4 "With death, comes life" Stars



This one picks up right where Reign finishes with Jillian and Zeek on the run. Zeek has left everything behind for Jillian but she is having a hard time figuring out if she loves or hates him after everything she has found out. When it comes down to it I can totally understand why it'd be hard to say no to Zeek.

So the first half of this book was a little boring and a lot slower paced as Jillian and Zeek have a lot to sort through. When these to decide to make up, they sure do it right with some smoking hot scenes.

I got all giddy excited when we get to be back amongst some of my favourite MC men at the Devil's Dust clubhouse. Zeek's brother Lip is part of the club but will their past stop Lip and the Devil's from helping them?

So I liked when the action got going in the second half, it bought the thrill back and I really enjoyed all the different characters. The underlying 'coming of age' with Zeek discovering he is a normal person with normal feelings, he just has to learn to cope with those feelings and act accordingly.



Jillian finds her inner 'kickass bitch' right when she needs it the most, this girl has some moves!!!



Even though I didn't love this as much as the first one, I still really enjoyed it. I think the author did a great job of setting up some great foundations for more books to come. I'll be keeping a lookout for them.

MERCY (SIN CITY OUTLAWS #2) starts off right where BOOK #1 ended, her father shot in cold blood, Zeek throwing her in the cruiser and taking off, spoken in dual POV'S (Zeek & Jillian) Leaving the City of Las Vegas behind, they are on the run, both are wanted fugitives.

I went against my brotherhood. I slept with a cop. My club found out and my uncle set me up, made me kill Jillian’s father right in front of her. Then he tried to kill her, and I know he would have tried to kill me, too, so I snatched her and ran.

Who can they trust??

I gave into temptation, I betrayed the code of blue, I fell for a criminal.

Zeek and Jillian both end up in the last place Zeek ever thought he'd go to for help

I knew not to get involved with an outlaw, especially one from the notorious Sin City Outlaws, a president of a motorcycle club.

These two together are like an explosive bomb ready to detonate, the attraction is like lava running through their veins, fireworks exploding..The good girl rookie cop and the big bad wolf of a bikers gang, forbidden attraction. The chemistry between Zeek & Jillian is as off the charts as ever before..



"What are you thinking about?”
I snap from my daydream of throwing gasoline on Zeek’s bike, holding the red gallon of gas above my head and laughing like a mad woman.
"Hmm, what?” I try to play it off.
"Yeah, you, you have this look…it’s disturbing.” I chew my inner cheek, debating on what to say.
Um, I was thinking about burning your bike, maybe your clothes, too. I thought it’d make me feel better about everything…"
I sigh, trying to avoid eye contact because I’m sure he’s bug-eyed.

I hate Zeek, but I love Zeek. Feeling the two is a constant battle. Like Heaven and Hell playing on the same field.



I got mummy problems, and you got daddy issues. No wonder the sex is off the charts.

MY THOUGHTS
I loved the dynamics between these two strong characters, the love, hate aspect of their time together, the battle between wits, the constant bantering, the love hidden under all the hurt and deception..
We're all suckers for books where the bad boy falls for the good girl and this series is no exception, ticked all those taboo boxes..
This series exceeded all my expectations, the dark, the grit, the sexy times, the hot alpha male and the tough as f*ck rookie cop. To say I loved this series is an understatement, these characters were flawless, the storyline was unique, the ending could not have been written better..

Five glowing stars! M.N. Forgy brought her A game. She came, saw and kicked our reading asses. Holy crap this was an exciting steamy read! Bikers and law enforcement mix just about as well as oil and water....they don't! This crafty author brings out the impossible and improbable and leaves me craving more. Better question is what will happen next? There are too many loose ends for this to be the end. God I hope not. Ugh just the thoughts churns my stomach!

I have been patiently waiting for "Mercy" and let me tell you,this book was bigger,badder and a hell of a lot more sexier than the first one. Zeek and Jillian are one couple that I wouldn't want to mess with and the rules no longer apply to them. Will they survive each other? Can a cop and a MC President really have a happily ever after?

"Depending on who you ask, they say love can bring the worst or best out in a person. "

Which am I?

After that horrendous cliffhanger in book one,we know that Zeek and Jillian are on the run. Jillian is being set up for the murder of her father,and Zeek has run out of options so the only way to keep her safe was to run with her.Having no one to trust,they head to his estranged brother's MC to seek help but everything doesn't go as planned. Forced to rearrange their plans,Zeek and Jillian do what has to be done in order for now. But Jillian doesn't trust Zeek. She knew he was a ruthless man before they got together but being on the run has made her really see why he's the President of one of the most feared MC's.

