Lmao I finally decided to finish this.

3.5 stars.

This book is slow and requires a lot of patience and I don't have that kind of patience. I'm bored and waiting for some spicy action to happen, but nothing interesting is happening for me. I'm tired of Anna and Stephen and this book is too long and I JUST CAN'T READ ON. I'd like to go further into detail, but like spoilers????

Interesting.
It is not what I was expecting, but I liked it. It is different.

I am glad I read this series. Very little happens in each book, and yet it evolves. The developvent goes slowly and in a monotonous way, but this is a good thing. In fact, that sameness, that repetitiveness is what diferenciates it from other books. It gives the series its own personality, you come to expect the routine and it is gratifying.

I can't deny either that I am conflicted morally about t

Need is the second instalment in Stephan and Brianna’s story with Brianna taking yet more baby steps down the road to recovery.

In Slave, Stephan had rescued Brianna from enforced and brutal sexual slavery and taken her to live at his apartment. Slowly, through tender loving care from Stephan, she’s managed to move on from absolute terror of him to trusting him and feeling safe with him. Slave ends with Stephan explaining to Brianna that he ‘bought’ her to rescue her and that she is f

This series continues to blow me away. The story of Stephan and Brianna is so heartbreakingly beautiful. I am completely captivated with this unorthodox love story. I dove right into this book after reading book 1 and am already deep into book 3. I wasn't sure how I would respond to this series, since it isn't the usual dark romance/erotica. I was worried it would be boring or would fail to grab my attention. I couldn't have been more wrong. I love this story!

As a side note, I'm list

First off, I have a confession to make: My favorite part of the first book was the way that Brianna would kneel when Stephan came into the room and call him Master. Like Stephan, I hated how she got to that point and she needed to stop doing it if she was going to make another step toward normalcy, so I am glad that she was no longer doing it but...

Anyway, enough about me...

He was my lifeline, and I was pretty sure he always would be. There was no place I felt safer than when he held me in his arms like this. Sometimes I just wanted to stay here, in his chair, and never leave. The outside world could melt away, and I wouldn’t care...

When it came to Stephan, I always felt lost and then found at the same time..

His touch make me feel alive....
His voice soothing me...
I need to touch him...to feel him...
I need him like the air....
I breathe him to live
All I wanted was to make him happy...
He was everything to me..
He was my only calm....
I trust him more than anyone else...
And I’d do anything for him....

Need picks up immediately after Slave ends. We are still watching Brianna come to terms with her past (and, in my opinion, present) imprisonment.

There is not much I can or would add as a review for Need. I would refer you to my review of Slave. The story progressed slowly in this second installment as Brianna moved in an achingly gradual manner toward psychological and physical healing. I still believe Brianna to be the heart a

Need is the second installment in the Finding Anna series and, let me tell you, if you liked the journey started in Slave you'll fall in love with this.

I started Need right after Slave, where we were left with Stephan having just told Brianna that he didn't buy her in order to have a slave and that she's free. After everything, Brianna can finally choose what to do with her life... keep living with Stephan, the only man she actually trust, or leaving him, even if she's still trying t

I was fully prepared to give this book 2 or possibly even 3 stars, even though about 50% of it was originally posted online as a Twilight fanfiction called Finding Bella. I more or less expected this, when I requested the ARC, but I wanted to see what the author had done with this story.

Until I got to the end and the cliffhanger with which I was left.

Seriously??? SERIOUSLY??????

I realize this book is the second one in what's advertised as a 4-part series,

This is my non spoilery review. I'll release a more spoilery one closer to the release date.

In her past, if Brianna didn't address her owner as "Master", she would be beaten. If she didn't kneel for him, she would be beaten. Even the tiniest of mistakes would land her in an unimaginable amount of pain. Her past will always haunt her. Even though she feels safe with Stephan, if she feels as though she has even a toe out of line, the torture she endured will always creep back into her mind. Now, she's no

I am totally hooked on this series! Sherri Hayes can’t write these fast enough for me. How long do I have to wait until the third one? And YES, there is going to be a third one or I will personally picket Ms. Haye’s house until she writes it! You have been warned Ms. Hayes!

