The book was ok, obviously it was written more for beginners and not for someone who actually owns and could wear blue lipstick during daytime... Also there is no mention of mineral makeup which is what I usually wear.
3.5 stars. Some good tips in there. The chapters are really short and easy to understand, with beautiful illustrations. I feel that this book is written more for a western audience - the parts describing complexion and matching colors to your skin did not help much for me (as an Asian with warm undertones). However, it is a quick, fun read, and I think most of us will find something useful within this book.
A good straightforward guide to make-up. Not very detailed or comprehensive, but the charm of this title is in it's simplicity and beautiful illustrations. If you enjoyed this title, check out "How to Wear Jewelry: 55 Styles" by the same illustrator.