Zeek is willing to do anything to keep Jillian safe. Having a target on their backs has not been an easy thing for them but he will not rest until her innocence is made and he gets his club back from being taken over by his ruthless Uncle Frank. How far is he willing to go to save the woman he loves? You'll just have to read it and find out.

I can honestly say that this story kept me on the edge of my seat. I kept thinking what the hell is going to happen next! I love when there's a ton of action in a story and you come face to face with a showdown. That to me makes the story more interesting and the characters more real. I loved Zeek's determination and his humor for certain situations. I found myself laughing and shaking my head with a smirk on my lips. He was the ultimate BADASS and the way he loved Jillian was such a different side to him that I'm glad to read about.

"Who actually wakes up wanting to find love? It's painful as fuck. I've had bullet wounds hurt less than this shit.

I highly recommend this series if you haven't read them already. It's very different from your normal MC reads which I love but it has the same raw,all consuming grit and angst that we all love.

I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Mercy by M. N. Forgy after the cliffhanger in the first book, Reign.

Mercy should not be read as a stand alone novel. Read Reign first.

Sin City Outlaws MC President, Zeek DeLucca and Las Vegas Sheriff, Jillian Adams have defied their peers, friends, and family. They chose their passion for one another even though it was forbidden. Two very different people on very different sides of the law. The heart wants what it wants.

After an explosive scene in the end of Reign, Zeek and Jillian are on the run. They are wanted for the murder of a Sheriff Lieutenant, Jillian’s stepfather. Their only hope may be one of Zeek’s most personal enemies and a rival MC that has declared war on the Sin City MC. This is the second part in the Sin City Outlaws series. You need to read the first book, which ends with a cliffhanger to be able to read this part. It is the continuation and conclusion of Zeek and Jillian’s story.



After a killer end of the first part, I could not wait to read the second book. And it was worth the waiting. But it all stems from the events of the previous part therefore can not reveal too much.

Zeek and Jillian are on the run. Jillian can't cope with her emotions and situation that she found herself. She loves Zeek and hates him at once. And every day must to look at him because they are in danger and need to hide. They both will have to go through the process in which will be able to put together their not easy relationship. They shouldn't be together, but nothing is able to separate them. They have a long and dangerous road ahead to some peaceful and happy moments.



Lot of emotion, extremely hot scenes and plenty of rough action. It says everything about this story. Zeek is hot and dangerous as hell. He is the true alpha bad boy. And Jillian, also, isn't gentle and soft type of girl. She gives so much as she takes. They are amazing together and have an unbelieveable steaming moments. Their hot scenes are intense and rough. But it can also be romantic. His attention to her and dedication is something incredible.

Although I'll be honest. Compared to other MC romance books, and even forbidden love romances, it will not be the best of them you can ever read. Some of the dangerous moments made me laugh. I don't know whether that was the intention of the author. I think maybe yes, in order to soften constantly tense action. Because we have here constant of raw and dangerous events. But at the end it did not matter, because I so much got to like Zeek and Jillian that it didn't stop me to enjoy their story. At all.



I started it with curiosity and question. How this story can have a happy ending? And it exactly is a very original and with not trivial ending book. But is this really the end? It has great open space for the next books in the series, because there are some unfinished things. So I hope that it will happen, perhaps with the characters of the second plan? Hope so.

It's book for you if you like dangerous MC guys and forbidden relationships. It's violent but not so much dark with this moments when you don't know if you should laugh or be terrified. And has a lot of dirty and rough sexual scenes. Definitely for fans of erotica.

Mercy picks off where it last off in Reign so you would need to read that book first in order to understand why Zeek and Jillian are on the run. As wanted outlaws, Zeek first prerogative is to protect Jillian and help clear her name for a murder that she didn’t commit. But Zeek needs to make Jillian understand him. And that task won’t be as easy as he thought.



Jillian is beyond shock to discover the man she loves killed her father. She should hate Zeek but at the same time she loves him. She wants to despise him but can’t. Like a moth to a flame, she needs him. Wants him. And desires for him. But trust is something that she needs to do. Can Jillian trust Zeek?

