Isis Blake hasn’t fallen in love in three years, forty-three weeks, and two days. Or so she thinks.

The boy she maybe-sort-of-definitely loved and sort-of-maybe-definitely hated has dropped off the face of the planet in the face of tragedy, leaving a Jack Hunter–shaped hole. Determined to be happy, Isis fills it in with lies and puts on a brave smile for her new life at Oh

HOLY SWEET MOTHER OF THE LITERARY GODS!!! Sara Wolf has managed to put me back in the "book high" that I never ever want to come down from!!! She has done it again, brilliantly, at that. I've got admit, waiting for Brutal Precious for almost 6 months was such sweet torture! Add to the fact that the publication date was moved due to some issues. I was seriously devastated! BUT! Lo and behold, this book was very much w

Just finished the book and can you see that massive smile taking over my face

Isis' sarcastic demeanor had me bursting out laughing in the crack of dawn and quite possibly waking up the household at 3AM in the morning but who cares, it was infectious.

Honestly I feel like we see a desire from Jack we never saw from any of the other books. His desire to be with Isis really made me feel like we meet a deeper Jack who will strive for what he desires.

Sadly, this is the end of our journey with Jack a

It pains me to give this book only three stars because I was so prepared to give it a five (because obviously, I have fallen madly in love with the first two books, the characters Isis and Jack even Wren and Kayla, and the author herself, that if I could give the first books more than five stars, I would) but this third book lamentably did not fully live up to my sky high expectations. The first parts kept up my hopes for the book and all the feels I had d

Where art thou, Brutal Precious?
I don't think the world fully understands my predicament, you see. After reading two books out of three in this wonderful, perfect series, I've come to a realization: I am quite addicted to the banter that goes on between Isis and Jack.
I need Isis Blake in my life.
So Amazon,
I would very much so appreciate if you would. You know. Allow me the opportunity to read this book.

That’s right motherfuckers there’s a third book: Isis Blake is back and she gonna live her best life out of spite

“I’m a freshmen. Undecided. Nuclear Thermophysics. Culinary Arts. Depends on how I feel when I wake up that day.”

She is off to college and as a current student I definitely felt a connection on the transition period. Shes in a new place away from her defining family. Shes been hurt and gone through so much s

“Living is really weird. You never get used to it. But it happens anyway. And sometimes you find things that make it a little more comfortable, and you try to hold on to those things, and the tighter you hold, the faster they slip away.”

Although this book dealt with very dark issues, it was also funny and cute at times. I guess I really enjoyed reading this trilogy because of the amount of feelings I experienced while reading. I cried, laughed, and I was very angry

“Sometimes when life kicks you in the ass, you have to kick it back. In the nuts. With steel-toed boots. Essentially, if someone, anyone, kicks you, it is very mature to take the high-road and not kick them back. But it’s not fun. And I’m all about fun. One hundred percent fun. One fundred percent.”

What a fantastic ending to this SUPER FUN series! As a whole I absolutely loved each book. They are witty, yet pack a punch to your heart. I loved all the characters, but my favori

This whole series was so freaking awesome, i literally can not even think of anything else to say or write about regarding it other than you HAVE to read it. I loved every single second of this story.

It's been an extremely long time since i can fully say i enjoyed a book so while reading this, i was so giddy, jumping up and down in my seat because this book has finally gotten me out of my rut. Like I've said in the reviews of the past two books, I love Isis and Jack and I love this book and I a

I'm being lazy so just a few scattered thoughts:

- I liked the fact that each book in this series is short enough that you'll be craving for more.
- Even after reading the 3 books, I still love the heroine (Isis). She's so sarcastically funny and I really love her "talking-out-loud" thing.
- I don't get the hero (Jack) sometimes. His actions confuse me (alternating between hot and cold), and I don't understand why he still works for Gregory. I hate that he's screwing other women, even if it's only

4.5 stars!

ARC kindly provided by Entangled Publishing, LLC via Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.

