail wife.