“I know you think I’m a piece of shit, a bad guy who doesn’t give a fuck, and you’d be partially right. I am a bad guy; the worst kind. But when it comes to you, I give all the fucks and I would never do something to hurt you, not like that”

While on the run, Zeek informs Jillian of her father’s dirty dealings and his ties to Zeek’s uncle. Jillian is stunned, hurt and torn that the man she idolized and loved could have a secret life. As much as Jillian want to deny and not believe what Zeek told her, she knows that Zeek is telling the truth. As Zeek seek out help from his estranged brother who belongs to a rival MC, Zeek must make a choice. His MC or protect the woman he loves. And Zeek doesn’t need to take long to decide. It will always be Jillian.

Mercy was sinfully hot!!! This book was the perfect conclusion to Zeek and Jillian. It was gritty, violent, raw, and passionate. Nothing about Zeek and Jillian is simple and so their story should be a high adrenaline complex story of love. So if you are looking for a romance that fiery hot, sexy, and addicting then look no further than Zeek and Jillian. Discover why there are no right rules when loving an outlaw.

'Mercy' is the second and last book in M.N. Forgy’s 'Sin City Outlaws' series and picks up right where the first book ended. As the first installment, this one is filled with action, intrigue, suspense and last but not least steam. M.N. Forgy delivered a pretty great conclusion to Zeek and Jillian’s story. I have to say I’ve been anxiously awaiting for this second book in the series since the ending of the first book left me nervous and with my mouth hanging open.

“Mercy is for the weak and because of the world we live in there is no room for weakness. Only the strong fucking survive.”

Jillian never planned to fall for the notorious violent MC President named Zeek. She tried to stay away from him as much as Zeek tried to remind himself that getting involved in a romantic relationship with a rookie with be suicide. The inevitable happened they falling for each other, but every action has consequences.

“He and I may not be good for one another, may be different from every aspect, but it doesn’t fade what I feel for him. If anything, it fuels it.”

Jillian was set up for the murder of her father. She still can’t comprehend some truths she found out. On top of that she has mixed feelings for Zeek. She knows she should hate him, but she can’t deny how much she loves the man who is so forbidden for her. Zeek would do anything for the woman he loves, even abandon his Club and run away with her. He wants her free and save no matter what. Planning to save Jillian and also himself, he is ready to ask his estranged brother for help. Everything gets complicated, so Zeek and Jillian have to stay strong in order to survive.

Which am I?

This second installment was as action-packed as the first one, but steamier which obviously I enjoyed. I enjoyed the intrigue and the suspense. There were times when the story really kept me at the edge of my seat. Once again, Zeek was hot and dangerous. I really enjoyed his character. I loved his determination to protect Jillian no matter what and the way he loved her. Jillian was sweet and gentle and as likeable as our hero.

“The feel of her beating heart against mine, the meaning of her arms pulling me in close, it all means something. It breaks barriers, it broke mine. It made me fade from numb to something more human.”

Their connection was done even better than in the previous installment. I really liked these two together and I loved their sexy times. Intense or sweet, I enjoyed every single one of them. The passion between these two was combustible at times. Loved it!

I wouldn’t have minded the story to be longer and some aspects of the story to be more developed – like the relationship between Zeek and his brother. Overall this was a good read and I’m looking forward to read other books from this author.

After the mother of cliffhangers in Reign , I couldn’t wait for Mercy. I’m so happy MN Forgy wrote the second book so fast and the wait was manageable. Mercy was a perfect ending for the Sin City Outlaws Series. Zeek and Jillian went to hell and back and despite all the bad things that happened, they stayed together, fought the bad guys and got one very unexpected HEA. I LOVED IT!!

I loved this book as much as I loved the first one. All the romance, the sexual tension, the fights between these two amazing characters were awesome. I love how the author could write a book in the bikers genre with such violence without grossing me out. In fact, I was on the edge most of the time, worrying like crazy for these characters that I loved like crazy since book one and hating other characters, that at the end had what they deserved.

In Mercy , Jillian and Zeek are running to save their lives. They had to clear some things out, getting to trust in each other again, get the help from an enemy motorcycle club and the fight the evil ones. And guess what? Despite all the mess, the nearly death situations, everything wound up very well for Zeek and Jillian.

I can’t wait to read more books by MN Forgy. She gain a fan in me! <3

Mercy picks up right after bk1. In true MN Forgy flare, this was a pretty unconventional read with some definite uprising steaks.

I think any reader who’s read this authors works can tell you to predict the unpredictable because you just don’t know where this writer is going to throw you through next.

