Something So Right
The moment everything changed didn’t happen in that cliché rockets-red-glare kind of way, it happened in the form of a waking nightmare. I caught my husband, my high-school sweetheart, the father of my children, balls deep in a sordid affair.
That was when I gave up on men and love.
I didn’t count on the NHL’s go ...more
Debut author Natasha Madison delivers a solid story of a divorced mother of two’s fall for professional hockey player, Cooper Stone. Parker runs a hockey rink in which the star will be rehabilitating his busted knee in her great town. Parker is still rebuilding her self confidence since her husband and first love left her for another woman.
”I’ve had many years with a man who not only looked through me, he passed me, not looking at me. But you, you see me.”
Yeah. Time travel is not as funny as it should be.
This book had a lot of similarities to the one that was written later that I read - Tempt the Boss. Except it didn't have all of the funny moments, or much of a storyline. What it did have was sex. Lots and lots of sex. So much ...more

A hot Hockey Star, a strong independent woman, tons of heat and sexual chemistry. You better be ready for Something So Right because this book will leave you panting...
Parker is a divorced mother of two. She married her high school sweetheart and got her heart broken when she discovered he was having an affair. After that, she's lost all hope about ever loving again.
Her second love, after her kids, is Hockey. After her painful divor ...more
I cannot stand this book and the characters in it and I am DNF'ing it now at 25%. I tend to give the books I DNF only 1 star, so 1 star it is!
My main reason for disliking the book is I hate this kind of writing: too much telling but not showing. And because it is from the 1st person point of view, we never know what the as*hole hero thinks. In my opinion, all douche-bag heroes must have their chapters from their point of view so that the reade ...more
As far as sports romances go, the hockey part was pretty accurate, even though she says he won the “Hart Memorial Art Ross trophy“ and those are definitely two separate trophies, at least she didn’t ended the Stanley Cup playoffs in a sho ...more
This book was just brilliant. I enjoyed everything about it. The story is sucked in from page one it was so addictive. I first met Cooper and Parker in Tempt The Boss which i fell in luv with as well. The author really know how to create hot sexy men with dirty mouths God I luvd Coopers character. Parker is sassy and very sexy I really liked her as well she keeps Cooper on his toes. They are so hot together as well the sexual tension is smoking. I would highly recommend this book ...more

So, I have recently read my first book by this author Tempt The Boss and i loved it, it seemed fresh, hilarious and fun...
So, naturally, I wanted to read more books by this author hoping for the same effect BUT by the "same effect" i meant my feelings and impressions after the actual reading and yet I got the literal same effect from the storyline!
It was like i was having a deja vu!
The storyline, like I said was the same as in Tempt the boss, apart from the main cha ...more
Older heroine doesn't bother me anymore - I like this trope!
GO GO, GIRLS!!!
Will reread it soon 😉
16 October, 2016.
I loved this book!
Enjoyable read, likable characters, and fortunately strong heroine!
She was 5 years older than the H, normally it bothers me, but in this case I could live with it.
Some OW drama, but no cheating (view spoiler)[(except her husband cheated on her, but no HEA for the douchebag!) (hide spoiler)] Safe.
The hero was great.
Can`t wait to read “Hell and ...more
I liked this one but I did have a very hard time with the female narrator in the intimate scenes. She sounded like a porn star acting out a bratty school girl fantasy.
The storyline was interesting if a little predictable. The characters were original and I liked their connection and interaction with her kids.
I will definitely consider reading/listening to more stories from this author.
With the absolute PERFECT BLEND of alpha, asshole, and sweetheart, Natasha Madison brings us some of the best heroes around! It seems like I’ve been waiting my whole life to experience the magnetism THAT IS Cooper Stone! I started in the middle of this series and I’ve already been introduced to the ‘family man’ Cooper, so it was nice to go back and see where it all began. I gotta say, if I wasn’t in love with him before ...more
As far as debut novels go, I wish I could’ve enjoyed this one more. Unfortunately, Something So Right underwhelmed me in almost every way imaginable. It read more like a first draft, in that it was unpolished and in serious need of proper editing. I found the writing to be pedestrian, lacking a certain depth. The narrative was more diary-like in its presentation—rife with telling instead of showing. In a way, the author talked at me instead of to me with her wri ...more
When she meets the hero for the first time she doesn't have good impression of him but even then the two feel an attraction.
She's older and has two children and he is a famous and coveted by women.
I really enjoyed the story, but I thought the drama with his ex was dragged into the story. His ex seemed the monster of the horror movies that always comes back for another episode. The woman wouldn't give up ever.

After I read my first Natasha Madison book, Tempt the Boss I was instantly curious about Cooper and Parker. For some stupid reason I didn't read it right away and I am firmly regretting my decision now that I've finally dived into it. This couple really grabbed my attention and I couldn't put this book down once I started. It had some drama and angst, a lot of sweet moments, and a romance that made me swoon. I would definitely recommend this book and all of thi ...more
I really enjoyed this one! It was so much more fun than I expected!
You know that giddy butterfly feeling you get when you read something special or something. I got this at the beginning when Cooper became alpha possessive about Parker. But at times it really bothered me a bit, because sometimes it worked a bit on my nerve.
I hate Monica with a passion doesn't she have self respect? Like does she really think she is so special? And why does her father keep up with her horrible behavior. ...more
I like Natasha Madison book, Tempt the Boss. I thought the hero is swoon worthy by being father figure. However in Something So Right, its just not working for me.
What does not work is the chemistry between the hero and heroine. Their insta lust is not sexy. I feel more sexual harrastment. And I can not believe the heroine wanting more.
I just DNF this book.
I'm reading a lot of debut novels lately and I'm really enjoying all of them, this was no exception.
Natasha Madison writing reminded me of one of my favorite hockey romance author, not for the story contents but more for the similar feelings she gave me while reading it.
I liked how Parker and Cooper’s relationship developed, sweetly and mainly smoothly, without any major drama but with some realistic tiny bump here and there on the way and a lot of scorching hot sexy times.
I've particularly loved
I just could not seem to engage with these characters unfortunately. There is instalove aplenty but my overriding thought was that it just felt as if the story was being forced along the path that other books have taken previously.
again, it is just one person's opinion and not the consensus of the majority so take it how you will
I adore the whole growling, possessive alpha hero and Cooper was all that and a little more. From the start he told Parker what he wanted and never let her doubt it. I loved how he reacted to her having kids but I was even happier with how he treated them and loved them.
Parker had me from ...more
