"This man & his entire army are about ready to feel the wrath, the redemption, the absolution and the deliverance for murdering my uncle."

Wow, just wow. I am at a complete loss.
My head hurts.
My heart is aching.
The final instalment in the Syndicate Series.
I am going to miss them all.
Cain, Roan, Aidan and Dilan
Calla, Alina, Deidre and Anna.
These guys, who have been a part of my world for so long, has now come to a close.
And guys believe me when I tell you that I didn't expect their ending to go like this.

Again we are introduced to the Diamond Empire.
A tight family, who although break the law, are loyal and they love each other unconditionally. They are a solid unit. Their bonds are simply unbreakable.

But what happens when those bonds are tested?
What happens when trust is gone?
What happens when the walls they have built to protect them are crumbling?

The family is in trouble.
Someone is out for blood.
For their blood.
Death surrounds them.
They are being killed one by one.
A new family in New York are set to destroy everything that the Diamond empire have built.
How can Roan and Calla stop them?
Who can they trust?
How can they save their family from crumbling into a million pieces?
How can they save their family from any more grief and pain?
Or is the damage to great to ever repair?
Will the Diamond Empire ever be the same again?

Guys you so definitely need to read Empire to find out.
Empire....What can I say other than I was completely captivated from the very beginning, I seriously couldn't put it down.
It's raw, highly confronting, and at times gruesome.
It's heartbreaking, breathtaking and simply beautiful.
It's dark, gritty and action packed.
Oh and please lets not forget.....Sinfully delicious.....No wait panty melting....It's all things so yummy it will make your insides tingle.

Empire is absolute perfection. It is extremely powerful and an absolute fitting ending to this amazing series.
I couldn't have asked for anything more.
Sheer brilliance.

Oh, hell yeah! Kathy brought it!

When I finished book 4, I was hesitant to read 5. The Deliverance of Dilan was good but it wasn't as good as the others. It felt like a washed out version. But Empire is not washed out, it amps up the tension.

In order to appreciate/understand all that's going on in Empire, you must read the other books in the Syndicate series. You will be lost otherwise.

Empire starts with an unexpected loss. To say the family is rattled is an understatement. Loss like that has the family shaken to the core. But this is not the end...it's only the beginning.

People are being killed. Threats are being made. But innocents are dying. Not acceptable.

One person finds the strength to do something terrifying. But will it be in vain? Will it work? Too many variables in a plan that has barely been thought out...

I really enjoyed the conclusion to the Syndicate series. It's nice to revisit Roan and Calla- their point of views. It was hard to put down. I was desperate to know what was next and if it would work.To see each character grow into their new position was pretty cool.

Again, it's a mafia book so...sold.

4 Thrilling stars!!

“I chose this. It is my life, my family’s life, and in spite of the things we do, I would choose it all over again. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.”

“..At times the most important people in your life can be taken away, but it’s your memories of them which remind you of who you are.”

What a fantastic, crazy, thrilling ride! Empire is the final book in the Syndicate Series and it is going to keep you on the edge of your seat right until the very end.

Empire is told from multiple points of view and is filled with everything that we’ve come to know and love from The Syndicate Series. Now, since this is a pretty quick and fast paced read, I am not going to say very much about this book. This exciting conclusion is one that needs to be experienced and not spoiled. Empire is exciting and filled with action and sexy good times. All the burning questions you’ve had will be answered and all loose ends will be tied up. Empire will grab onto you from the very beginning and keep you on your toes right to the very end. This story has the perfect balance of drama, suspense, loads of action and of course, lots of sexy good times.

Kathy Coopmans does not disappoint with this final installment of The Syndicate Series. She gave me every single thing that I could have wanted and asked for. And I will say this, the ending left me with a very satisfied smile on my face. Empire is as I said the final book in this series and can not be read as a stand-alone. Fans of this series, you are in for one exciting ride.

Received an ARC for an honest review.

"This man & his entire army are about ready to feel the wrath, the redemption, the absolution and the deliverance for murdering my uncle."