Zeek and Jullian are wanted people with a bullseye on their backs. Framed for murder, and a tumultuous web soaked in lies, blood, vengeance, and deceit, both characters must dig deep and figure out who they can or cannot trust while unraveling the truth before they are caught by authorities or worse, killed.

Of course, though, for badass alpha Zeek, Jullian’s safety and protection are his number one priorities and he will do anything and take out anyone to make sure of it.

But as for Jullian, can she really lay down everything she’s ever known and ensure herself to the man who goes against every fiber of her being and who’s also killed her father and turned his back on his own club for her?

Tick tok tick tok…time is surely running out for these two.

Readers get ready because once you begin reading, you won’t want to stop!

Mercy was great. After that shocking ending to the first book I could not jump aboard fast enough. I loved how Jillian gave Zeek as good as she gotl! She did not fall at his feet and made him work for it, even in it was to get in her good graces. This was a solid story. I will add that the formatting was really problematic however. The point of view would change out of nowhere with no page break/ POV change. It definitely was confusing and took me out of the story. Overall, I loved this story and loved seeing Zeek and Jillian getting their hea. 4 stars! ~Ratula

M.N. Forgy has once again managed to blow my mind with this one. Zeek and Jillian’s story was epic and timeless. Their love wasn’t ordinary and that’s what made it so perfect.

Mercy showed no mercy what so ever to these characters. There wasn’t a moment they didn’t have to fight against those who wanted to bring them down.

Jillian’s road of self acceptance and learning the truth about her father wasn’t easy for her. Their was hate and love, but love is hard to fight and she soon realizes she can’t hate Zeek. Instead she proves to be badass outlaw in disguise and good cop as well. She’s a resilient and courageous woman who would do anything to protect her man.

Zeek.

He’s been a part of a dark and dangerous world all his life. That’s all he’s ever known and Jillian brought out the light and sun in him. I loved seeing that sensitive side to him. Watching him go through all these different emotions for the very first time with the woman who has become his whole world shows that even villains can show mercy and be redeemed.

He isn’t perfect, but who really wants that?

It’s boring in my opinion. Shrugs.

What to expect while reading?

Well, for one your mind will explode… just go boom. There’s lots of moments full of anticipation and nerve wrecking scenes. Of course there are the hot and sexy moments as well, but my favorite of all were the sweet moments between Zeek and Jillian where he would just hold her close to his chest while simply laying in bed.

This book will take you on a ride, delivering an epic conclusion to Zeek and Jillian’s story!

I've been dying to see what happens with Zeek and Jillian after Reign. Thankfully I didn't have to wait too long to get the rest of their story.

Mercy picks up exactly where Reign left off. I won't recap that just to be safe that it doesn't spoil anything for anyone. Zeek is the President of the Sin City Outlaw MC who fell in love with Jillian, a local Deputy Sheriff. They should have stayed away from each other but they couldn't. Due to dire circumstances, Zeek and Jillian are forced to be on the run. Unfortunately, due to what happens to make them have to run, there is very intense emotional damage between the two of them.

"How can you love and hate someone all at the same time? I love him so much that it fuels my hatred for this man."

Their journey in this conclusion is highly emotional, raw, turbulent and full of angst. Yet, you can't help rooting for them. Of course we want to root for the bad boy outlaw and the good girl Deputy Sheriff. We always want what we can't/shouldn't have.

In my review for Reign, I mentioned that I wanted more grit and assertiveness from Zeek. Well, I certainly got it in Mercy.

"He made this beast, fed this monster for years, and now he's about to see his masterpiece firsthand."

One of my favorite parts is the relationship between Zeek and his brother Lip. We learn a little of their backstory in Reign but we get to know more about their history and we meet Lip for the first time. I absolutely adore Lip and I hope we get his story!

Overall, I've really enjoyed their journey and look forward to more form M.N. Forgy!

Mercy, mercy me.  Holy hell, I thought Reign had all the action, it has nothing on Mercy.  I will admit I may have cussed Ms. Forgy out in my mind more than once when I finished that cliffhanger at the end of Reign, but Mercymakes up for it trust me.  Mercy starts off right where Reign leaves off, with Zeke and Jillian on the run.  Zeke, let me say this, he may be an outlaw and may be this hard ass bastard to other people, but to Jillian he is totally different.  He knows that he has dug his own grave when it comes to Jillian after what happened, but while he may have one foot in it, he still tries to not only earn Jillian’s forgiveness but her love as well.

