Very detailed yet simple

It was a short enough book. Every page has illustrations and the book overall did not bore me. It was interesting and entertaining. However, it got a little too descriptive when it got to war.

A nice overview of the history of Rome. They did seem to have a problem with greed and backstabbing. They also took the Greek myths and gave them Roman names.