The final installment in the syndicate series brings all the players back to avenge the death of the head of the Diamond Empire.
Roan Diamond, along with his cousin Calla as his second, pull together the "family" to take down the continued threat to all they hold dear.

Who can you trust?
How many are involved in the murder?
Are their allies really their allies?
Follow along as the beloved characters do their best to stay alive and eliminate the threat hanging over all their heads.
A bittersweet but awesome end to a great series.

I have got to say wanted this one but on the other hand I know this one will for sure bring me to my knees. The relationships that have built over the course with the families growing have been wonderful to read. The other side though is the danger and death that has come and gone with evil having a couple different faces. These families will now stand up against the biggest evil yet with whom is left standing is the thrill of the read on this one. Goosebumps, thrills and chills will course through as you read with everyone in place with Roan and Calla. Your anxiety level will sky rocket at times but lovin will still be hard and wet. The final showdown will be started and set up like dominoes with only reading it will reveal who is left. The love and energy can truly be felt that the author put into this one with the energy level is extra ordinary. Not often can that be said that it blasts from the pages but at same time your screaming no no do not let it end. She will spin you dry but give you some relief then bam you know the drill spectacular wrap up leaving me with rug burns on my knees.

Review: Empire - The Syndicate Series
Written by: Kathy Coopmans
Stars: 5*****

Empire is another fantastic book and continues on with the Diamond family. It begins with Roan, Calla and the rest of Diamond family trying to figure out why Salvatore was killed and who did it. You will be pulled in and when the story is said and done you will most definitely be surprised with the outcome of this fantastic story. As with all of the previous books in the Syndicate series Kathy keeps you pulled in and she knows how to write to keep you glued to the story. Once I started I was not able to put my kindle down and I needed to keep reading, it was a need that I can't explain, I just needed to know what was going to happen next. I don't know how Kathy Coopmans can keep writing such great stories about one family and they be so good that you just have to keep turning the pages. If I could write half as good as her, I would have the worlds best selling book ever, that is how good she writes and how good this book is. I don't care what you are currently reading, but what ever it is, it is no where as good as this one- so stop reading your currently book and go buy Empire and get to reading. You will NOT disappointed. You will LOVE it!!!!

Empire is written in a way that makes you fill like you are right in the story as one of the family members, makes you feel like you are sitting right in the office with Roan when they are all talking about what they need to do to figure out who killed his father. Every time I turned the page and read another line I could just picture myself right in the office with them. I can't explain it to you, it was just a feeling I got while reading. Kathy just writes that well. I love how when she writes about Calla, she writes her as a strong independent woman who can handle her self, but still needs to be taken care of by her husband. I have noticed in other Mafia stories the women aren't always independent, they are written as some lost little lamb that needs to be hand held and pulled along. Not with a Kathy Coopmans book. I just love her books and love how she writes her characters. She is a freaking fantastic writer and I have loved every single book I have read of hers and this one is no exception.

This book is most definitely worth the money and the time you will spend reading. Kathy knows how to spin the words to pull you in and keep you intrigued until the very last word and leaves you begging for more. I highly recommend you reading this book. I will say you should read the other books in the Syndicate Series first and read them in order. If you don't you will still love Empire, but with reading the others it will be much more enjoyable. Thank you so much Kathy for gifting me an ARC for an honest review. I thoroughly enjoyed every page of Empire and I look forward to reading more about the Diamond family. Now everyone go and get this five star read and get to reading. Happy Reading and Enjoy!!!!!

“God, this man standing gloriously naked in front of me is who my mom wants me to remember. The tough exterior, the soft interior. I see it now with the way he rubs his hands up and down my back. The way he runs his fingers through my long, wet hair. This is my Cain.”

I have been glued to this series since book one and each one just seems to take my breath away. But out of all five, I think this one is my favorite to date!!! I fell in love with Cain and Calla’s story even more! And while I’m sad this is the final book in the series, I feel like their story and the series as a whole was wrapped up beautifully!!! Kathy never disappoints when it comes to her books!! HUGE fan!