Now Zeke had my heart in Reign, but now he has my heart, my panties, my soul, my panties.  Yes I am well aware that I said he has my panties twice, cause he is just seriously that fucking hot.  Jillian, while at times I may have wanted to slap her I understood why she was like she was and still loved her anyways.  If this author wrote an entire series about only these two I would read them all in a heartbeat.  I love how they balance each other out. 

I am in love with this series by M.N. Forgy!  I need more books from these dirty, sexy, badass bikers and I need more right this very moment!  I highly recommend not only Reign and Mercy but all of her other books as well, because you may or may not get a glimpse of some of my favorite bikers in her other series!

Yup... Zeke and Jillian are on the run.  Jillian's cop father has just been murdered by Zeke and Jillian is being set up to take the fall.  To Jillian it feels more like a kidnapping since her senses are overloaded having just witnessed her fathers death, and she does not want anything to do with Zeke, yet can't get away.  Zeke is honestly just trying to save her, but where would your mind be in the same situation. You are in love with the man who murdered your father in front of you!  Brain in a blender!!

Zeke's uncle is after them and they are trying to stay one step ahead of that evil man.  This story gets so twisted with shocking reveals that Jillian just can't keep up.  Zeke never leaves her side though and makes sure to break through her walls to save her!

Jillian is currently on the run with Zeek. They end up getting help from an unlikely source. Some very interesting secrets come to light that shake Jillian's and Zeek's world to it's core. Jillian gets a reality check from none other then her mom about her idol. We find out why Zeek and Lip don't get along and it goes much deep then I thought. Then a bomb is drops and it changes everything for Jillian and Zeek.

The book takes off right where the last book ended. Just like the other book this was filled with so much action. It not be a boring book that is to say the least. There was a cringe worthy moment that I think all the ladies will agree with me. It just felt straight up wrong. Other then that moment I enjoyed every moment o this book. They are not you normal couple but they just work together.

Note to the Author: I couldn't help but notice that the way the book ended, should we keep an eye out for another book?

My Mercy Review . . .

It hasn't been that long but I almost forgot how Reign ended.  After refreshing myself I was excited to see if Zeek and Jillian were able to get themselves out of the mess they were in. 


Mercy starts off exactly where Reign ends with Jillian very upset and pissed off.  And deservedly so.  Now Zeek has to keep Jillian safe and at the same time get her to forgive him, which won't be an easy feat with them on polar opposite sides of the law.

I fear for her, 'cause when she's finally done being mad at me I may actually rip her in two with all the pent up possessive energy I'm harboring. 

Jillian is a black and white type of woman.  She knows right from wrong.  But with Zeek he's grey and falls in between everything.  How can she honor or badge and love an outlaw?

"I got mommy problems, and you got daddy issues.  No wonder the sex is off the charts,"

Now that Zeek has chosen Jillian over his club he goes back to the only place he can think of.  Which is the place he's most NOT welcome to.  With one last hope that his real brother will finally come through for him, Zeek pleads his case MC style.

Seeing the Devil's Dust MC, Zeek realizes what his club has been lacking.  Brotherhood and loyalty.  If they survive this, he vows to take back the club and change it to what it always should have been.

"What's a brother for if you can't rely on him to help steal your cop girlfriend back from an insane family member who is part of the Mafia?"

Even though Jillian and Zeek should seem so wrong for each other, they aren't.  Instead they just fit together.  Their chemistry is through the roof and together they have to find a way to balance both of their lives outside of themselves if they want to make it work.

Is this darkest MC book I have read?  NO, but it is still gritty and good.  Will I read more from this series?  Absolutely, and when I have time I also want to read the Devil's Dust series as well.  I wasn't sure how Zeek and Jillian's story was going to end, but I liked the conclusion and we are still left with some unanswered elements that keeps us hooked for more from this series.

PS: It's not the book, it's me, but I've been suffering from a book slump for the past two weeks. It seems no book excites and haunts me.

