A Souvenir Guide: Giant's Causeway

"Science and Nature in a fabled place.."
The word "Giant" doesn't quite cover it. The Giant's Causeway is far bigger than its collection of 40,000 columns suggests. While it's size is undeniably impressive, there are others much larger. The true stature of the Giant's Causeway comes from the wonder and folklore it has inspired over hundreds of years, from the staggering scenery of the present day.
Within this guide, explore a mythical landscape, forged by the power of nature and made into the stuff of legend by the people. Learn how it was formed, how it shaped the lives of local peoples and inspired others to create. Discover a wild environment, where animals of all kinds survive and thrive. There is much more to this place than just stone.

The Giant's Causeway, near Belfast, Ireland, is an amazing creation; one of God's wonders and I enjoyed seeing it and then reading all about its myth and creation.
