How To Trump SJWs: Using Alinsky’s ‘Rules for Radicals’ Against Liberals

Are you tired of how pushy liberals have become with their agenda? Are you scared of losing your job for saying something construed as “sexist” or “Islamophobic”? Do you have to hide facts you've researched from friends and family for fear of being called a “racist”?

There’s a name for Left-wing activists who use bullying tactics to force others into submission: social justice warriors. They’re mainly found on college campuses, but as we saw with Bernie Sanders’ campaign in the 2016 Democratic primary, they’re trying to take their ideas mainstream.

Social justice warriors, or SJWs, advocate for “hate speech” laws, rules against “microaggressions” in schools, and diversity programs at the workplace. All of these are part of a deliberate agenda to take over institutions and eventually the government itself — an agenda that started back with Communists.

"How to Trump SJWs" takes a step-by-step look at Saul Alinsky’s 13 “Rules for Radicals,” the textbook of Left-wing agitation that was admired by both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Welles examines how liberal SJWs use techniques like ridicule, calling out hypocrisy, and keeping constant pressure on their opponents — and gives tips on how you can use these tactics against them, with plenty of examples from Donald Trump.

Are you a Christian who’s tired of liberals quoting Bible verses at you and demanding you change your opinion? That’s just Alinsky’s fourth rule, calling out hypocrisy. Are you frustrated by how conservatives are portrayed as ignorant, low-information voters and rednecks? That just Alinsky’s fifth rule, ridicule.

In "How to Trump SJWs" you'll find out how to recognize Left-wing tactics when they’re used against you, and how to fight back! The current insanity carried out by SJWs is just a final attempt to grab power since the Left knows it’s about to be defeated. As a conservative, you’re too close to winning to stop the battle now.

Welles misunderstands that Alinsky's tenets are not value free. Alinsky saw the crux of a winning coalition for positive change to be the mutual interests of the have-a-little-want-mores and the have-nots. Welles wants to apply Alinsky tactics to persuading the middle class to see its interests with the ruling class, not the poor. Thus he concentrates on social media age prattle in order to make young reactionaries feel like they are the cutting edge. Yuck. Welles, don't call Saul, he won't take your call or the misuse of his analysis. Bad, sad book. Yuck

Perfect Reading for Conservatives!

Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals has brought on a lot of social unrest in our society. This book offers wonderful suggestions for ways to reverse that trend. Important for anyone who is serious about real social justice. The leftists need to be called out for what they are-- messengers of hate!

An excellent, short book on how to use Alinkskyite tactics against the Left. Donald Trump outdid other Republicans because he knew both how to communicate with the man on the street and how to come out fighting against the Left. If conservatives want to win, rather than simply take the high road, they need to go and do likewise.

Hadn't even finished the book yet and I was able to shut an internet troll down

I had only read the book about halfway when I had the opportunity to use what I had already learned to call out a facebook friend's hypocrisy when she praised the suggestion of violence as a viable means to combat the evil violent "Nazis". Calmly using solid logic and reasoning with my friend apparently struck a nerve with another of her friends who saw fit to run interference by vehemently defending our friend (who didn't need any help as we were just having a friendly discussion). By respectfully taking the argument to its logical conclusion with the tools I learned in this book I was able to evoke a palpably defeated "Wow...just wow. Yeah I'm out." after only two exchanges. She walked away without me resorting to (or allowing her to resort to) insults or name calling or a lengthy back and forth dialogue. I then continued my discussion with my friend and was able to make her understand my side of the issue.

Before I read this book I could already hold my own in a debate but after learning the underhanded tactics that the left consistently and unfailingly employs as this book outlines, I am much better prepared and more confident in my prowess. A must read for anyone who wants to understand the mind of the SJW and what makes them tick.

This is an example of Conservatives misunderstanding Liberals, more specifically, that the methodology used to fight in an asymmetric engagement for human rights (and against institutional inertia) generates methodologies that are not value-free; as such, it is impossible to "turn the playbook" against the people it was meant to empower, because its premise is leveling the playing field, in stead of mere leverage. Still, strategies, like mutations, can result in unusual interactions, putting the above idea to the test, especially when conflict is not deescalated, but taken out of proportionality (proportionality being a value that Jonathan Heidt would group under "fairness", which is an area of intersection between classical Conservative and classical Liberal positions. Still, this caveat is definition-dependent, and depends on whether equality of opportunity or of outcome is the metric for fairness) A counter-reactionist, anticipatory framework can not be fully utilized unless a set of value-laden principles is being misused, that much is true; and if the author generates predictions that turn out to be true, that position must be examined as viable. (that indoctrination and virtue-signaling are the motivating factor for at least some activists, rather than actual fairness) In this context, it may be more optimal to discuss how maximizing moral urgency and creating networks with too many nodes (which generates corporate profits, as network value rises with increased membership) leads to overwhelming the mind due to greatly exceeding Dunbar's number how many people we have the resources to feel connected to, before we feel overwhelmed, which number fluctuates at current around 150. It may be noted that such a hysteresis curve can lead to self-radicalization, and that can be further aided by echo chambers which can lead to intolerance of any views not overlapping with one's own. Media bias should further be discussed in detail, and those three factors together as antithetical to social capital and unit cohesion are probably the answer the author should seek in stead of this "use their rules against them".

Use this information!

I was born shortly after 1950. I read "Steal This Book" when it was first published. I enjoyed the humor, considered the possibilities, and noticed the disconnected logic. Until I accidentally, really, read "Rules For Revolution" I had no concept of the enormity of the propagation of that illogical concept. Now my feeling is augmented with this explanation. Good hunting!

Alinsky, you magnificent b*****d! I've read your G*****ned book!

Like General Patton, the best way to defeat an enemy is to understand his tactics. The best way to understand his tactics is to read what he has written. In this book, Man on Welles has read Rules for Radicals" and applies those tactics to the SJW's. I found the book very interesting.

Very interesting

After reading this book one cannot understand what is so clearly before our eyes can be so blindly allowed. Without a doubt the current politicians in office, any office need to be replaced. Sad state of affairs.

So - definitely not my usual read, but if like me you are confused af by what's going on in today's political landscape, it offers a valuable perspective - especially if like me you're a left leaning coastal liberal.

You can read this in an hour or less - I would also recommend reading the Alinsky book upon which this is based.