Empire The Syndicate #5
Kathy Coopmans
4.5 stars

Empire is the final book in the Elite Forces Series. I recommend you read the first four books before you dive into this one. I will tell you there is somewhat of a recap at the beginning so you wouldn’t be completely lost but in order to appreciate the turmoil and the horror the Diamond family has been through and survived I would read books one through four prior.

Roan and Calla are at the head of the family with the murder of Roan’s father. There is someone close to the family who knew exactly where his father would be. That can only mean one thing …. However getting on the inside undetected is going to be a feat. Something the family cannot do alone.

The family loyalty is tested – bonds are meant to be broken .. right? If you cannot trust your own family then who can trust .. that is the question. The Empire is falling apart and everything the family knows is being tested. Calla cannot let the family be picked off one by one – Roan is determined he will make the person who is responsible pay in blood and pain.

I absolutely loved this series … its going to be hard not having the guys and their ladies around. Cain, Roan, Aidan, Dilan, Calla, Alina, Deidre and Anna – now we have the kids – the family must survive.

I know Im being vague but I cannot say too much and certainly don’t want to say anything that would sway a reader to believe they know what happens or who is gunning for the Diamond Empire. I love Kathy and I hope that she will begin a new journey for us with a new family --- a new adventure. This has to be my favorite of the five as Calla is a bad bad woman … who doesn’t love that!

The cover is stunning -- I love the image and the colors that surround the couple. Bravo Kathy -- One of your best.

Thank you for the ARC! Review to post to Ramblings From Beneath the Sheets.

I received this as an ARC. Now with that being said..

Kathy I'm not ready for this series to be over.. (running lip out)

This family has came so far since Cain and with the death of the head of the Diamond Empire it hits them all really hard. They are a tight family.

Ronan has big shoes to fill and the love of his Family and the Empire is what gets him through. He has to put Calla in to do the job and that's something he doesn't like to do. The women are to stay home and not get put into situations like the one he has too put Calla in.

Calla has a lot to prove in this book and Cain is going to have to take a back seat and let her regardless if he wants to or not. He doesn't like being on the receiving end of the worry and waiting.

This family goes through HELL but comes out stronger. If you are looking for a AMAZING series look no further THIS IS YOUR SERIES..

The perfect ending to the Syndicate Series, all the loose ends wrapped up in this perfect book! Roan and Calla are back in charge as well as all of the boys and all of the kids. What more can you ask for? Murder and torture only the way Kathy Coopmans can write it, you got it!!

As the cousins prepare to take on the mysterious person who is aiming to take out the Diamond family, they show just how tight knit the family really is. Lots of action and love in this book just like the others.

I’m sad to see the series come to an end, but Kathy did it in the perfect way. Women in powerful positions, men that love them, children that are happy and a family that truly love each other! Perfect 10 in my book!

The Syndicate Series has been full of love, angst, loyalty and completely action packed. With Empire being the final book to the series it's totally action packed.

Now that something nobody expected to ever happen does you learn who you can truly trust and can't. People's careers take a turn. Is it by chose though?

Empire ends with all your unanswered questions taken care of. In my opinion it is the most action packed of all the books in the series.

If you can not handle torture, violence or blood this book is not for you BUT if you are all about finishing out a series and needing questions answered you definitely need to grab it up. Before you do I hope you grabbed all the books since book 1 while they were on sale. Why you ask?

THIS IS NOT A STAND ALONE BOOK.

I gave this book 5 EMPIRE stars!

This book continues The Empire Series, so if you haven't read the other it's a must!

This book is Amazing, Raw, and a Mind Fu**! I never suspected what was coming and it was just what it needed to be to the ending of this series.

We get to see Calla and Roan thoughts through out this book and catch up with the others. I fell in love with each of these characters and I'm a little hungover that this was the end. It amazes me how Kathy took each of the books, made them where they could be a stand alone but ties them all together for a finally that would leave you just speechless.

I guess as a reader I am hoping that we get more in the Empire Series down the road but if not, it's definitely in my top 10 for a series.

