This is a genre that needs some serious help. I have yet to find a good book on filipino cooking. This is another bad example in an impoverished genre. Other than the fairly attractive photographs this book is a tough sell.

This book didn't have any of the recipes I was anticipating, but it did have a great overview of traditional Filipino ingredients.