Summary:
Aftr escaping Zeek's uncle, they leave Vegas. Jillian scream at Z to let her go, that if she goes back they'll understand& wont hurt her. But Zeek knows better tellin her that her police department is dirty& his uncle wants them both dead. She hears on the radio that her& Z are wanted. She cant believe that Z is right. She ignores him, tryin to think of good memories w/ her dad. Their car runs out of gas& they have to starts walkin. J tries to escape, fightin w/ Z. But he wins& cuffs her, not knowing if he can trust her not to run. J is have conflicted emotions b/c she hates Z for killin her dad, but she cant help but love him. They walk till they get to some motel. Z tells her she needs to rest, before they keep headin to LA to meet w/ his bro Lip. They know they cant show their faces b/c people are tryin to find them. So Z pulls his gun out when he spots an elderly couple headin to their room. J begs him not to do this or hurt them. He makes them all head to their room, cuffin J to the bed& makin the elderly couple stay in bed. The elderly man pleads to Z not to hurt them& the women just has a casually convo w/ Z. Both surprised that she isnt scared of him. Z explains to them that he isnt here to hurt them but just need a place to rest for a bit. he uncuffs J, cuffs the couple& heads to the bathroom w/ J. She wants Z but knows she shouldn’t& fights her emotions. Tellin him she shower but not w/ him. He leaves upset, knowing that J shouldn’t be mad at him, b/c her dad was a dirty cop, but doesn’t have the heart to tell her the truth yet. He has been shot& changes the bandage. They get ready for bed while Z lookout.
They wake& steal a van. Headin to Lips club they notice cops are stakin out the place& they cant head in yet. They sleep in the van. J denies her attraction to Z& he cant help it. He gets hard& jerks off right in front of her, tellin her she cant deny he wants her even if she tryin to fight it. They meet w/ Z friend, plannin to stay at his place till the cops leave Lips place. J goes to sleep& Z begins to drink. Tryin to drown out that he left his club& that J hates him but he loves her. When she wakes Z is there& starts tellin her that her dad was dirty. That since the beginning of his career he was in the pocket of the Sin City Outlaws. That when Z was ordered to kill his dad, it was her dad that let it happen. &that when a good cop was tryin to take him down, her dad killed him. J thinks bout some moments when she was younger that didn’t make sense but know are makin sense. She know Z is right but doesn’t want to acknowledge it. She leaves him &goes to the living room. She starts to drink& knows that her dad was a hypocrite. That she shouldn’t shed tears on him anymore. She realizes she doesn’t hate Z b/c he scarified everythin for her& that she loves him more than ever. She realizes she cryin& see's Z watchin her. She goes to him, tellin him to kiss her. He does tellin her he's sorry bout everythin& givin her an out if she wants one. But she doesn’t, she wants to be w/ him no matter the consequences. They fuck on the floor& he ltr takes her to bed. For a week they recover, building their relationship, resting,& eating. Then they head to Lips club.
Once there Z tells her that no matter what happens if somethin goes wrong she has to leave. She relunct but agrees. She knows she never leave but& just says she will. Before Z even makes it to the door Lip& his brother come out. He then realizes the Prez; Bull, is there too. They ask why he's there; since he killed one of their brother last time he was here. He tries to talk to Lip, tellin him he needs help, but doesn’t beg for it. They tackle him, punchin& kickin him. They eventually grab J from the car& Z goes crazy tellin them to not hurt her& let her go. He gives them some info that she's his old lady& that he came to Lip for help b/c their uncle is tryin to kill them. But Lip can't see pass his betrayal of killin his bro& once kidnapping his girl. Z realizes it was a mistake comin to Lip, & when he see's L pointing a gun at him he knows he's gonna die.
Z wakes up in a room disoriented. He feels pain in his abdomen& realize a nurse is talkin to someone that the bullet in his arm got infected& that the bullet in his stomach is all good& that he'll live. But he passes out. He wakes to the men talkin around him& see's J there cryin. He surprised that his bro didn’t kill him. Z tells J that they leavin b/c they wont help them, once they bout to they informed that cops gonna raid them. Bull &Lip tell them to find, takin them to the attack. They hide& hear the cops q's the club askin bout Z& a deputy w/ him. Z realizes that they know J is a cop& may try to hurt her. The floors creak& the cops head toward them. Aftr fightin they take J& cuff Z to a bar. Z tries to escape but cant. A brother escapes& cuts him& Bull lose. Bull demands to know what happening. Z explains to them who J really is& that his uncle tryin to control his club, makin him kill J dad& that why they on the run. He's bout to leave but Bull tells him that he'll get him a bike &a phone. Btu 1st he needs to find out if she still in town or headin to Vegas. Lip offers to drive him to the station to find out. She not in town& Z knows that Frank has her in Vegas. Z& his bro talk bout why he didn’t kill him, but Lip doesn’t give anythin away.