I’m going with a 3.5 on the second book of the Finding Anna series. Mostly because it came up short for me with the expectations that I had for the story. For those of you who loved the first book I believe you have a very good shot at loving this book. I only really liked the first book and I was hoping for this book to take a specific direction that did not happen for me.

I’ll start with what the Slave lovers will like about this book. Need is the story of what will happen when Anna

I have been dying to tell you all about this incredible book by Sherri Hayes. When I read Sherri Hayes first book in this series, I thought about how she was actually going to top Slave.
But Sherri Hayes did just that in Need.

Need continues the story of Brianna, a girl that was held captive for several months till Stephen saves her. In the first story we get to see him save her and bring her back home with him and start the process of healing. In Need we get to see her grow and start

Awesome, Sherri Hayes! Stephan and Brianna move forward to heal the emotional damage wrought in months of slavery at the hands of Ian Pierce. As trust and patience build so does the sexual tension! This second installment of the Finding Anna series is just as satisfying as the first and leaves you hungry for more....and I will be waiting for more from Sherri Hayes. A new must buy author for me!

Thank you to the publisher for graciously providing this ARC!

Need picks up exactly where we left it. The story continues as Brianna and Stephan continue to work toward the seemingly daunting task of healing Brianna.
After the 10 months of torture and rape at the hands of a sadistic Master Ian, Brianna is learning to find herself again. It's a slow slow process that once again exposes the extent of Brianna's trauma. It is a heartbreaking and frustrating process that reveals Stephan's complete and utter devotion to her.

This is book two in the 'Finding Anna' series and I enjoyed this one as much as I did the first one.

In this installment we find Anna coming to terms with the fact that she is no longer a slave and that she is indeed a free woman. This is a very difficult journey for her but Stephen is right by her side every step of the way. Stephen finds himself having fallen in love with the beautiful Anna.

This book is all about these two learning to live, love and grow together. As I said before

Wow! Well I just had to jump on this one straight after release because I took a gamble on Slave last week and really enjoyed it. I knew that Brianna would still be going through her rehabilitation, with Stephen being her lifeline, but I didn't expect this book to surpass the first. NEED follows on the same suit as Slave, but with it comes character progression, new scenarios and a good sub plot.

I love the way Sherri gives us both character perspective, to divulge in each emotion, ea

I found myself liking this more than Slave. Shut up, JP, it's not because (view spoiler), but because this book did what a lot of the first book failed to do - connect with the characters.

Brianna was severely broken, body mind and soul. Need takes you on a journey of how Stephen, an amazing man who has the patience of a saint, took all his time and energy to slowly bring Brianna back to herself.

Stephen didn’t want her to burrow into her shell so he would take her out in public as much as possible. There were some incidents that could have been prevented but those moments showed Stephen what really happened to Brianna during her time with Ian. Ian was truly an evil man.

Once Again I am broken and exhausted after reading the second book of the series. When you first start this book you can feel Ana's confusion and heart break. Once I again I spent most of this book pissed off at Stephen. Until the very end... and then I fell in love with gentle masculine man. This book has a few sex scenes... but they weren't that steamy scene you are used to in books. These were hard for me to read... I kind of felt like I was walking into a private moment... uncomfortable and ...more

I am so loving this series. I have completely fallen head over heels for Stephen for the amount of patience and love he has for Brianna. I am absolutely loving how confident Brianna is becoming in her relationship with Stephen. Watching the way Brianna begins to trust again is heartbreaking and heartwarming all at the same time. I honestly can not wait for more!

I started this immediately after Slave, I just couldn't wait!!

It is despicable what people can do to each other for their own enjoyment.
As Brianna reveals more of her past with Ian, I wanted to cry and hit something and scream and invent a contraption for all such abusers to vanish the earth.
Alas, no such luck on the miracle contraption....

So..... in Need, Brianna understands finally (she knows in Book 1, but does not completely comprehend) that she is no longer someone'

Sherri spent most of her childhood detesting English class. It was one of her least favorite subjects because she never seemed to fit into the standard mold. She wasn't good at spelling, or following grammar rules, and outlines made her head spin. For that reason, Sherri never imagined becoming an author.
At the age of thirty, all of that changed. After getting frustrated with the direction a