The previous book had left me a big hole in the heart and this one started like this. The story goes on from where everything was left but there was no fast fix up. There was lots of pain, for the heroes and for me reading about them. There were small twists but most of all there were lots of answers. All questions from previous books were answered during this one. Ms. Wolf goes on writing

Recommends it for: Willa Knight and Curse of the Gods fans, New adult readers
Guyyyysss, this series is really really funny, the protagonist is so sassy!!! This last book is college setting so it's New adult but you'll have to suffer through two books with high school drama, teen angst and immature protagonists. Many of us hate YA!!!! But this is more NA so it's worth it, believe me, so so funny.
Read if you miss Willa Knight from the Curse of the Gods series.

OH.MY.WORD !!!

This series is freakin awesomeness with a dash of amazeballs !!!

I mean seriously , so much depth , real content matter , out of ordinary character development , intriguing plot line and a varied of emotions !

Out of the three books in this trilogy , I think I cried the most and hardest reading this one ... I was all like ...

Isis and her struggles , Jack and his struggles , their desperation , their feelings .. Ugh !!

Loved it !

After all that we 've been through together with Jack and Isis...
After so much pain, loss and heartbreakin' you finally did it!!!

You make me happy!!!!

In the beggining, things weren't good... It was worst than ever!

Jack left everything behind, including Isis and run away...

He was scared after Sofia's death...
He thought that he was responsible about her pain...
So he run away because of the fear of hurting Isis, too...

4 I'm going to miss Isis and Jack Stars

Jack

Isis

This series as a whole really caught me by surprise. Though I couldn't understand half of what Isis was babbling about, she managed to crack me up almost throughout the book.

This book was definitely very different than the first two books!
It's a closure for both Isis and Jack.

Isis is braver and isn't afraid to show her feelings this time around.
She's not exactly softer though. She's still crazy, spunky and her word vomits are outrageous. But she's I

I'm reviewing the last two books in this series together because I didn't even take a breath after the second before diving into the third after THAT ending, and so it all kinda blurs together for me. My husband asked me last night when I was halfway through the audio for Remember Me Forever what I was reading and then before I could respond, he said, "What's that look for? You don't want to tell me the name of it?" But it wasn't that. It's just that I had no idea how to put into words what I wa ...more

It feels like I was waiting forever for this book and I was so looking forward to reading the conclusion to Isis and Jack's story.

It opens several months after the funeral and Isis is trying to get on with her life in the wake of Jack's sudden departure. She moves to college, strikes up some new friendships and is trying to move forward when Nameless shows up on campus. Then Jack makes an appearance and her heart starts to hurt all over again. Jack is battling his feelings and he's determined to

It's really hard to describe these characters, I mean, they are so flawed, but in the end, that's what makes them real.

Meet Isis Blake

She is just a weak and broken girl who hides herself behind a tough and sarcastic facade.

Meet Jack Hunter aka The Ice Prince

Resident hottie, smart, cocky, but just as weak as Isis.

Brutal Precious was okay. I don't really know what to think about this book. It was disappointing and underwhelming. I feel like things were kind of overplayed in this which just kind of kept annoying me.

I missed Isis so I was kind of excited to dive into the last book. Just to see if it was going to go out with a bang. She's still her sarcastic self - but it just grated my nerves. She just seemed kind of fake to me and I ended up not liking her.

Now Isis doesn't seem to being having luck in her

“That’s just... that’s just the old-man-poetry-romanticism of it. People like to sound deep, so they say pain is a part of love, but it’s not. Love is—Love is being accepted and adored for who you are, scars and all.”

I’m not really sure how to write this review. On one hand, this book was a culmination of a trilogy worth of enemies to lovers slow-burn, steeped in smart writing, witty dialogue, poignant moral about trauma, and laugh out loud humour. On the other hand, I feel a lit

THERE WERE SO MANY BEAUTIFUL WORDS

Ummm... I really don't know what to think of this one. It's definitely my least favorite from the series but I honestly can't tell you if I liked it or not.

This is book three of the Isis and Jack saga and I found that what made these books a breath of fresh air in the first one just became forced and overdone for me here. I love sarcastic wit but it's beaten to death in this book. Everything Isis says is fake and rambly that I just can't find anything real in her dialogue. Then there's the situ