The cop who take J trades her to a diff car. She realizes that she must be given to Frank. She hears names; Cross. She meets Frank,& he tells her that he's gonna kill her but not yet b/c he gonna lure Z out. On the drive she pukes. She tries to fight against the men, but is overcome by sleep. In Vegas she gets sick again& F q's is she prego. They get a test& force her to take it. She finds out that Frank tryin to overthrow the Mafia& is gonna use Z club to do that. She knows that if he does, he's gonna get Z killed. &that if she's prego, F gonna use that against Z. The test comes back positive. She starts to worry b/c she wonders if her& Z can have a normal life, what will happen w/ her career, etc. Z& Lip return to the club& Bull has a bike ready& a phone for him. Bout to leave he gets a call& its Frank. He congratulates Z& sends him a pic of the pregnancy test, tellin him that he's gonna take money from the mafia& give it to him or he's gonna find his girl& bby dead. Z panics& the brother see that. Z explains that J is prego& that his uncle is involved w/ the mafia& that he's using his club to overthrow them. Lip exclaims that he's gonna be an uncle, Bull ask him to give him& his boy a moment. Z realizes that w/ all Bull's club has given him, they a true brotherhood& hopes one day his club will be like the one his bro is in. Z takes time to call Felix lettin him know that Frank has J& that she's prego. They argue bout it he gonna sacrifice everythin for a cop& Z gets made givin him an ultimatum to either leave or stand by him& hangs up. Bull& Lip tell Z that they’ll help him get J back but the money they take from Frank will be their. Z doesn’t care bout the money& agrees.
J is tied up& she hears Cross& Frank talkin. F plans to make an example of Z by killin J so he can get ahold of Z. But Cross convinces him to make Z believe she's dead but keep her alive till she has the bby& than they'll train the bby to be a better leader than Z. In Vegas Z explains to Lip bout the drop of the money, they plan to highjack it& they bond a bit how their dad was not Z's favorite even tho Lip thought that. Felix& the guys call tellin them they in& will follow. Z feels relief b/c F is the only one he can trust. They take the money& call F to meet for the drop. F tells C to go get the money but then shooting starts to happen. J gets scraped by a bullet& falls. Then hears the door open& Z enters w/ his men. J gets unloosed& has adrenaline hit her, she's mad that C threatened her family& wants him dead. She gets a small cross, that’s sharps& stabs him in the chest. Pushin it deeper, once he's not movin& the rush fades, she q's herself on what she did, regretting it a bit. Z pulls her away kissin her, but his demeanor changes when he looks at Frank. He's bout to kill him when F tries to bargain, but gets annoyed& tells Z that C is his actual father. One reason why his mom hated him b/c Z was her mistake. He looks back to Cross but he's gone. Everyone was concentrated on F that C slipped. Lip tells Z he's lyin, but deep down Z believes its true, then he shots him. They leave before the cops come. Lip& Z have a moment that they'll keep in touch esp when he has his bby.
Z takes J to her place, runnin a bath for her. They start talkin bout what they plan to do. She voices that she doesn’t know if she wants to keep the bby& Z tells her to think bout it. Then she asks if he believes what F told him& he does. He promises if Cross is his dad or not he plans to find him& kill him before he hurts her or the bby. He makes love to her. Next day he tells her he's goin to his club to fix everythin his uncle did wrong. She goes to lunch w/ Alessandra, explainin everythin to her.& she tells her that she's gonna keep the bby. She finds out that her dads funeral is that day& goes to it to meet her mom. She's said but still angry bout her dad b/c of all the lies he told. Once everyone leaves her mom spots her tellin her not to cry for her dad b/c he knew what he was doin& he put his fam in danger. Her mom knows what her dad was doin& was angry. J tells her what happened& that she's prego. Her mom is happy& wants to meet him. J is iffy bout it but when her mom ask if he makes her happy& if she believes Z will be a good dad, it doesn’t matter what he has done in the past. She meets Z at home& she tells him she's keepin the bby& that she gonna try to get her job back.
Months ltr J is doin her desk job. She remembers that she had to lie bout what actually happened to her dad to protect Z. She told the cops that it was Cross that killed her dad& there is a search out for him. J is havin twins a boy& girl. She goes home getting dinner ready when Z arrives. Z is happy bout how everythin turned out, but is still worried b/c Cross hasn’t showed up. He & J made a pact that they wouldn't bring their work home, keepin that part of their life separate. Z knows that J is still tryin to catch him at her work. He even wonders what she's do if she ever did catch him. He q's her bout her work. She tells him that she's almost got the man she's lookin for. He smirks knowin she wont catch him..