After the head of the Diamond family is killed the reigns are taken up by Roan with Calla as under boss. Both are fueled by revenge against the ones - or one - responsible. It wont be an easy job, especially for Calla. Old school made men believe there is no room in the family for a female. Apparently they don't know Calla very well. In the final Syndicate installment we will see if vengeance is gained or if the house of cards falls.

This is my confession: I loved the first 4 books greatly. This final book? Not as much unfortunately. I just found myself not getting into as much as the others. I do however enjoy the writing itself. That was the deciding factor between following through to the end or DNF. The writing is also reflected in the rating. All in all a solid 3.5.

I have been waiting for this book, I have mixed emotions cause I'm happy to have another inside look to Syndicate Series but sad to see it end.

We get to see how strong the Diamond Empire really is, if read any of this series you know that even though they may live on the wrong side of the law , when it comes to thier family and what is right , there is no one more loyal, but when these bonds of chains are pulled tighter than ever from within can that bond last?
This whole series is amazing and would recommend reading whole series in order.

I have been waiting for the conclusion of this series for a while. Having read all of the previous books I was sucked in from the get go and while I was prepared for the end I wasn't ready. This is one emotional read from the first page. In this one we see Calla and Roan come into their own after a tragic lost to their family. The family had been fighting to gain ground in the previous books and it seemed like every time they won there was a new struggle.

,blockquote>"Although he left me with the decision to choose, I chose this life. It is my life, my family's life, and in spite of things we do, I would choose it all over again."

I loved how much Calla really became what she chose to be even though Cain, her husband, and Roan, her cousin, along with most of the others was just so against it. They didn't want her to have live that sort of life, to be exposed to the things that they have had to in the past and would do in the future. In fact even tells her he will do it but she proves that even though a woman she is very much her parent's child. I think that is something that men in the family forgot.

"All four of us are here. We've been through the troubles each one of us has had. Our women being kidnapped, threats most of our lives. None of us are indestructible, but given the tight bond we have with each other, there isn't a single one who could be replaced."

The men in this one are as HOT as ever! They are determined to put an end to the threat and live the lives that they each fought hard for. They have had to sacrifice more than most but have stayed strong and true to the family as well as to one another. Roan is everything you would imagine a mafia guy to be and then some. There is a side to him that only those within the family see and I love it. His strength and love for his family, whether through blood or the mafia, pours off the pages.

This was the perfect ending to an amazing series and I honestly hope that sometime int he future maybe we get a little reunion or stories about the children of these beautifully written characters. I am sad to see it end but happy in the knowledge that my favorite mafia family got the justice they needed and deserved.

Empire by Kathy Coopmans was fantastic. I loved having all the different POV’s throughout the book. You get some of everyone although it centers around Roan and Calla. This book was so emotional and kept me wanting more yet not wanting it to end. You could literally feel the angst coming off the pages from the betrayal and deceit. I was angry and my heart broke for all the heartache and pain this family went through. Seeing these hardened mafia men cry almost did me in! Talk about big lovable softies when it comes to their families, except when you cross them. Get ready to face the wrath. I fell so hard for Cain in The Wrath of Cain, but OMG I absolutely melted in this book. This one quote completely did me in. “Christ. I love you so much. Don’t go anywhere, Calla. Never leave me. I swear to God as my witness, I won’t survive without you.” Another thing I loved was the strength and determination of the women. Calla is one tough cookie that proved she will do whatever it takes to take care of her family. You must read this book. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.

⭐I was extremely lucky to receive an ARC copy of this book from the Author and TRSoR⭐️

This is the final part of the Syndicate series and it's the first one I've read. I will now be going back to get the first four books. Kathy Coopmans is now added to my follow list

This story is filled with angst, revenge, violence, betrayal and is action packed with page turning twists and turns that keeps you hooked from beginning to end. The men are all hot and steamy, and the women are feisty and sexy.

This book started with a bang. People are being killed, threats are being made. Who is after the family? Who can they trust?

This is a brilliantly written series. The characters are riveting and really get under your skin. I love that the woman are strong and feisty instead of the innocent, needs protecting women that are usually in mafia books

The final book in this mob series has big changes within the Diamond Empire. Calla who when we first met her had no idea what kind of family she was born into nor what kind of family her husband Cain was from is now the second-in-command to her cousin Roan Diamond who had to take over after the murder of his father.

