Edited by Michelle McCann this is a book of 25 short stories for kids. It is probably intended for teachers, etc. who are very politically correct and into “diversity” so the stories come across as somewhat preachy. Raccoons Tooth written and illustrated by Nancy Coffelt.com is one of the stories that is worth a look.

Such an excellent collection of original stories & illustrations from kids -- there's literally something for every young reader here! And it couldn't benefit a better cause.

As someone who volunteered for SMART (Start Making A Reader Today) before- helping kids with their reading skills by either reading to them or having them read to me- and has gotten to known some if not most of the contributors to this collection, I'm glad I finally read it.