After a hefty cliffhanger we are given the next adventure for Jillian and Zeek.

And a ride is definitely what we get. Both are on the run from the law and Zeek’s uncle. Each going against their own “clubs”. It is crazy what love can make you do. These two are truly in love. Their differences have brought them together and they are on a path to fight for their lives.

Jillian sees Zeek in what is really his element as an outlaw. She is taken aback at how someone she loves can be this way when facing danger but yet be so different with her. As any person would, she questioned if she can trust him after what he has done. How could she not? I was conflicted just reading it. It came to a point that Jillian just had to woman up and realize that she would have to get her hands dirty to save her life and Zeek’s. This woman is strong and fights with all that she has. You go girl!

“I just need time to process everything before I go climbing back on Cock-a-saurus Rex.”

Zeek is on true edge. Each move he has to make right so that they make it out alive. Which means that he has to make a few decisions that he does not want to. The main one seeking help from his brother. The journey that gets them there is filled with looking over his shoulder and just making it to his Brother. That is right, he seeks help from the long lost brother that despises him. Obviously, they did not get the warmest of welcomes. Ya know, gunshots, punches, kicks, such fun! Pride blooms for him when he sees that Jillian is fighting not for herself but him.

“Our attraction was a mistake from the beginning, when that desire grew into love it became punishing.

The love and attraction for these two is still so apparent. It is what keeps them going.
They want that peace and safety for each other. There is also no shortage of Zeek and his oh so glorious dirty mouth and his skills that he bestows upon Jillian. Lucky, lucky girl!

“You have no need to be jealous, baby. You're the one I'm going to be with at night, you're the one I love, and you're the one I'm about to fuck.”


Both have things to lose and neither are use to this feeling.

There was a game of tennis between them with will they stay alive, what will happen next and the main volley was is this worth it. So much is going on from one page to the next. Whether it was fighting for their lives from others, fighting for their love or just simply being. I was on the edge of my seat cheering for these two so that their passionate love for each other made it through.

After the whopper of a cliffhanger we were left off with in book #1, I’ll be honest and say I have been less than patient. Please make sure you have read the first book in the Sin City Outlaws series prior to reading this review, it can contain spoilers.

Ms. Forgy picks up Mercy right where she left readers at the end of Reign with Zeek and Jillian running from the law and from Zeek’s uncle. Let me just say this was one heck of a ride. Emotions are running high and trust is shattered. This book and the characters will have you hooked. It is full of grit, angst, turmoil, drama and plenty biker love to keep you going to very last page. I found that Mercy was darker and way hotter than Reign.

Jillian is a mess in this book, she no longer trust’s Zeek and rightfully so, she just witnessed him murder a man in cold blood. She knew being with an outlaw was trouble, but to witness this firsthand puts him in a different light in her eyes. One that was cold and dark.

Zeek is a different man, ok sort of. He is still cold, rough and an outlaw but the difference is Jillian. Zeek is not willing to let any harm come to her. He is willing to do anything to keep her safe, even seeking help from his estranged brother and sworn enemies. He is in utter turmoil witnessing the devastation and distrust brewing within Jillian and wants to make amends. He is a force of nature, one that will not rest until he gives Jillian the peace she deserves.

There was so much inner turmoil between these characters. Zeek for once was nervous and scared of what he could lose. Something a man of his stature never felt before. He had a determination unlike we never saw in the first book. It was not easy for him to seek the help of his sworn enemies but for Jillian he risked it all.

They both had to ask themselves if their love was worth it with all the conflict and drama they were facing. Before the two can find their HEA there were demons to be slayed, an MC to get back at, a brother and the Devils Dust MC to win over and for the law to catch the right guy! Talk about no pressure. There was so much action in this book, it just would not stop. My heart was constantly racing and my panties needed to get changed just as much. Zeek and Jillian’s story was perfect. I was so happy to see them grow in this book. We see a different side to Zeek that I loved. One where he is not afraid to show his love for Jillian all the while still being a bad ass. If you have not read this series you seriously need to pick it up. I am really hoping this is series isn’t over yet. I am waiting to see what else this author will bring to the table for the Sin City Outlaw MC.

Zeek and Jillian….ugh, one of my favorite book couples ever! They are explosively hot together!! I have fallen in love with this series and I loved the way it ended! It’s intense and edgy, and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! I love all of M.N.’s book and this is no exception!! Great job!