Calla and Roan have one thing on their minds – finding the man responsible for killing Salvatore Diamond. All four of the couples from the previous books are back but its Calla and Roan's POV we get through the book.

I remember starting this journey with Calla where we were first introduced to her family of assassins and her husbands family of mobsters. The parents were the ones running things then but now its the children who have grown into their roles of running the Empire and family is everything to them and if you threaten said families watch out.

I received a complimentary copy of this book for an honest review. I have loved every book in this series and this one was no exception. While for me it started out a little slow, once the action started...I was hooked. I wasn't sure how I was going to like reading from the POV of people who weren't a couple but it truly played out perfectly. I was so intrigued to find out how they were going to get the person responsible for all the horrible things that had happened to the families. While I am sad that this is the end of the series, it was wonderfully done. I will miss these characters and all the craziness that goes with their Empire. Thank you Kathy for bringing these wonderful stories to us.

Yes yes yes Kathy saved the best for last she brought it all together in this last instalment.
At the start of the book the family is in turmoil they are heartbroken after an unexpected and devastating loss but never underestimate this family.
We get both Calla and Roan's POV they are both struggling to deal with everything that's happened and Calla has a new role she has to accept. There is betrayal and deceit at every turn, lives are lost the guys seen to be running in circles trying to figure out who to trust and who is the real threat.
Loved getting back to all the guys and their families, loved all the drama I was on the edge of my seat at points. Kathy gave us a fitting end to this fantastic series.

This is the final part of the Syndicate series, and unfortunately the first one that I have read. I will certainly be going and 1-clicking the previous books. This is the story of Roan, Calla, and the rest of the Diamond family, as they try to figure out who killed Salvatore. This story is full of angst, revenge, violence, betrayal, deceit, and twists and turns. I never suspected what was coming!
This is the first time I have read any of this authors work, and oh my word, it will not be the last. This author has the ability to reel in the reader from the very beginning, and I was intrigued throughout. This author has done a fantastic job on this series, and I recommend her work for all.

Sad that it's over
This books starts off with our crew dealing with a major loss and the hits just keep on coming. In this book we get to see Roan and Calla step up to the plate to do what needs to be done. Neither hesitate to do it. We really get to see how strong the ties between these family members really are. The build to the end was page turning. A new threat, an unsuspecting enemy and a ghost that just won't die - by the end of this story all will be dealt with in a way that will leave you satisfied. This is definitely not a standalone, but the series is so good it is not a sacrifice to read it all. Highly recommend.

This is the first book I have read by Kathy Coopmans. I did enjoy reading this book however since I have not read the first four books in this series I did feel lost some of the time while reading. I found the book to be well written and developed. I do wish there was a little more content to the book. I now need to go back and read the first five books. If you have read the first part of this series I am sure you will love this book. Our Blog was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

The final instalment in the syndicate series goes out with a blast. The death of the head to the Diamond Empire means a new leader and then task of finding the murderer and revenge.
Roan Diamond takes the lead and Calla his cousin, his second round up the family to protect all that they dear.
But is it enough, who was involved in the murder, who can be trusted. There is so much suspense and intrigue in this story, and questions abound it was hard to put down, a real page turner. A great ending to a magnificent series.

As the Syndicate Series wraps up, all I can say is hold on for the ride! Kathy Coopmans has created the perfect ending in a way only she can. As Roan and the Diamond family work to take out the threat against them all, you see a surprising leader take charge and take care of what needs to be done in only a way they can. Unexpected partnerships and betrayals, smoking hot sex, and the business violence do not disappoint!

The conclusion to the Syndicate series.....and what a conclusion it was!

There was drama, revalations and a family divided.

But when a family pulls together....anything is possible.

I love this whole gang, their loyalty, their friendship and their love but 1 woman stood out to me in this book.....Calla...that woman has balls of steel!

Whilst I couldnt wait to read this, Im so sad to see the end of this series. It has been a great ride, I mean read!
