I received this from goodreads giveaways. At first, I thought it was just a bunch of pictures, which are in their own right gorgeous. In addition, though, this book has woven the stories of oaxacan people like the beautiful huipils (and people) pictured. From El Mago to the grandmother carrying on he stories of her community, this book has touched me far more than I thought it would.
